Westbury is a village and civil parish in northern Buckinghamshire, England, about 2.5 miles (4.0 km) east of Brackley and 5 miles (8.0 km) west of Buckingham. It is close to the A422 and the border with Oxfordshire. The village was given by King Edward IV to the Company of Cooks in London, and has since been sold into private hands.The parish church is St Augustine, a Grade II* listed building. The church dates back to the 13th century, though much restored in 1863. Fulwell & Westbury was a railway station in Buckinghamshire that served the village of Westbury and the hamlet of Fulwell in neighbouring Oxfordshire, England. It opened in 1879 London & North Western Railway who had taken over the line from the Buckinghamshire Railway that year. The station consisted of one platform, a ticket office, and two waiting rooms. The station was closed for passengers in 1961 and completely in December 1963.

Brawn GP was a Formula One constructor which competed in the 2009 Formula One World Championship, with drivers Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello. The team was formed in 2009 by a management buyout led by Ross Brawn of the Honda Racing F1 Team, after Honda announced their withdrawal from the sport in December 2008 due to the global financial crisis. The team started development of their car in early 2008, when still owned by Honda. For the 2009 season, Honda provided a $100 million budget, while Mercedes provided engines under a customer relationship.On its racing debut, the season-opening 2009 Australian Grand Prix, the team took pole position and second place in qualifying and went on to finish first and second in the race. Button won six of the first seven races of the season, and on 18 October at the Brazilian Grand Prix he secured the 2009 Drivers' Championship, while the team won the Constructors' Championship. Barrichello won twice and finished third in the Drivers' Championship. The team won eight of the season's seventeen races, and by taking both titles in its only year of competition became the first, and so far the only constructor to achieve a 100% championship success rate. On 16 November 2009 it was confirmed that the team's engine supplier, Mercedes-Benz, in partnership with Aabar Investments had purchased a 75.1% stake in Brawn GP, which was renamed Mercedes GP for the 2010 season, many of the Brawn GP former employees were retained by the new Mercedes team following the buyout.

The parish's northern and northwestern boundaries form part of the boundary between the two counties. The parish includes the hamlet of Juniper Hill about 1 mile (1.6 km) northwest of Cottisford. The 2011 Census recorded the parish's population as 216.The village stands beside Crowell Brook, which is a stream that passes the villages of Hethe, Fringford and Godington before entering Buckinghamshire where it becomes part of Padbury Brook, a tributary of the Great Ouse. Cottisford's toponym refers to a former ford across Crowell Brook. In the 13th century the village was called Wolfheysford or Urlfesford.

From 1971 to 1975, the ground hosted 5 List-A matches, the last of which saw Northamptonshire play Nottinghamshire in 1975 John Player League.In local domestic cricket, the ground is the home venue of Brackley Cricket Club.

Brackley Town was a railway station which served the Northamptonshire town of Brackley in England. It opened in 1850 as part of the Buckinghamshire Railway's branch line to Verney Junction which provided connections to Banbury, Bletchley and Oxford and closed in 1963.
