Unitarian Universalist Church (Stamford, Connecticut)

The Hoyt-Barnum House at 1508 High Ridge Road in Stamford, Connecticut, is a Cape Cod cottage style house that was built around 1699, and is the oldest extant house in the city of Stamford. The builder was a descendant of one of the original founders of Stamford. The large central chimney stack is made of field stone, laid up with only clay, animal hair, and straw. The house is braced timber frame construction or post and beam. The foundation is of field stone. The west room of the house is plastered. The east room has an exposed whitewashed frame, the hearth room walls are sheathed with wood paneling, showing the various interior finishing techniques incorporated into the house during its evolution.The house is now owned and maintained as a museum by the Stamford History Center (formerly known as Stamford Historical Society). It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1969. In 2017, it was moved from its original location at 713 Bedford Street to its new location next to the Stamford History Center where it is open for tours. Following the move it is the first structure permitted to remain on the National Register of Historic Places after being dismantled, relocated, and restored.

One Landmark Square, also known as Landmark Tower, or simply Landmark, is a 22-story, 295 ft (90 m) skyscraper located at One Landmark Square in Stamford, Connecticut. It is currently the third tallest building in Stamford, after Park Tower Stamford and Atlantic Station, and from 1970 to 1990 was the tallest building on the coast between New York City and Boston. It is currently the tallest office tower in Stamford. One Landmark Square was designed by Palestinian architect Victor Hanna Bisharat, who designed many other buildings in Downtown Stamford during the city's urban renewal efforts in the 1970s and 1980s.Bisharat designed the building after his own aesthetic preferences. It has been described as an imposing tower with a swooping form and scalloped-shaped entrances, and has been compared to the TWA Flight Center, designed by Eero Saarinen, and the Cathedral of Brasília, designed by Oscar Niemeyer.

The Suburban Club is a historic clubhouse at 6 Suburban Avenue/580 Main Street in Stamford, Connecticut. It is a three-story brick structure, topped by a flat roof that has a parapet and balustrade ringing it on three sides. The interior features elegant woodwork. The building was one of the first commissions by architects George F. Shepard and Frederick B. Stearns) who worked together until 1950 on many projects. It is architecturally significant as a Neo-Federal work in Stamford, and historically significant as one of the few buildings of the period to survive in downtown Stamford. The Suburban Club, founded in 1890, was a major social center for the city's elite until its closing in 1935.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

St. John's Protestant Episcopal Church is an historic church located at 628 Main Street in Stamford, Connecticut. The church is an English Gothic Revival structure, built in 1891 to a design by William Potter. It has buttressed stone construction, with a compound-arch entry and a large rose stained-glass window. The associated parish house, also a Gothic Victorian structure, was designed by Richard M. Upjohn and built in 1869–72.

Stamford Town Center is an urban shopping mall located in Downtown Stamford, Connecticut. The 761,000 square feet (70,700 m2) mall is the eighth largest in Connecticut, with space for about 130 stores and restaurants. The malls two anchors are a 250,000 square feet (23,000 m2) Macy's and a Barnes and Noble. An 80,000 square feet (7,400 m2) Todd English Food Hall is scheduled to open by 2024.

Congregation Agudath Sholom (CAS) is a historic Jewish synagogue in Stamford, Connecticut. The original synagogue building was later converted into a Christian church building, the Faith Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. It's one of multiple synagogues considered in a study of NRHP eligibility.

Stamford () is a city in Fairfield County, Connecticut, 34 miles (55 kilometers) outside of Manhattan. It is Connecticut's second-most populous city, behind Bridgeport. With a population of 135,470, Stamford passed Hartford and New Haven in population as of the 2020 census. As of 2019, Stamford is home to nine Fortune 500 companies and numerous divisions of large corporations. This gives it the largest financial district in the New York metropolitan region outside New York City and one of the nation's largest concentrations of corporations. Dominant sectors of Stamford's economy include financial services, tourism, information technology, healthcare, telecommunications, transportation, and retail. Its metropolitan division is home to colleges and universities including UConn Stamford and Norwalk Community College.

St. Andrew's Episcopal Church is a historic church at 1231 Washington Boulevard in Stamford, Connecticut. Built in 1860 and consecrated on May 8, 1861, Saint Andrew's Church was originally a mission of St. John's Church Stamford until its incorporation as a parish on June 12, 1865. Saint Andrew's was the first free church in the diocese where parishioners did not have to pay a pew rental fee. St. Andrew's was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 as St. Andrew's Protestant Episcopal Church. Its church and parish hall are fine examples of Gothic architecture designed by Henry Hudson Holly.

The Old Town Hall is located in the Downtown section of Stamford, Connecticut. It is located at the southwest corner of Main and Atlantic Streets, occupying a portion of a triangular block bounded on the south by Bank Street. The rest of the block is occupied by the modern portion of Stamford's city hall. The building is an elegant Beaux Arts structure, designed by the New York City firm of Mellon and Jossely and built in 1905.In the 1960s, city officials began to leave it for larger buildings. In the 1980s it was said to be abandoned, and left so for approximately 20 years. In 2001, with the help of state grants, the city began a renovation. In recent years, it has been rented to businesses as an office space.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 2, 1972.

The First Presbyterian Church of Stamford is a church in Stamford, Connecticut designed by architect Wallace K. Harrison. Nicknamed the Fish Church for its unusual shape, it is a unique example of modernist architecture, and an architectural landmark. Its 260-foot-tall (79 m) Maguire Memorial Tower holds a 56-bell carillon. The building was designated a National Historic Landmark for its architecture in 2021.

Park Tower Stamford (formerly known as Trump Parc Stamford, and temporarily as Parc Stamford) is a 36-story condominium property located at 1 Broad Street in Stamford, Connecticut. Real estate developers Thomas Rich and Louis R. Cappelli began planning the project as Park Tower in February 2006; it was renamed as Trump Parc Stamford later that year, after Donald Trump joined the project, and again renamed Park Tower Stamford following the 2021 storming of the United States Capitol. Trump Parc was initially rejected by the city, as it was considered too large for its 0.5-acre (0.20 ha) site. A revised, smaller version of the project was approved in November 2006, and a groundbreaking ceremony was held in May 2007. Construction was delayed twice in 2008, after several construction incidents. The building finally opened in September 2009 as the tallest building in Stamford. In 2015, during Trump's presidential campaign, Muslim groups in Stamford launched an unsuccessful attempt to have his name removed from the building after he proposed a temporary ban on Muslims entering the United States. However, the condo board ultimately declined to renew their contract with The Trump Organization after it expired in December 2020, and they renamed the building the following year.

Downtown Stamford, or Stamford Downtown, is the central business district of the city of Stamford, Connecticut, United States. It includes major retail establishments, a shopping mall, a university campus, the headquarters of major corporations and Fortune 500 companies, as well as other retail businesses, hotels, restaurants, offices, entertainment venues and high-rise apartment buildings. Since 2000, new development has consumed much of the Downtown area, with the additions of new high-rise buildings and office towers such as the 34-story Park Tower Stamford formerly Trump Parc Stamford, parks such as the new Mill River Park, and housing such as the new 17-story Highgrove Condominium Residences. Other development projects include new student housing at the UCONN Stamford branch, residential housing, and the planned Ritz-Carlton Stamford development, which will include two 39-story hotel/condominium towers. The city also plans to make improvements to the Atlantic Street underpass beneath the New Haven Line railroad tracks just east of the Stamford Transportation Center in order to alleviate a traffic bottleneck. The improvements are also meant to allow quicker evacuation of areas of the South End if disaster strikes. The project received a $245,000 earmark in the federal budget passed in December 2007.
