The Sacred Heart Cathedral is a Catholic cathedral in Rochester, New York, United States. The renovated cathedral is the Mother Church of the Diocese of Rochester and seat of the diocesan bishop, as well as home to a parish community. The parish is currently known as the Cathedral Community at The Sacred Heart Cathedral.

Eastman Business Park, formerly Kodak Park, is a large manufacturing and industrial complex in the city of Rochester, New York, in the United States. The complex is run by Eastman Kodak and is located 3 miles (5 km) north of downtown Rochester and 4 miles (6 km) south of Lake Ontario. The complex runs parallel to New York State Route 104 and Mount Read Boulevard for most of its length. Also part of the complex is the Kodak Center performing arts center and conference facility. Eastman Business Park is serviced by both CSX, via the Charlotte Running Track, and Norfolk Southern, via the Rochester and Southern Railroad. The plant also maintains an intra-plant railroad. It was formerly serviced by the Rochester Subway via the Dewey Avenue surface connection. The ashes of Eastman Kodak founder George Eastman are buried here.

Vanderbeck House, also known as the Daughters of the American Revolution Chapter House, is a historic home located at Rochester in Monroe County, New York. It is a three-story brick structure with a slate-covered mansard roof and a foundation of sandstone blocks. It was built in 1874 in the Second Empire style. In 1959, the single family home was converted to offices and apartments.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The Maplewood Historic District is located in Rochester in Monroe County, New York. The district is distinguished as having landscape designs, including Maplewood Park, originally laid out by Frederick Law Olmsted.The district consists of 432 contributing structures and four contributing sites. They include 245 contributing primary buildings (234 houses, two apartments, three churches, two church-related residences, three buildings associated with a church school, and one recreational facility). There are also 187 contributing outbuildings (carriagehouses and garages). The four contributing sites are three parks and one archaeological site. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. In 2016 its boundaries were increased to take in more properties.

Maplewood Park, also known as Seneca Park West, is a landscaped public park in Rochester, New York, situated between Lake Avenue and the Genesee River. The two-mile-long (3.2 km) park features many trails along the river gorge and the river bank below, scenic views of two waterfalls and a nationally accredited Rose Garden. The park was laid out by landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, who also designed nearby Highland Park, Genesee Valley Park, and Seneca Park, which is now a zoo.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

The Aquinas Institute of Rochester is a co-educational Catholic school in Rochester, New York established in 1902. Although The Aquinas Institute was founded as an all-male high school, it opened to female students in 1982. It is located within City of Rochester. It has stood at its current location on Dewey Avenue since 1925. Over 18,000 have graduated since the school opening.

King's Landing Cemetery (also known as Hanford's Landing Cemetery) in Rochester, New York, was founded in 1798 at the site of the first European settlement in the Rochester area, and is the first cemetery to be established in the city. The cemetery is named after Gideon King, who came to the area in 1796, died two years later, and is buried in the cemetery with his two sons."King's Landing" refers to the landing point on the Genesee River, below the bluffs on which the cemetery is located. After the original settlement was disbanded in 1809, the area was resettled by seven brothers by name of Hanford, from Rome, New York, and thereafter came to be known as "Hanford's Landing".The cemetery is currently maintained by the Eastman Kodak Company. Many of the grave sites are unmarked, but some gravestones are scattered throughout the cemetery. A large monument at the front of the cemetery lists known graves by name and date of death. It was created in 2001 as part of a public-service project by Boy Scout Troop 68.

Rochester School for the Deaf (RSD) is a private, tuition-free school for deaf and hard of hearing students to attend in Rochester, New York. It is one of the oldest and most respected preK-12th grade schools for children with hearing loss and their families in the United States, and one of nine such school in the state of New York. Serving the Central and Western portions of New York State, it has been educating students since 1876. Rochester School for the Deaf is an inclusive, bilingual school (Communication Philosophy) where deaf and hard of hearing children and their families thrive in an extraordinarily rich educational environment. The school's approach includes: New York State Regents-level educational programs; Direct communication through American Sign Language and English; Highly skilled teaching and support staff professionals; Inclusive, barrier-free approach to teaching and learning activities; and Support to students and their families through a wide array of accessible services.The intake evaluation process for deaf and hard of hearing children to attend RSD follows New York State Education Department procedures. Families in New York State with deaf and hard of hearing children – newborn to age 18 – can apply to RSD directly at any time. Parents of deaf and hard of hearing infants, toddlers and twos (children up to age 3) may request a referral to RSD from their county's Early Intervention program. Families with children age 3 to 5 can request a referral to RSD from their home school district's Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE). Families with children age 5 to 18 can request a referral to RSD from their school district's Committee on Special Education (CSE). RSD support service staff conducts comprehensive intake evaluations. This service is free-of-charge and includes: Educational and Classroom Observation Psychological Assessment Speech/Language Assessment Audiological Assessment Social History Review Medical History Review Vocational AssessmentRochester School for the Deaf is one of eleven Section 4201 schools created by legislation to educate New York State's deaf, blind and severely physically disabled students. Each school has its own board of directors and receives financial support for operations and programming directly from the New York State Department of Education. These eleven schools form the 4201 Schools Association of New York State. The mission of the Association is to enhance the future of New York's children and advocate for the continuation of specialized services.

The Veterans Memorial Bridge in Rochester, New York, carries New York State Route 104 (less well known as the Keeler Street Expressway) across the Genesee River. The bridge is an architecturally significant concrete arch faced with white granite. Conceived in 1928 and finished in 1931, the span is the longest bridge in Rochester at 981 feet (299 m). It is 190 feet (58 m) in height and 106 feet (32 m) wide. Saint Bernard's Seminary is a historic former Catholic seminary complex located at Rochester in Monroe County, New York. The educational institution formerly inhabiting the complex changed its name to St. Bernard's Institute and moved to the campus of Colgate Rochester Divinity School in 1981 and was renamed again to St. Bernard's School of Theology and Ministry when it moved to a new campus on French Road in 2003. The original property was owned by Kodak between 1982 and 1992. It was eventually sold to a private developer and is now a senior citizen residential complex.

Seneca Park Zoo is a 20-acre (6.3 ha) zoo located in the city of Rochester, New York, US. The zoo is home to over 90 species including mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, fish, and arachnids. It is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). The zoo is operated by Monroe County, with support from the Seneca Park Zoo Society. The zoo opened in 1894 in Seneca Park.
