Welshpool is an inner southeastern suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located mostly within the City of Canning and partially within the Town of Victoria Park. The area is one of the main industrial areas of Perth, along with Kewdale, Kwinana Beach, Henderson, Malaga, O'Connor, Canning Vale and Osborne Park.It is the location of the Welshpool railway station. Welshpool is visually known for its 3 complexes of silo towers. These house storage of feed products for the poultry and agricultural industries. Welshpool is a traditional industrial suburb partly to the fact of its proximity to Perth Airport and short distance to the Perth CBD.

Kewdale is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia within the City of Belmont. Kew Street was one of the first roads in this district, hence the naming of the suburb.

Australian Islamic College is a multi-campus independent Islamic co-educational primary and secondary day school, located in Perth, Western Australia and Adelaide, South Australia. Belmont is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of Western Australia. Belmont is named for the inner eastern Perth suburb of Belmont, which falls within its borders. The seat was in its present incarnation considered a safe Labor seat prior to 2013, and was held by former Labor leader Eric Ripper; however, it fell to Liberal Glenys Godfrey in the Liberal landslide at the 2013 state election. Belmont reverted to its status as a safe Labor seat when Cassie Rowe won it at the 2017 state election.
