TPC Scottsdale is a 36-hole golf complex in the southwestern United States, located in Scottsdale, Arizona, northeast of Phoenix. Opened 37 years ago in 1986, the resort is part of the Tournament Players Club network of golf courses operated by the PGA Tour. The Stadium Course has been home to the tour's annual Phoenix Open since 1987.

The company was shut down in 2015 by the FTC for engaging in deceptive practices and pyramid scheming.The company, based in Tempe, Arizona, was founded in 2004 by Benson K., Lauren, and Karen Boreyko. In 2013, the company reported US$221 million in revenue. Most distributors were in their twenties. The company had frequently been accused of being a pyramid scheme by U.S. media, business analysts, and former distributors, and was fined by the Italian government.

The Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC, or simply Fender) is an American manufacturer and marketer of musical instruments and amplifiers. Fender produces acoustic guitars, bass amplifiers and public address equipment; however, it is best known for its solid-body electric guitars and bass guitars, particularly the Stratocaster, Telecaster, Jaguar, Jazzmaster, Precision Bass, and the Jazz Bass. Mosrite is an American guitar manufacturing company, based in Bakersfield, California, from the late 1950s to the early 1990s. Founded by Semie Moseley, Mosrite guitars were played by many rock and roll and country artists. Mosrite guitars were known for innovative design, high-quality engineering, very thin, low-fretted and narrow necks (though Mosrite used taller frets and wider necks after the 1960s,) and extremely hot (high output) pickups. Moseley's design for The Ventures, known as "the Ventures model" (later known as the "Mark I") was generally considered to be the flagship of the line. Mosrite also made a small number of acoustic guitars; The Serenade model, and four Balladere models, including one 12 string.

Scottsdale Airport (IATA: SCF, ICAO: KSDL, FAA LID: SDL) is a municipal airport located 9 miles (7.8 nmi; 14 km) north of downtown Scottsdale, in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. Most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, but Scottsdale Airport is SDL to the FAA and SCF to the IATA (which assigned SDL to Midlanda Airport in Sundsvall, Sweden).Federal Aviation Administration records say the airport had 4,798 passenger boardings (or enplanements) in calendar year 2005 and 266 enplanements in 2006. The FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2007–2011 called Scottsdale a reliever airport. It is one of the busiest single-runway general aviation airports in the nation with 186,514 operations in 2019. The airport offers clearance, ground and tower services from 1300Z to 0400Z (6 am to 9 pm local time) daily.U.S. Customs service is available daily from 9 am to 7 pm. This allows visitors from all over the world to come to Scottsdale with proper visas. Neighbors’ complaints about aircraft noise around the airport increased beginning in 2004, peaking in 2005 with over 15,000 complaints being logged. In 2019, complaints decreased significantly to 1,919 complaints. It is unlikely that the airport would close, due to federal grant assurances and its tremendous economic impact. Scottsdale Airport is an important economic asset for Scottsdale and the region, contributing hundreds of millions of dollars in economic output. Aviation activity at the airport and in the surrounding airpark created $688 million in total economic benefits for the region in FY2019, with aviation activity supporting around 3,979 jobs. Economic benefits of $1.9 million are created daily.

Kierland Commons is a lifestyle center in Phoenix, Arizona, adjacent to Scottsdale, Arizona which is used for the center's mailing addresses. The mixed-use development is centered on a "Main Street" feel and composed mostly of outdoor retail shops with residential units above and adjoining residential tower.

The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa is a luxury hotel located in the Kierland neighborhood of Phoenix, Arizona. The 11 story hotel opened in 2002 and has 735 rooms. The hotel serves as the centerpiece of the Kierland area with the Kierland Golf Club and Kierland Commons Lifestyle Center. Originally managed by Starwood Hotels and Resorts it is now part of the Marriott portfolio.

WestWorld of Scottsdale, popularly shortened to WestWorld, is a premier, internationally recognized, multi-use events facility in Scottsdale, Arizona. Westworld annually hosts the Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auction as well as conventions, trade shows, concerts, equestrian shows and other events. Scottsdale Preparatory Academy is a charter school in Scottsdale, Arizona owned by Great Hearts Academies. It serves grades 6 to 12. It moved to a different campus in the 2011–2012 school year, also accommodating the fifth grade portion of GHA's Scottsdale Archway Academy. The school is a member of the Great Hearts Academies. The first senior class graduated in the 2011–2012 school year.

Phoenix Film Festival is a festival that celebrates feature films, documentaries, shorts films and their creators. Started in 2001, the annual celebration takes place in the city of Phoenix, Arizona. The Festival is run under the umbrella of the 501(c)3 non-profit Phoenix Film Foundation. The Phoenix Film Festival is the largest attended festival in Arizona and is held in luxurious Harkins Scottsdale 101 Theatre. The festival is all held in one location and is well known for its relationships with filmmakers. The festival hosts over 275 screenings, parties, and workshops over eleven days and has hosted many notable members of the film industry such as Kevin Bacon, Bo Burnham, Demetri Martin, Kyra Sedgwick, Laurence Fishburne, Edward James Olmos and Danny Trejo. The festival boasted Arizona premieres of Coda, Chevalier, Renfield, Eighth Grade, Boyhood, Won't You Be My Neighbor, and so many more. The festival also boasts a robust educational program for students of all ages.
