WestWorld of Scottsdale, popularly shortened to WestWorld, is a premier, internationally recognized, multi-use events facility in Scottsdale, Arizona. Westworld annually hosts the Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auction as well as conventions, trade shows, concerts, equestrian shows and other events. It is located on 386 acres at the base of the McDowell Mountains. It was built in stages starting in 1987 on land owned by the United States Bureau of Reclamation and consists of the following facilities: A 120,460-square-foot (11,191 m2) Multi-Purpose Tent which is the largest clear span tent structure in North America and measures up to 89 feet from floor to ceiling. The 330,000 square feet (30,658 m2) climate controlled Tony Nelson Equestrian Center which includes a 120,000 square feet (11,148 m2), 3,400 permanent seat Equidome, 117,000 square feet (10,870 m2) North exhibition hall and 37,000 square feet (3,437 m2) South exhibition hall. In 2013, the company reported US$221 million in revenue. Most distributors were in their twenties. The company had frequently been accused of being a pyramid scheme by U.S. media, business analysts, and former distributors, and was fined by the Italian government.

Mosrite is an American guitar manufacturing company, based in Bakersfield, California, from the late 1950s to the early 1990s. Founded by Semie Moseley, Mosrite guitars were played by many rock and roll and country artists. Mosrite guitars were known for innovative design, high-quality engineering, very thin, low-fretted and narrow necks (though Mosrite used taller frets and wider necks after the 1960s,) and extremely hot (high output) pickups. Moseley's design for The Ventures, known as "the Ventures model" (later known as the "Mark I") was generally considered to be the flagship of the line. Mosrite also made a small number of acoustic guitars; The Serenade model, and four Balladere models, including one 12 string.

TPC Scottsdale is a 36-hole golf complex in the southwestern United States, located in Scottsdale, Arizona, northeast of Phoenix. Opened 37 years ago in 1986, the resort is part of the Tournament Players Club network of golf courses operated by the PGA Tour. The Stadium Course has been home to the tour's annual Phoenix Open since 1987.

The Phoenix Open (branded as the WM Phoenix Open for sponsorship reasons) is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour, held in late January/early February at TPC Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Arizona. The tournament was originally the Arizona Open, but was known for most of its history as the Phoenix Open until the investment bank Friedman Billings Ramsey became the title sponsor in October 2003, and it was known as the FBR Open for the next six editions. Waste Management, Inc. began its sponsorship in 2010. The event's relaxed atmosphere, raucous by the standards of professional golf, has earned it the nickname "The Greatest Show on Grass" and made it one of the most popular events on the PGA Tour calendar.

Scottsdale Airport (IATA: SCF, ICAO: KSDL, FAA LID: SDL) is a municipal airport located 9 miles (7.8 nmi; 14 km) north of downtown Scottsdale, in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. Most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, but Scottsdale Airport is SDL to the FAA and SCF to the IATA (which assigned SDL to Midlanda Airport in Sundsvall, Sweden).Federal Aviation Administration records say the airport had 4,798 passenger boardings (or enplanements) in calendar year 2005 and 266 enplanements in 2006. The FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2007–2011 called Scottsdale a reliever airport. It is one of the busiest single-runway general aviation airports in the nation with 186,514 operations in 2019. The airport offers clearance, ground and tower services from 1300Z to 0400Z (6 am to 9 pm local time) daily.U.S. Customs service is available daily from 9 am to 7 pm. This allows visitors from all over the world to come to Scottsdale with proper visas. Neighbors’ complaints about aircraft noise around the airport increased beginning in 2004, peaking in 2005 with over 15,000 complaints being logged. In 2019, complaints decreased significantly to 1,919 complaints. It is unlikely that the airport would close, due to federal grant assurances and its tremendous economic impact. Scottsdale Airport is an important economic asset for Scottsdale and the region, contributing hundreds of millions of dollars in economic output. Aviation activity at the airport and in the surrounding airpark created $688 million in total economic benefits for the region in FY2019, with aviation activity supporting around 3,979 jobs. Economic benefits of $1.9 million are created daily.

Arizona's 6th congressional district is a congressional district located in the U.S. state of Arizona and encompasses all of Greenlee County, most of Cochise County, and parts of Pima County, Pinal County and Graham County. Most of its population resides in suburbs of Tucson, including Oro Valley, Marana, Green Valley, and Vail. The district is currently represented by Republican Juan Ciscomani. The Fort Huachuca installation is located in Cochise County, approximately 15 miles (24 km) north of the Mexican border, and is within the city of Sierra Vista.

Taliesin West was architect Frank Lloyd Wright's winter home and studio in the desert from 1937 until his death in 1959 at the age of 91. Today, it is the headquarters of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. Open to the public for tours, Taliesin West is located on Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard in Scottsdale, Arizona. The complex drew its name from Wright's home, Taliesin, in Spring Green, Wisconsin.
