Redmond High School (Washington)

Washington's 45th legislative district is one of forty-nine districts in Washington state for representation in the state legislature. It extends from Kirkland on the west, to Duvall on the east, and Sammamish on the south. The district's legislators are state senator Manka Dhingra and state representatives Roger Goodman (position 1) and Larry Springer (position 2), all Democrats. On November 7, 2017, there was a special election to fill the district's state senate seat. Independent Parker Harris was eliminated in the top-two primary, and then Democrat Manka Dhingra defeated Republican Jinyoung Englund by 11 points, handing control of the Washington State Senate to the Democrats.

East Redmond was a short-lived town in King County, Washington that existed from 1956 to 1965. The town, then located to the east of Redmond in the Seattle metropolitan area, was formed as a result of a land use dispute between neighbors. East Redmond, with a population of fewer than 400 people, was found to have not met the state's minimum population requirement for incorporation and was dis-incorporated by a decision of the Washington Supreme Court in 1965.

Anderson Park is a public park in the city of Redmond, Washington. The site was acquired in 1928 as Redmond City Park before being expanded and improved through the economic response of the Federal Works Progress Administration in 1938. The park was given its present name in 1946, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.The official name of the park is Albert Anderson Memorial Park, often shortened to Anderson Park, or referred to by the original name of Redmond City Park. Albert Anderson was key to the modern redevelopment of the park through his community work regarding park projects and volunteer coordination. The main features of the park include a set of two cabins formerly used for public events and services, formerly hosting the Redmond Senior Center and various other city administrative offices prior to the development of city hall.

Downtown Redmond station is a future Link light rail station on the north side of Redmond Town Center shopping mall in downtown Redmond, Washington. It will be elevated located along Cleveland Street (SR 202) between 164th and 166th avenues.The station was originally included in the Sound Transit 2 ballot measure in 2008, but was left out of the East Link Extension after a funding shortfall stemming from the City of Bellevue's desire for a tunneled alignment under Downtown Bellevue. Sound Transit instead completed environmental reviews and selected a preferred alignment to Downtown Redmond, indefinitely deferring the final segment of East Link until a later date. The Sound Transit 3 ballot measure, passed in 2016, includes $1.1 billion in funding for the two stations in Downtown Redmond, which will open by 2024. Preliminary engineering on the Redmond extension was approved in February 2016, after being suspended in 2010.

SE Redmond station is a future Link light rail station near Marymoor Park in Redmond, Washington. The station would be located along the south side of State Route 520 southwest of its interchange with State Route 202 near Downtown Redmond. It would also include a 1,400-stall park and ride in a garage built on the site.The station was originally included in the Sound Transit 2 ballot measure in 2008, but was left out of the East Link Extension after a funding shortfall stemming from the City of Bellevue's desire for a tunneled alignment under Downtown Bellevue. Redmond Town Center is a mixed-use development and shopping center located in downtown Redmond, Washington. Owned and managed by Fairbourne Properties, Redmond Town Center has more than 110 shops, restaurants, lodging, and entertainment venues in an outdoor environment. It opened in 1997 on the site of a defunct municipal golf course along the north side of State Route 520.DRA Advisors and JSH acquired the retail component of the Redmond Town Center in 2013, shortly after Shorenstein Properties bought the office portion, which is occupied by Microsoft and AT&T. In late 2019, the retail portion was sold to Fairbourne Properties.

The Jerry Baker Memorial Velodrome is a 400-metre (1,300 ft) outdoor bicycle racing track located in Redmond, Washington. It was built in 1974 and was resurfaced in 2005. The current track racing surface is 400 meters in total length, with a maximum slope of 23 degrees in the corners. As such, the "Gentle Giant" is one of the longest in the country. Currently operated by the Marymoor Velodrome Association, the track hosted the US Master's Track National Championships in 2014.

The PSE Trail, also called the Puget Power Trail and the Redmond Powerline Trail, is an unpaved equestrian, pedestrian and mountain bike trail in Redmond, Washington. It links the Sammamish River Trail to Farrel-McWhirter Park.

Bear Creek is a tributary of the Sammamish River in King County, Washington, United States. The stream flows approximately 12.4 miles (20.0 km) from its source at Paradise Lake near Maltby to a confluence with the Sammamish River at Marymoor Park in Redmond. The creek has two tributaries, Cottage Lake Creek and Evans Creek, and a watershed of 32,100 acres (13,000 ha).The Marymoor Prehistoric Indian Site in Redmond shows human occupation in the vicinity of the creek with artifacts on its banks dating to 4,000 BCE.
