Vanderbeck House, also known as the Daughters of the American Revolution Chapter House, is a historic home located at Rochester in Monroe County, New York. It is a three-story brick structure with a slate-covered mansard roof and a foundation of sandstone blocks. It was built in 1874 in the Second Empire style. In 1959, the single family home was converted to offices and apartments.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The Sacred Heart Cathedral is a Catholic cathedral in Rochester, New York, United States. The renovated cathedral is the Mother Church of the Diocese of Rochester and seat of the diocesan bishop, as well as home to a parish community. Rochester School for the Deaf (RSD) is a private, tuition-free school for deaf and hard of hearing students to attend in Rochester, New York. It is one of the oldest and most respected preK-12th grade schools for children with hearing loss and their families in the United States, and one of nine such school in the state of New York. Serving the Central and Western portions of New York State, it has been educating students since 1876. Rochester School for the Deaf is an inclusive, bilingual school (Communication Philosophy) where deaf and hard of hearing children and their families thrive in an extraordinarily rich educational environment. The school's approach includes: New York State Regents-level educational programs; Direct communication through American Sign Language and English; Highly skilled teaching and support staff professionals; Inclusive, barrier-free approach to teaching and learning activities; and Support to students and their families through a wide array of accessible services.The intake evaluation process for deaf and hard of hearing children to attend RSD follows New York State Education Department procedures. Families in New York State with deaf and hard of hearing children – newborn to age 18 – can apply to RSD directly at any time. Parents of deaf and hard of hearing infants, toddlers and twos (children up to age 3) may request a referral to RSD from their county's Early Intervention program. Families with children age 3 to 5 can request a referral to RSD from their home school district's Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE). Families with children age 5 to 18 can request a referral to RSD from their school district's Committee on Special Education (CSE). RSD support service staff conducts comprehensive intake evaluations. Each school has its own board of directors and receives financial support for operations and programming directly from the New York State Department of Education. These eleven schools form the 4201 Schools Association of New York State. The mission of the Association is to enhance the future of New York's children and advocate for the continuation of specialized services.

All City High is located at 1305 Lyell Avenue in Rochester, New York. It is a program for students in the Rochester City School District who are ages 17-21 and want a smaller, semester-based school.

Maplewood Park, also known as Seneca Park West, is a landscaped public park in Rochester, New York, situated between Lake Avenue and the Genesee River. The two-mile-long (3.2 km) park features many trails along the river gorge and the river bank below, scenic views of two waterfalls and a nationally accredited Rose Garden. The park was laid out by landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, who also designed nearby Highland Park, Genesee Valley Park, and Seneca Park, which is now a zoo.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

The Aquinas Institute of Rochester is a co-educational Catholic school in Rochester, New York established in 1902. Although The Aquinas Institute was founded as an all-male high school, it opened to female students in 1982. It is located within City of Rochester. It has stood at its current location on Dewey Avenue since 1925. Over 18,000 have graduated since the school opening.

Eastman Business Park, formerly Kodak Park, is a large manufacturing and industrial complex in the city of Rochester, New York, in the United States. The complex is run by Eastman Kodak and is located 3 miles (5 km) north of downtown Rochester and 4 miles (6 km) south of Lake Ontario. The complex runs parallel to New York State Route 104 and Mount Read Boulevard for most of its length. Also part of the complex is the Kodak Center performing arts center and conference facility. Eastman Business Park is serviced by both CSX, via the Charlotte Running Track, and Norfolk Southern, via the Rochester and Southern Railroad. The plant also maintains an intra-plant railroad. It was formerly serviced by the Rochester Subway via the Dewey Avenue surface connection. The ashes of Eastman Kodak founder George Eastman are buried here.

The Veterans Memorial Bridge in Rochester, New York, carries New York State Route 104 (less well known as the Keeler Street Expressway) across the Genesee River. The bridge is an architecturally significant concrete arch faced with white granite. Conceived in 1928 and finished in 1931, the span is the longest bridge in Rochester at 981 feet (299 m). It is 190 feet (58 m) in height and 106 feet (32 m) wide. George J. Michelsen Furniture Factory is a historic factory located in the north-central neighborhood of Rochester, Monroe County, New York. It was built in 1914, and is a four-story, L-shaped brick building with a flat roof. It is of heavy timber frame construction and features large window openings. The building housed a bedroom furniture manufacturing concern until the late-1950s.: 3, 6 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

King's Landing Cemetery (also known as Hanford's Landing Cemetery) in Rochester, New York, was founded in 1798 at the site of the first European settlement in the Rochester area, and is the first cemetery to be established in the city. The cemetery is named after Gideon King, who came to the area in 1796, died two years later, and is buried in the cemetery with his two sons."King's Landing" refers to the landing point on the Genesee River, below the bluffs on which the cemetery is located. After the original settlement was disbanded in 1809, the area was resettled by seven brothers by name of Hanford, from Rome, New York, and thereafter came to be known as "Hanford's Landing".The cemetery is currently maintained by the Eastman Kodak Company. Many of the grave sites are unmarked, but some gravestones are scattered throughout the cemetery. A large monument at the front of the cemetery lists known graves by name and date of death. It was created in 2001 as part of a public-service project by Boy Scout Troop 68.

Holy Rosary Church Complex is a historic Roman Catholic church complex located in the Edgerton neighborhood of Rochester, Monroe County, New York. The complex consists of the church (1916), rectory (c. 1916), convent (1911), and two-story garage. All buildings in the complex are in a Spanish eclectic, Arts and Crafts style. The buildings are constructed of hollow tile brick and three feature their original Spanish clay tile roofs. The church features a rose window in the Mudéjar style similar to that of the Mission San Carlos Borromeo de Carmelo. The church also features a square brick bell tower in the southwest corner.The complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.
