Above Rocks is a town in the parish of Saint Catherine in Jamaica.Above Rocks was populated in the early 19th century by (Roman Catholic) refugees from the Haitian revolution. St Mary's College, a Catholic secondary school, can be found in the town of Above Rocks.

Temple Hall is a predominantly residential community in northern St Andrew, Jamaica. It is named after the estate and great house which it adjoins.It is bounded to the east by the Wag Water River and is essentially a linear settlement strung out along a short section of the A3 road at an elevation of about 1,000 feet (300 m).To the east of the river is a 1,699 feet (518 m) ridge and triangulation station which overlooks the settlement and is also called Temple Hall.

Saint Mary's College is a high school located in Above Rocks in Saint Catherine, Jamaica. It was founded in 1955 by its first principal, Father Edmund Cheney S.J. of St. Mary's Mission Catholic church. Currently, about 1000 students are enrolled. Like other Jamaican secondary schools, Saint Mary's College uses a selection process to accept students starting at seventh grade. Students must pass the Grade Six Achievement Test (formerly known as the Common Entrance Examination), and the Grade Nine Achievement Test.

Castleton Botanical Garden is a horticultural site of interest established in 1862 and located 19 miles from Kingston, Jamaica. Soon after their creation the gardens were "the most richly stocked in the Caribbean, boasting over 180 species of palm and at least 400 specimens of other flora".

Meadowbrook High School is a government-aided learning institution located in the suburbs of Kingston, Jamaica. It is co-educational, first-to-sixth form, secondary school located in the community of Meadowbrook in the parish of St. Andrew. It was founded on 13 March 1958 by the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. The school's four houses are named after individuals who were instrumental in the founding of the institution. Havendale is a suburban, neighborhood located in Kingston, Jamaica.

The Hermitage Dam is a concrete gravity dam on the Wag Water River near Stony Hill in Saint Andrew Parish, Jamaica. The primary purpose of the dam is to provide municipal water to nearby Kingston and Saint Andrew Parish. Construction on the dam began in 1924 and it was inaugurated on 4 May 1927. It is owned by the National Water Commission.

Norbrook is an upscale neighbourhood of the Kingston Metropolitan Area of Jamaica, with approximately 15,000 residents and is an important residential, shopping and commercial centre of the city itself. Norbrook is regarded as anywhere from the Immaculate Conception High School (in the South) to about 100m up "The Hill" (in the North). Norbrook was home to the Late Jamaican Prime Minister Edward Seaga. It is also home to famous and wealthy Jamaican musicians like Shaggy, and Jimmy Cliff. Norbrook has some of the most expensive and sought after homes in Jamaica, with some selling for over a million USD ($150,756,800 JMD). The median home prices can range from $500,000 to $1.8 million USD. There are many upscale hotels like Sparkle Luxury Vacation Rentals. It is quite close to other luxury neighborhoods like Stony Hill, Cherry Gardens and Jacks Hill. The Constant Spring Golf Course is located in Norbrook. The shopping Centre Khemlani Mart is also located in the Neighbourhood.

Troja railway station opened in 1896, closed in 1975, reopened in 1977 and closed for good in 1978. It was on the Bog Walk to Port Antonio branch line, 31 miles (50 km) from the Kingston terminus (in Jamaica), and served the surrounding agricultural community, providing a means for bananas to reach and be exported from Port Antonio. It was vandalised some time after closure.
