Kvutzat Shiller (Hebrew: קבוצת שילר), also known as Gan Shlomo (Hebrew: גַּן שְׁלֹמֹה, lit. Solomon's Garden) is a kibbutz in central Israel. Located in the Shephelah near Rehovot, it falls under the jurisdiction of Brenner Regional Council. In 2019 it had a population of 578.

Gibton (Hebrew: גִּבְּתוֹן, lit. Finch) is a moshav in central Israel. Located near Rehovot, it falls under the jurisdiction of Brenner Regional Council. In 2019 it had a population of 369.

Givat Brenner (Hebrew: גִּבְעַת בְּרֶנֶר, lit. Brenner Hill; Arabic: غفعات برينر), is a kibbutz in the Central District of Israel. Located around two kilometres south of Rehovot, it falls under the jurisdiction of Brenner Regional Council. Founded in 1928, it is named after writer Yosef Haim Brenner, who was killed in the Jaffa riots of 1921. In 2019 it had a population of 2,678. It is the largest kibbutz in Israel.

The Peres Academic Center (Hebrew: המרכז האקדמי פרס Ha-Merkaz ha-Akademi Peres) is a private, not-for-profit, nonsectarian college in Rehovot, Israel. It was founded in 2006 by Ofra Elul. The president of the Center is Prof. Amos Drory and the rector is Prof. Ron Shapira. In 2008 it was recognized by the Council for Higher Education in Israel.in 2013 former US president Bill Clinton gave a speech in the Center.

Brenner Regional Council (Hebrew: מועצה אזורית ברנר, Mo'atza Azorit Brenner; Arabic: المجلس الإقليمي برنر), is a regional council in the Central District of Israel. It is located in the coastal plain, in the vicinity of Rehovot and Yavne. The council is named after writer Yosef Haim Brenner, killed in the Jaffa riots of 1921. The Council was established in 1950, with a jurisdiction of 36,000 dunams. As of 2007, the six communities in the council (two kibbutzim and four moshavim) are home to approximately 6,000 inhabitants.

Al-Qubayba (Arabic: القبيبة) was a Palestinian Arab village in the Ramle Subdistrict. It was depopulated during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War on May 27, 1948, by the Givati Brigade as part of the Second stage of Operation Barak. It was located 10.5 km southeast of Ramla near the Rubin River (or Wadi al-Sarar) which provided the village with water and irrigation for agriculture. Al-Qubayba was mostly destroyed with the exception of a few houses, and Kfar Gevirol was built in its place, now a suburb in the west of Rehovot.

Ge'alya, sometimes written Galia (Hebrew: גְּאַלְיָה), is a moshav in central Israel. Located in the coastal plain and covering 2,000 dunams, it falls under the jurisdiction of Gan Raveh Regional Council. In 2019 it had a population of 973.

Rehovot (Hebrew: רְחוֹבוֹת Rəḥōvōt, Arabic: رحوڤوت Reḥūfūt) is a city in the Central District of Israel, about 20 kilometers (12 miles) south of Tel Aviv. In 2019 it had a population of 143,904.

Kaplan Medical Center (Hebrew: מרכז רפואי קפלן, Merkaz Refu'i Kaplan) is a hospital in Rehovot, Israel, located in the south of the city next to Bilu Junction. It is owned and operated by Clalit Health Services.

Highway 42 is a north-south highway in central Israel. It leads from just south of Ashdod Interchange in the south to Gan Rave interchange in the north. The road is 19 km (12 mi) long.

Route 411 (Hebrew: כביש 411), is the designation of a regional route in the Shephelah region in Israel running southeasterly consolidating previous local roads and new construction. The western section begins at Highway 42 near Kfar Gevirol in western Rehovot and continues just past Route 410. The central section, completed in June 2014, continues to the entrance of Kvutzat Shiller. The eastern section begins just short of Highway 40 south of Rehovot and terminates at Highway 3 towards Jerusalem, bypassing the towns of Kiryat Ekron and Mazkeret Batya.

Rehovot railway station (Hebrew: תחנת הרכבת רחובות, Taḥanat HaRakevet Rehovot) is an Israel Railways station located in the city of Rehovot. It serves the city, the Weizmann Institute of Science and the nearby science industries park, as well as the city of Ness Ziona. The station is named after Ehud Hadar, CEO of Israel Railways between 1994 and 1996.
