The Ritter Observatory is an astronomical observatory owned and operated by the University of Toledo (UT) in Toledo, Ohio. Ritter Planetarium is located in the same building, and the university also operates Brooks Observatory in an adjacent building. Ritter Observatory features a 1.06 m (42 in) Ritchey-Chrétien telescope built in 1967 by Warner & Swasey Company of Cleveland, Ohio. It was installed in 1968, and is used primarily for spectroscopy and occasionally for instruction and public viewing events. Research conducted at the observatory focuses on long-term spectroscopic monitoring of stars such as Rigel, Beta Lyrae, and Zeta Tauri.

Brooks Observatory is an astronomical observatory owned and operated by the University of Toledo. The observatory is used primarily for public viewing and undergraduate instruction. It hosts an array of small telescopes, the centrepiece of which is a Celestron 14 Edge HD. It is located on the campus of the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio (USA), occupying the 6th floor of McMaster Hall, home to the Department of Physics and Astronomy. Adjacent to Brooks Observatory is Ritter Observatory, which houses Ritter Planetarium and a one-metre telescope. In contrast to the telescopes at Brooks Observatory, the Ritter telescope is used for graduate and faculty research.

Sculpture in the Park is a non-profit sculpture garden on "Arrowhead Point" in eastern Ottawa Hills, Ohio, at the five-way intersection of Secor Road, Bancroft Street, and Indian Road. All of the sculptures are large enough "to be easily visible from the street", and there is a great deal of variety. The sculptures get much exposure at this location, since "thousands of cars pass by... daily."

Savage Arena (formerly John F. Savage Hall and Centennial Hall) is a multi-purpose arena located in Toledo, Ohio, on the campus of the University of Toledo. The arena opened in 1976 and originally seated 9,000 for basketball and up to 10,000 for concerts. As part of a $30 million renovation and addition to the arena, completed in 2008, the seating capacity was reduced to 7,300 for basketball and up to 8,300 for concerts. It primarily serves as the home venue for the Toledo Rockets men's and women's basketball teams and women's volleyball team, and also hosts concerts, commencement exercises, and other events.

The 2014–15 Toledo Rockets Huskies men's basketball team represented the University of Toledo during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Rockets, led by fifth year head coach Tod Kowalczyk, played their home games at Savage Arena, as members of the West Division of the Mid-American Conference. They finished the season 20–13, 11–7 in MAC play to finish in second place in the West Division. They advanced to the semifinals of the MAC tournament where they lost to Central Michigan. Despite having 20 wins, they were not invited to a postseason tournament.

The University of Toledo College of Law is the law school at the University of Toledo, and is located on the university's main campus in a residential neighborhood in western Toledo, Ohio. The school is fully accredited by the American Bar Association and is a member of the Association of American Law Schools.The College of Law offers a three-year, full-time program leading to a Juris Doctor degree. It also offers Certificates of Concentration, permitting a student to focus on a particular field of interest such as Criminal, Environmental, or International Law.According to the College of Law's official 2013 ABA-required disclosures, 48.3% of the class of 2013 obtained full-time, long-term, bar passage-required employment nine months after graduation, excluding solo-practitioners.

The University of Toledo (UToledo or UT) is a public research university in Toledo, Ohio. It is the northernmost campus of the University System of Ohio. The university also operates a 450-acre (180 ha) Health Science campus, which includes the University of Toledo Medical Center, in the West Toledo neighborhood of Toledo; a 160-acre (65 ha) satellite campus in the Scott Park neighborhood of Toledo; the Center for the Visual Arts is located in downtown Toledo at the Toledo Museum of Art; and a research and education facility, known as the Lake Erie Center, at Maumee Bay State Park. WXUT (88.3 FM) is a radio station broadcasting an alternative rock format. Licensed to Toledo, Ohio, the station serves the University of Toledo campus. WXUT shares the 88.3 frequency with WXTS-FM, which broadcasts when WXUT is off the air. The station is currently owned by the University of Toledo. In 1969, the "TU" radio station went by the call letters of WERC on an AM frequency of 680KHz (later 600Khz). In 1975 WERC was carried on Buckeye cablevision's Cable FM audio service on 90.1 CAFM and later 106.1 CAFM prior to moving to FM in 1988 and sharing the TPS frequency of 88.3 MHz.

The Glass Bowl is a stadium in Toledo, Ohio. It is primarily used for American football, and is the home field of the American football team of the University of Toledo Rockets. It is located on the school's Bancroft campus, just south of the banks of the Ottawa River. Known for its blend of old and new, it retains the traditional stonework around the field throughout all its expansions.

Ottawa Hills High School is a public high school in the village of Ottawa Hills, Ohio, United States, just west of Toledo. It is the only high school in the Ottawa Hills Local Schools district. The school's mascot is the Green Bears.

Ottawa is a neighborhood in west central Toledo, Ohio, bordered by Secor Road to the West, Dorr Street to the South, Central Ave. to the North, and Upton and Monroe to the East and North. ProMedica Toledo Hospital is a 794-bed non-profit hospital in Toledo, Ohio operated by ProMedica. The hospital is a Level I trauma center and the largest acute care hospital in the Toledo metropolitan area with at least 4,800 health care professionals, including more than 1,000 specialty and primary care physicians, making it the region's largest employer.The hospital's Toledo campus includes ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children's Hospital, a Level II pediatric trauma center with 151 beds, including a 72-bed newborn intensive care unit.Divisions of ProMedica Toledo Hospital include ProMedica Flower Hospital in Sylvania and ProMedica Wildwood Orthopaedic and Spine Hospital in Sylvania Township. In 2015, the University of Toledo entered into a 50-year agreement with ProMedica to affiliate the school's University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences with the hospital.
