Zürcher Theater Spektakel

The Fraumünster (German pronunciation: [fʁaʊ̯ˈmʏnstɐ]; lit. in English: Women's Minster, but often wrongly translated to [Our] Lady Minster) is a church in Zürich which was built on the remains of a former abbey for aristocratic women which was founded in 853 by Louis the German for his daughter Hildegard. He endowed the Benedictine convent with the lands of Zürich, Uri, and the Albis forest, and granted the convent immunity, placing it under his direct authority. Today, it belongs to the Evangelical Reformed Church of the canton of Zürich and is one of the four main churches of Zürich, the others being the Grossmünster, Prediger and St. Peter's churches.

Wühre, also known as Wühre an der Limmat, is an historic pedestrian-only street in the Schipfe district of Zürich, Switzerland. It runs, along the left (western) side of the Limmat river, for around 0.1 miles (0.16 km), from Weinplatz in the north to Münsterbrücke (at Münsterhof and Stadthausquai) in the south. Hotel zum Storchen, at Weinplatz, is a popular destination for tourists. It is also a departure point for the Limmat river boat.

Die Altstadt (German for "the old town") in the Swiss city of Zürich encompasses the area of the entire historical city before 1893, before the incorporation of what are now districts 2 to 12 into the municipality, over the period 1893 to 1934. Die Altstadt approximately corresponds to the area enclosed by the former city ramparts, and is today within the administrative area of the city called Kreis 1 (District 1). With a population of 5,617 (as of 2015), it houses about 1.4% of the city's total population. Administratively, District 1 is divided into four parts or quarters by the Zürich statistical office, Rathaus (town hall), Hochschulen (universities), Lindenhof ("lime trees courtyard") and City. Lindenhof and Rathaus correspond to the parts of the medieval city left (west) and right (east) of the Limmat, respectively, while City and Hochschulen include the area of the Early Modern city west and east of the medieval walls, respectively.

Frauenbad Stadthausquai is a public bath in Zürich, Switzerland, forming part of the historical Seeuferanlage promenades that were built between 1881 and 1887. Situated at the Stadthausquai by the Bürkliplatz plaza, the bath was built for, and is still exclusively used by women (Frauenbad means "bath for women").

The Wellenberg Tower was possibly part of the early city fortifications of Zurich. It stood between today's Münster Bridge and the Quaibrücke at the height of Schifflände Square on the Limmat and was only accessible by boat.

The Zunfthaus zur Waag, in Zurich, Switzerland, was the guild house of the Zunft zur Waag. Completed in 1315, it is one of the many historically valuable buildings in the city's Lindenhof quarter. It is situated on the northwestern side of Münsterhof, the largest public square in Zurich. The building is now Restaurant Zunfthaus zur Waag.

Münsterbrücke is a pedestrian and road bridge over the Limmat in the city of Zürich, Switzerland. It is listed in the Swiss inventory of cultural property of national and regional significance. It is indirectly named after two Münster (minsters), the Fraumünster and Grossmünster.

Bauschänzli is an artificial island, town square, and public park in Zürich, Switzerland. Bauschänzli (diminutive of "construction entrenchment") is one of the last remains of the Baroque fortifications of Zürich which began in 1642. The neighboring Schanzengraben (moat) and the Old Botanical Garden are part of these remains. Since 1907, the island has been used as a restaurant, although it is officially a public square and park.

The Wasserkirche ("Water Church") of Zürich, first mentioned as ecclesia Aquatica Turicensi around 1250 and as wazzirkilcha in 1256, is a church built on a small island in the Limmat, situated between the two main churches of medieval Zürich, the Grossmünster and the Fraumünster, at the Limmatquai and the Münsterbrücke.

The Zunfthaus zur Zimmerleuten at the Limmatquai promenade in Zürich, Switzerland, situated between Münsterbrücke and Rathausbrücke, is the guild house of the Zunft zur Zimmerleuten, meaning the guild of the carpenters. Neighboured by the Saffran, Kämbel and Rüden guild houses, it is one of the city's historically notable buildings. The building also houses the relatively expensive restaurant of the same name.

Baur en Ville, now the Savoy Baur en Ville, is the oldest Grand Hotel in Zürich, Switzerland. It was founded in 1838 and is located on Poststrasse on the eastern side of Paradeplatz. It has belonged to Credit Suisse for several decades. The hotel includes the two restaurants, Baur and Orsini, as well as the Savoy Bar.

The Haus zum Rüden (or for short: Rüden) building is the assembly hall of the Gesellschaft zur Constaffel and one of the historically notable buildings in Zürich, Switzerland. It is situated at the Limmatquai promenade in Zürich, Switzerland, opposite of the Münsterhof plaza respectively the Zunfthaus zur Meisen, and neighboured by the Zimmerleuten, Kämbel and Saffran guild houses.
