Tuas Biomedical Park

Tuas South Incineration Plant is the largest waste incineration facility in Singapore. It was commissioned in June 2000. The plant can incinerate 3000 tonns of garbage everyday. The incineration reduces the waste volume by 90%. The plant occupies 10.5 ha of reclaimed land. It was constructed at a cost of S$890 million. The plant also generate 80 MW of electricity.

The Spyros disaster was a major industrial disaster that occurred in Singapore on 12 October 1978, where the Greek tanker Spyros exploded at Jurong Shipyard, killing 76 people and injuring 69 others. It remains the worst accident, in terms of lives lost, in Singapore's post-war history. It is also Singapore's worst industrial accident.

Pulau Merambong, formerly known as Pulo Ular, is an uninhabited island on the Straits of Johor. The island is dominated by mangrove swamp. It is located just 1 kilometre (0.62 miles) off the coast from Tuas, Singapore. Administratively, it is placed under the Pontian District, Johor, Malaysia.

USS LST-649 originally was a United States Navy LST-542-class tank landing ship built during World War II and in commission from 1944 to 1946 and again in the late 1952. She was sold to the Republic of Singapore Navy and renamed RSS Resolution (L-204).

Tuas Naval Base (TNB) is the second naval base of the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN). Located at the western tip of Singapore, it occupies 0.28 km² (0.11 sq mi) of land. It was officially opened on 2 September 1994, by Goh Chok Tong, the Prime Minister of Singapore(at the time). For about two decades, Brani Naval Base was the RSN's only base. An expansion of the fleet in the early 1980s meant that more space was needed for the fleet and its shore infrastructure. However, this was not possible as the land around Brani was reserved for use by the port authority to develop container facilities. As a result, Tuas was selected as the site for a second naval base. Better utilisation of space at TNB resulted in two and a half times more berthing space than Brani, even though TNB only has a shoreline of 850 m (0.5 mi). Provision was also made for recreational facilities. Automation was incorporated into the design of TNB to reduce manpower requirements, such as mechanical ramps for the loading and unloading of vehicles and an automatic storage and retrieval system. It also has a floating dock which can lift 600 tonnes and transfer a ship from sea to land to facilitate repairs and maintenance.Currently, the Littoral Mission Vessel, the missile corvettes, patrol vessels and mine counter-measures vessels are based at TNB.

Tuas Crescent MRT station is an above-ground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station along the East–West line in Tuas, Singapore. This station is named after a road in the vicinity.

Tuas West Road MRT station is an above-ground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station along the East West line in Tuas, Singapore. This station took its name from a nearby road. It is located along Pioneer Road, near the junction with Tuas West Road, and sits along the boundaries of the Tuas North, Tuas Bay and Tuas Promenade planning subzones. The station serves industries in the vicinity of Pioneer Road and Tuas West Road, such as Tuas Avenue 9, 11, 12 and 20, Tuas Lane and Tuas West Avenue.

Jurong Island desalination plant is a desalination plant on Jurong Island in Singapore. It is the fifth desalination plant in Singapore.

Gul Circle MRT station is an elevated Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the East West line (EWL). Located in Tuas, western Singapore, the station serves the surrounding industries of JTC Space @ Tuas and Mapletree Pioneer Logistic Hub. The station is operated by SMRT Trains. First announced in 2011 as Tuas MRT station, it was constructed as part of the Tuas West Extension (TWE). The station began operations on 18 June 2017. At the height of 33 metres (108 ft), the station is the tallest elevated station in Singapore. The station has a stacked island platform arrangement with provisions for an MRT extension to Tuas South.

Tuas Depot is an MRT depot serving the East West Line, located between Tuas West Road and Tuas West Drive in Singapore. It was constructed by Jurong Primewide Pte Ltd at a contract sum of S$237.1 million. Construction of the depot together with the four stations of the Tuas West Extension started in late 2011 and were fully operational on 18 June 2017. The depot is located after Tuas Link MRT station and it is able to house up to 60 trains. This is the second largest depot as the maintenance for the East West Line trains will be carried out here. With the opening of this depot, the maintenance load in Bishan Depot has been lightened as both of the lines would have their own maintenance centre. The depot is located off Tuas Link station on the East West Line and has two reception tracks: two tracks eastbound towards Tuas Link station.

Tuas Link MRT station is an elevated Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station in western Singapore. Located in Tuas along Tuas West Drive, it is located close to Tuas Depot and Tuas Checkpoint. The station is the terminus of the East–West line (EWL) and the westernmost station in Singapore. First announced in 2011 as part of the Tuas West Extension (TWE), the station began operations on 18 June 2017. The station is operated by SMRT Trains. It is the only elevated station in Singapore to feature a concourse above the platforms, due to space constraints at the ground level.

The Specialist Cadet School (SCS) is the military training centre for the Singapore Armed Forces' specialists, the equivalent of non-commissioned officers (NCOs) in other countries' armed forces. Made up of twelve companies divided into three schools (SCS I, SCS II, and SCS III), it is located in Pasir Laba Camp in the Western Water Catchment.The three schools, along with the SAFWOS Leadership School (SAFWOS) and Specialist and Warrant Officer Advanced School (SWAS), form the Specialist and Warrant Officer Institute (SWI).
