Penysarn

Gadfa is a hamlet in the community of Llaneilian, Anglesey, Wales, which is 140 miles (225.3 km) from Cardiff and 218.8 miles (352.1 km) from London. The dispersed settlement has a scatter of buildings mainly along and to the west of the A5025, with a smaller number on the eastern side of the road.

Nebo is a hamlet in the community of Llaneilian, Anglesey, in north-west Wales. It is 140.1 miles (225.4 km) from Cardiff and 218.6 miles (351.8 km) from London. The village is 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) east of Penysarn, near the top of a hill known as Mynydd Nebo.

The A5025 is an 'A' road that runs from Llanfairpwllgwyngyll to Valley in Anglesey, Wales. A major road around the north coast of the isle, it runs up the east, north and finally north-west side of the island via several places including Benllech and Amlwch. In all the road is 33.1 miles (53.3 km) long.

Pengorffwysfa is a village in Anglesey, in north-west Wales. It is one of several dispersed settlements in the central area of Llaneilian Community, north of Penysarn and south of Llaneilian village. The village lies on the crossroad between Penysarn and Porth Eilian and Point Lynas Lighthouse, with turnings down towards Amlwch Port and Amlwch town, and the ascent for Llaneilian Mountain and heading towards Dulas Bay. This road forms part of the National Cycle Network Route 566, known as the Copper Trail, taking in the north coast of Anglesey that is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the nearby remains of the historical copper mines at Parys Mountain. The village has a Calvinist chapel, Capel Seilo, built in 1835 to replace a smaller chapel built in 1826. The Chapel closed in 1999 with services continuing in the adjoining Sunday school rooms built in 1896

Cerrig Mân is a village in Anglesey, in north-west Wales, in the community of Llaneilian and the electoral ward of Twrcelyn. It is located a mile north of Penysarn and a mile south of Amlwch.

Llaneuddog is a hamlet in the community of Llaneilian, Ynys Môn, Wales. It lies along the A5025 road, between Brynrefail and Penysarn, near Dulas. It belonged to the historical parish of Llanwenllwyfo, now part of Llaneilian. The hamlet takes its name from an ancient chapel to St Euddog which was in the vicinity of the A5025. It was recorded in 1920 as having the stones re-used in farm buildings, and the water stoup used as a pig trough at nearby Lligwy. The presumed site is a small enclosure with a crescent-shaped bank thought to be the churchyard boundary.One of the prominent buildings near the Llaneuddog crossroads is Sardis Baptist Chapel. First built in 1834, it was rebuilt in 1905 at the height of the 1904–1905 Welsh revival. The 1919 Memoirs of the Geological Survey of England & Wales suggests that in the early part of the 20th century there was a brickworks in the area.

St Gwenllwyfo's Church is a 19th-century parish church near the village of Dulas, in Anglesey, Wales. It was built between 1854 and 1856 to replace an earlier church in the parish, also dedicated to St Gwenllwyfo, which needed repair and had become too small for its congregation. The new church was built nearer to the Llys Dulas estate, whose owner contributed £936 towards the total cost of £1,417, rather than near the area where many of the parishioners lived. In 1876, Sir Arundell Neave (who had married into the family that owned Llys Dulas) donated 27 panels of 15th and 16th-century stained glass that had once belonged to a Flemish monastery. The church is still used for worship by the Church in Wales, one of four in the parish of Amlwch. It is a Grade II* listed building, a national designation given to "particularly important buildings of more than special interest", in particular because of its "fine collection" of stained glass.

Dulas (Welsh pronunciation) or City Dulas is a village in Anglesey, in north-west Wales. It is situated on the A5025 road, near the coast (Dulas Bay) at only 5 metres (16 ft) above sea level. It is in the community of Llaneilian.

Parys Mountain Windmill is a Grade II listed building located on the highest point of Parys Mountain near Amlwch, Anglesey, Wales. The structure was built in 1878 to assist a local copper mine in the removal of water from mine shafts. It was the last tower mill built in Wales. The windmill remained in use until the mine's closure in 1904.

Llaneilian (Welsh: [ɬanˈei̯ljan]) is a village and community in Anglesey, Wales. It is located in the north east of the island, 2.2 miles (3.5 km) east of Amlwch, 16.5 miles (26.6 km) north west of Menai Bridge and 12.5 miles (20.1 km) north of Llangefni. The community includes the villages and hamlets of Dulas, Llaneilian, Pengorffwysfa, Cerrig Man and Penysarn, Gadfa and Nebo, and at the 2001 census had a population of 1,192, decreasing slightly to 1,186 at the 2011 Census. The parish is crowned by its hill, Mynydd Eilian (177 metres), a HuMP, popular with walkers and ramblers (the Anglesey Coastal Path navigates most of the parish's coastline - all of which within the Anglesey Coastal Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), and its beach, Traeth Eilian, which is popular with holidaymakers and for watersport activities. At the north easternmost point is Point Lynas, (on a clear day from the north coast of Anglesey the Isle of Man is visible with the streetlights of Douglas, Isle of Man visible on the horizon), while Ynys Dulas lies off the North East coast of the island, east of Dulas Bay.

Amlwch (Welsh: [ˈamlʊχ]) is a port town and community in Wales. It is situated on the north coast of the Isle of Anglesey, on the A5025 which connects it to Holyhead and to Menai Bridge. As well as Amlwch town and Amlwch Port, other settlements within the community include Burwen, Bull Bay (Porthllechog) and Pentrefelin. The town has a beach in Llaneilian, and it has significant coastal cliffs. Tourism is an important element of the local economy. At one time it was a booming mining town that became the centre of a vast global trade in copper ore. The harbour inlet became a busy port and significant shipbuilding and ship repair centre, as well as an embarkation point with boats sailing to the Isle of Man and to Liverpool. The community covers an area of about 15 square kilometres.
