Ham is a post-war suburb of Plymouth in the county of Devon, England. The population of the ward taken at the 2011 census was 13,294.

On 12 August 2021, a mass shooting occurred in Keyham, Plymouth, England. The gunman, 22-year-old Jake Davison from Plymouth, shot and killed five people (including his mother) and injured two others before fatally shooting himself. Devon and Cornwall Police have not identified a motive. The Home Office announced that it would issue updated guidelines for firearms licence applications. In February 2023, the inquest jury returned a verdict of unlawful killing of all of the victims.

Milehouse is a late Victorian and 1930s suburb of Plymouth. It is now notable for a substantial traffic junction, the vast depot base of the local city bus company, a Wetherspoons pub and an undertaker. Formerly it was famous for the site of Outland House, the large family home of Robert Falcon Scott, who led the tragic British expedition to the South Pole and died on the return journey. The area borders Plymouth's huge Central Park and is a meeting point for supporters and police before and after local football games at adjacent Home Park, the ground of Plymouth Argyle football club. It is a reputable area with good facilities and is convenient to the city centre, the nightlife zones, the parkland and the main road in and out of town.

Ford (Devon) railway station was originally named Ford railway station and stood at the eastern end of Station Road, Keyham Barton in Plymouth, South Devon.

Camels Head Halt railway station, named after a local public house in Plymouth, was opened as part of the city's suburban network by the London and South Western Railway in 1906, closing in 1942. It was located on the outskirts of the city in sight of the Great Western Railway main line that crossed the River Tamar by the Royal Albert Bridge.

Stoke Damerel Community College is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form located in Stoke, Plymouth, England. Stoke Damerel Community College was formed after the closure of Penlee Secondary Modern in the late 1980s. The school has recently had major building and refurbishment work completed to improve its entrance and create larger, more modern open spaces. Work included "The Street", a large central corridor to help congestion and provide a social area for the students, an extended library with over a hundred flat screen computers, a larger and better equipped Sixth Form common room and sports facilities. The school is on a hill with panoramic views of Plymouth and admits pupils from 11 to 18. The sixth form offers A levels, AS levels, and BTEC qualifications. The school has around 750 computers. The school became an academy in 2011.

The Mayflower Centre was a leisure centre in the city of Plymouth, Devon, England. It was situated in Central Park, close to Plymouth Argyle Football Club. The centre was originally built in 1971 as an exhibition centre for the 350th anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower; it was extended several times. In 1973 a four rink indoor bowls facility was built; this facility was home to one of the largest bowls clubs in the area. In 1979 an indoor five-a-side hall was added and as of 2006 there were over 100 teams competing in various leagues throughout the year. Four squash courts were added in 1980, two of which were later converted into a meeting training room and a kickboxing/martial art studio. The Mayflower Centre was home to English Basketball League team the Tamar Valley Cannons and was home to Plymouth Raiders from 1983 until their move to the Plymouth Pavilions in 1996. The Mayflower Centre was demolished to make way for the Plymouth Life Centre which opened in 2012.

Ford is a Victorian-built area of Plymouth, Devon, England. It lies 1.6 miles (2.6 km) north-west of the city centre, between the suburbs of Milehouse and Keyham. Between 1890 and 1964 the area was served by Ford railway station.

Devonport High School for Girls is a selective girls' state grammar school with academy status (ages 11–18) in Plymouth, England.

Keyham is a Victorian-built area of Plymouth in the English county of Devon. It was built to provide dense cheap housing just outside the wall of HM Dockyard Devonport for the thousands of civilian workmen. In the early-19th century, Devonport Dockyard was smaller than now; it was enlarged mid-century by Keyham Steam Yard - Keyham at that period was a suburb of Devonport itself. Keyham Steam Yard was one of the locations for the first trials of the Fairbairn patent crane.The development of housing was so rapid that HMS Hotspur, later renamed HMS Monmouth, was provided as a chapel ship for Roman Catholic services until the Roman Catholic Church of Our Most Holy Redeemer was built in 1901. That church was destroyed by fire following a bombing raid in 1941 and it was rebuilt in 1954.Parts of the southern end are now subject to massive redevelopment using a regeneration package. It has a railway station. Home Park is a football stadium in Plymouth, England. The ground has been the home of EFL Championship club Plymouth Argyle since 1901.After undergoing considerable development in the 1920s and 1930s, the ground suffered heavy damage in World War II. It reopened in time for the resumption of the Football League in 1945, and underwent further improvements in the 1950s, including the installation of floodlights and a new double-decker grandstand. The ground remained relatively unchanged until 2001, when construction of three new all-seater stands began. Temporary solutions saw the stadium become all-seater in the summer of 2007, before the Mayflower Grandstand, the oldest part of the ground, was redeveloped in 2019. The stadium's record attendance was in 1936, when 43,596 spectators watched the club play a Second Division match against Aston Villa. The record average attendance for a single season, 23,290, came in the 1946–47 season. The stadium was selected as part of England's 2018 FIFA World Cup bid by the FA in December 2009. The ground has played host to England youth internationals, and a UEFA Cup Winners' Cup match between Saint-Étienne and Manchester United in 1977. Home Park has also hosted Rugby union and athletics, and live music in the summer, with Elton John, George Michael and Rod Stewart among the acts who have performed at the ground.

Plymouth's Central Park is situated to the north-east of Plymouth city centre in south-west Devon, England. Covering 68 hectares, Central Park is the largest park in Plymouth. It was created in 1928 with the aim to improve the health of the city's residents. The park is trust land; developments on the land must be for the purpose of leisure activities.
