Brawn GP was a Formula One constructor which competed in the 2009 Formula One World Championship, with drivers Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello. The team was formed in 2009 by a management buyout led by Ross Brawn of the Honda Racing F1 Team, after Honda announced their withdrawal from the sport in December 2008 due to the global financial crisis. The team started development of their car in early 2008, when still owned by Honda. For the 2009 season, Honda provided a $100 million budget, while Mercedes provided engines under a customer relationship.On its racing debut, the season-opening 2009 Australian Grand Prix, the team took pole position and second place in qualifying and went on to finish first and second in the race. Button won six of the first seven races of the season, and on 18 October at the Brazilian Grand Prix he secured the 2009 Drivers' Championship, while the team won the Constructors' Championship. Barrichello won twice and finished third in the Drivers' Championship. The team won eight of the season's seventeen races, and by taking both titles in its only year of competition became the first, and so far the only constructor to achieve a 100% championship success rate. On 16 November 2009 it was confirmed that the team's engine supplier, Mercedes-Benz, in partnership with Aabar Investments had purchased a 75.1% stake in Brawn GP, which was renamed Mercedes GP for the 2010 season, many of the Brawn GP former employees were retained by the new Mercedes team following the buyout.

Brackley Town was a railway station which served the Northamptonshire town of Brackley in England. It opened in 1850 as part of the Buckinghamshire Railway's branch line to Verney Junction which provided connections to Banbury, Bletchley and Oxford and closed in 1963.

Brackley Town Football Club is a football club in Brackley, Northamptonshire, England. They are currently members of the National League North, the sixth tier of English football, and play at St. James Park. The club won the FA Trophy in 2018.

Juniper Hill is a hamlet in the civil parish of Cottisford in Oxfordshire, England, 2 miles (3.2 km) south of Brackley in neighbouring Northamptonshire. Juniper Hill was named after the common juniper, Juniperus communis, which originally grew in the area. In 1754, there were only two cottages in the area, but on the 1841 census there are 16 households in the village, and by 1901 25. The local inn, established about 1860, was the Fox.Flora Thompson was born in Juniper Hill in 1876. She fictionalised the hamlet as Lark Rise in her Lark Rise to Candleford trilogy.

Brackley Cricket Club Ground (Also called Westminster Road) is a cricket ground in Brackley, Northamptonshire. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1962, when Brackley Cricket Club moved from its original ground at Manor Road. In 1971, the ground held its first List-A match when Northamptonshire played Gloucestershire in the John Player League. From 1971 to 1975, the ground hosted 5 List-A matches, the last of which saw Northamptonshire play Nottinghamshire in 1975 John Player League.In local domestic cricket, the ground is the home venue of Brackley Cricket Club.

Brackley Town Hall is a municipal structure in the Market Place, Brackley, Northamptonshire, England. The structure, which serves as the meeting place of Brackley Town Council, is a Grade II* listed building.

St Martin's is the Roman Catholic Church in Brackley. It is in the joint Parish of Buckingham and Brackley, together with St Bernardine's Catholic Church, Buckingham, in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Northampton.

Magdalen College School, Brackley, in Northamptonshire, is one of three ancient "Magdalen College Schools", the others being Magdalen College School in Oxford, and Wainfleet All Saints in Lincolnshire, all associated with Magdalen College, Oxford and its founder William Waynflete, Bishop of Winchester. Located in the town of Brackley, the school occupies two sites: Waynflete site and St John's site (see history section). The Waynfleye site was formerly a Secondary Modern school. This site accommodates most of the secondary school students' lessons, after which students transfer to the St John's site (the site of the old Magdalen College School before the two schools were merged) for more of their lessons during the Sixth Form. Today the school has approximately 1,500 students, and averages 59% A*–C at GCSE Previously a boys' grammar school, then a voluntary controlled comprehensive school, it converted to academy status in January 2013. The St John's site is still owned by Magdalen College, Oxford, and they are represented on the governing body, but Magdalen (Brackley) had to lease the site from the Oxford college for 999 years to become an academy.

Brackley is a market town and civil parish in West Northamptonshire, England, bordering Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, 19 miles (31 km) from Oxford and 22 miles (35 km) from Northampton. Historically a market town based on the wool and lace trade, it was built on the intersecting trade routes between London, Birmingham, the Midlands, Cambridge and Oxford. Brackley is close to Silverstone and home to the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team.

Cottisford is a village and civil parish in Oxfordshire, about 3.5 miles (5.6 km) south of Brackley in neighbouring Northamptonshire. The parish's northern and northwestern boundaries form part of the boundary between the two counties. The parish includes the hamlet of Juniper Hill about 1 mile (1.6 km) northwest of Cottisford. The 2011 Census recorded the parish's population as 216.The village stands beside Crowell Brook, which is a stream that passes the villages of Hethe, Fringford and Godington before entering Buckinghamshire where it becomes part of Padbury Brook, a tributary of the Great Ouse. Cottisford's toponym refers to a former ford across Crowell Brook. In the 13th century the village was called Wolfheysford or Urlfesford.

Brackley Central was a railway station on the former Great Central Main Line which ran from Manchester Piccadilly to London Marylebone, the last main line to be built from the north of England to London.

Mixbury is a village and civil parish in Oxfordshire, about 2.5 miles (4 km) southeast of Brackley in Northamptonshire.
