Waldersea railway station

March Elm Road railway station is a proposed station in March, Cambridgeshire, which if successful, the Bramley Line will make as the southern terminus next to Elm Road Crossing. It was part of a branch of the Great Eastern Railway which ran from March to Watlington. The line closed in the 1960s, but a recent idea by the Wisbech and March Bramley Line to restore the line between Wisbech and March may see trains return to route in some form. However, the organisation would need to raise £10,000 to acquire the lease of the line and then set about repairing it to the required railways inspectorate standard. Additional funds to build this and other stations would then need to be raised by the small number of volunteers. No detailed costings for the additional work are available. Elm Road has never had a station before, and this would be the southern terminus to begin with. It is the intention in years to come, to try to get Heritage services into the disused platforms at March Station. At present no business case has been made public to suggest that there is a demand for a heritage railway in this area, nor have any concrete proposals or costings been drawn up to substantiate this scheme.

Coldham railway station was a station in Coldham, Cambridgeshire. It was on the branch of the Great Eastern Railway which ran from March to Watlington, Norfolk. The station opened in 1847, and in 1894 a porter was killed in an accident there.The station closed in 1966, the line closed for passengers in 1968 and for freight in 2000. Nothing remains of the former station, with the exception of the former toilet block, which is concealed by undergrowth which has built up since the station closed. A plan by the Bramley Line to restore the line between Wisbech and March may see trains return to Coldham in some form.

Coldham is a hamlet in Elm civil parish, part of the Fenland district of the Isle of Ely, Cambridgeshire, England. Coldham is the site of a wind farm on a large farm estate of the Cooperative Group near the settlement.The parish formerly had a church dedicated to St. Ethelreda built in 1876. Mrs E.B. Tanqueray, whose husband was Bertram Tanqueray, vicar of Coldham, wrote 'The Royal Quaker', a novel about Jane Stuart publisher in 1904 by Methuen. This church was declared redundant in 2000 and has since been converted into a house. The former war memorial from the church is now located at St Mark's, Friday Bridge. The settlement formerly had a railway station on the Great Eastern Railway, although there are proposals to reinstate a station as part of the Wisbech and March Bramley Line project.

Wisbech St Mary is a village in the Fenland District of Cambridgeshire, England. It is 2 miles (3 km) west of the town of Wisbech. It lies between two roads, the B1169 and the A47. The population of the civil parish (including Guyhirn and Thorney Toll) at the 2011 Census was 3,556.

Norwood Road is a nature reserve managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and Peterborough. It lies in the centre of the town of March in the county of Cambridgeshire.

Dunhams Wood is a privately owned broadleaved woodland that is occasionally open to the public. The area was planted over a period of 6 years starting in 1985. It is located approximately 2 miles (3 km) outside March, Cambridgeshire in Fenland. The area was initially owned by Margaret and Arthur Dunham, who opened the woodlands to the public during the summer. Treasure hunts and other games took place within the wood. A major feature of the wood is the Dunhams Wood Railway. There is a miniature railroad at 7.25-inch (184 mm) gauge with approximately 800 yards (730 m) of track that snakes through the woodland. The woodland has also been used as a venue for various events including wildlife viewing, photography and archery. Margaret and Arthur Dunham were interviewed for the BBC Radio 4 programme Breakfast with a Farmer in 1992. Following the death of Arthur Dunham on 13 January 2013, the woodland was closed to the public and offered for sale. It was sold in August 2014. Although the railway remains in the wood,

March railway station is on the Ely–Peterborough line in the east of England and serves the market town of March, Cambridgeshire. It is 85 miles 76 chains (138.3 km) measured from London Liverpool Street via Ely and is situated between Manea and Whittlesea stations. The station, which was opened in 1847, was once a major junction with a number of lines radiating from the town. The station has been the scene of a number of accidents including a double train crash in 1896.The station has since reduced in importance, with several lines being dismantled or mothballed. The regional route between Ely and Peterborough still runs through the station and an increasing number of freight trains pass through. The station originally had seven platforms. However, two of these are now filled-in bay platforms and the track has been removed from a further west-facing bay on the southern side of the station. There are now just two operational platforms, although track has been re-laid on two disused platforms on the northern side of the station and it is anticipated that these may be used should proposals to re-open the line to Wisbech come to fruition. The nearby Whitemoor marshalling yard returned to use in 2004 having been disused since the early 1990s. In 2021, a Victorian ledger dating back to April 1885 was found after it fell from the loft of the station when contractors were removing rotten wood work. The ledger is planned to go on display at the station. In March 2022, the station car park was resurfaced and repainted.

Norwood Road is a 2.6-hectare (6.4-acre) nature reserve in March in Cambridgeshire. It is managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.This site has a deep pond, marshland and hawthorn scrub. There are wetland birds such as coots, moorhens and mallards, and other wildlife includes noctule bats and weasels.There is access to the reserve from Norwood Road.

Friday Bridge is a village in the civil parish of Elm, in the Fenland district of Cambridgeshire, England. It is 3 miles south of Wisbech. In 2021 it had a population of 1412.

Fenland Hall is a municipal building on County Road, March, Cambridgeshire, England, which serves as the headquarters of Fenland District Council. The building was originally called "County Hall", and was built in 1908–1909 by Isle of Ely County Council to be its meeting place and offices.
