The Mill River is a tributary of the Saint George River in Thomaston, Maine. From the confluence (44°05′57″N 69°10′03″W) of Branch Brook and Meadow Brook, the river runs 2.7 miles (4.3 km) south to the head of the estuary of the Saint George.

The George Thorndike House is a historic house in Maine State Route 73 in South Thomaston, Maine. Built in 1855, it is one of the region's finest examples of Italianate architecture, its design attributed to Thomaston native Benjamin S. Deane. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Owls Head Transportation Museum is a working museum located at Owls Head, Maine. Beginning with a suggestion put forward by Thomas J. Watson Jr., CEO of IBM, who maintained a home nearby, the museum was established in 1974 by the Owls Head Foundation. Its stated mission is to collect, preserve, exhibit and operate pre-1940 aircraft, ground vehicles, engines and related technologies significant to the evolution of transportation for the purpose of education. At the time of its founding, their collection comprised two automobiles, two aircraft, a high-wheel bicycle and a 100-ton steam engine, but has now grown to approximately 125 objects.

The Rockland Turntable and Engine House are a historic railroad maintenance facility in Rockland, Maine. The turntable and engine house were built in 1921, and are a significant reminder of the railroad's historic importance to the development of the city. The facilities were listed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 24, 1993.

The East Branch Oyster River is a tributary of the Oyster River in Knox County, Maine. From its source (44°09′03″N 69°08′29″W) in Rockland, the stream runs 4.8 miles (7.7 km) southwest to its confluence with the main stem of the Oyster River, on the border between Warren and Thomaston.

The Gen. Davis Tillson House is a historic house at 157 Talbot Avenue in Rockland, Maine. Built in 1853, it is one of the region's finest examples of residential Gothic Revival architecture, and is unusual statewide for its execution in brick. It was built for Davis Tillson, a militia general during the American Civil War and a prominent local businessman, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
