Riera de Carme (Carme River) (27 km) is a river in the Catalonia Region of Spain.

The Capellades Paper Mill Museum (Catalan: Museu Molí Paperer de Capellades) is a museum about paper located in the town of Capellades. The museum is located in an old paper mill called the Molí de la Vila. It is one of the most important museums in the world on the subject of papermaking. Its collection is based on a series of traditional papermaking machines and papers and documents from the 13th century. It is part of the Science and Technology Museum of Catalonia.

Capellades (Catalan pronunciation: [kəpəˈʎaðəs]) is a town in Catalonia, Spain, located in the south of the comarca of Anoia, some sixty metres above the Anoia river where it cuts through the Catalan Coastal Range. The C-15 trunk road from Vilafranca del Penedès and the FGC railway line R6 from Martorell and Barcelona run along the river valley below the town on their way to Igualada. It is about one hour from Barcelona by car, bus or train. Capellades is known for the manufacture of paper since the seventeenth century. A paper manufacturer in Capellades (established in 1714) specialised today in producing security paper is the oldest company in Spain. In the town there is also a Museum of Paper (Molí-Museu Paperer) housed in a converted papermill. There is a small amount of agriculture, both irrigated (market gardening) and non-irrigated (cereals, grapes, almonds), although the territory of the municipality is small. Textile and ceramic manufacture and tourism during the summer also contribute to the local economy. Munich (sport shoes) has its headquarters in Capellades. The site has been inhabited since the middle Paleolithic era (50000 years BP), and an archeological site just below the modern town, known locally as the Abric Romaní, is open to the public.

La Pobla de Claramunt is a municipality in the comarca of the Anoia in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the edge of the Òdena Basin at the entrance to the Capellades Gorge. The town is dominated by Claramunt castle, on a hilltop some 150 m above the modern settlement: the castle was, with Castellbell castle, one of the main points of control of access to the Llobregat valley and hence to Barcelona. With neighbouring Capellades, La Pobla de Claramunt is an important centre for paper manufacture. It is served by a station on the FGC railway line R6 from Barcelona and Martorell to Igualada and by the C-244 road from Igualada to Vilafranca del Penedès.

Carme is a municipality in the comarca of the Anoia in Catalonia, Spain. The town is in the middle of a valley, which is surrounded by the Orpinell range (751 m.) and the other by the Collbàs range (544 m.). The village is at the bottom of the valley and is surrounded by forests. The capital of the region of Anoia, Igualada, is just ten kilometers from the village, while other municipalities like La Pobla de Claramunt or Capellades are about five kilometers from the village. Currently the village has approximately 800 inhabitants, but in holiday seasons this figure may be slightly increased.

Vallbona d'Anoia is a municipality in the comarca of Anoia in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated to the left of the Anoia river, on the road between Piera and Capellades. The town is served by a station on the FGC railway line R6 from Barcelona and Martorell to Igualada.

Igualada is a railway station on the Llobregat–Anoia Line serving the city of the same name, in Catalonia, Spain. It is located adjacent to the bus station, in the southeastern part of town. The railway station is the northern terminus of the Igualada line branch and is served by commuter rail lines R6 and R60. Although the current station opened in 1978, a narrow gauge railway line from Martorell, predecessor of the current line, had already been serving the city since 1893. In 2015, it was announced that the current at-grade station is to be put underground together with a 300-metre-long (980 ft) line portion, removing the only level crossing in town.

The European Balloon Festival is the largest hot air balloon festival in Spain, and one of the largest in Europe. It takes place every year during the first fortnight of July in Igualada, Catalonia, Spain, a city located within 60 km from Barcelona. The festival lasts four days (Thursday to Sunday) and attracts thousands of spectators. It includes a hot air balloon competition and recreational exhibitions such as a night glow and fireworks. The flights take place early in the morning and late in the afternoon, when weather conditions are the optimal ones. It also offers visitors the opportunity to fly on a balloon, by booking a flight in advance. The festival is organized by the Igualada City Council, with technical support from the company Ultramagic, the world's second-largest manufacturer of hot air balloons, and Kon-Tiki Balloon Flights, a company specialized in balloon flights. The company merged with Royal Flight Tours in 2010, and operates flights from the south-eastern peninsula.

The Basilica of Santa Maria is the main temple and the most important historical building of Igualada, province of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Santa Maria church origin is from the 11th century, but the current building is mainly from the 17th century.

The Igualada Leather Museum (Catalan: Museu de la Pell d'Igualada), located in Igualada, Catalonia, was created in 1954 and was the first leather museum in Spain, and the third one in Europe. The collections are displayed in two nearby buildings in Igualada: the "Cal Boyer" building, a former cotton textile factory from the late 19th century, and the "Cal Granotes" building, an 18th-century tannery.
