The Engadin or Engadine (Romansh: ; German: ; Italian: Engadina; French: Engadine) is a long high Alpine valley region in the eastern Swiss Alps in the canton of Graubünden in southeasternmost Switzerland with about 25,000 inhabitants. It follows the route of the Inn (Romansh: En) from its headwaters at Maloja Pass in the southwest running roughly northeast until the Inn flows into Austria, little less than one hundred kilometers downstream. The En/Inn subsequently flows at Passau into the Danube, making it the only Swiss river to drain into the Black Sea. The Engadine is protected by high mountain ranges on all sides and is famous for its sunny climate, beautiful landscapes and outdoor activities.

The Flaz is a river in the Swiss region of Engadin. The Flaz starts at the confluence of Bernina with Roseg; after that Flaz flows in the territory of Pontresina and Samaden where its waters reaches the Inn.

Bever railway station is a railway station in the municipality of Bever, in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It is located at the junction of the 1,000 mm (3 ft 3+3⁄8 in) metre gauge Albula and Bever–Scuol-Tarasp lines of the Rhaetian Railway. It is located to the southwest of the village of Bever at 1710 m above sea level. The station is normally served only by the passenger trains that operate on the Engadine line.

Muottas Muragl (2,454 m) is a location on the southern slopes of the Blais da Muottas (2,568 m), a summit at the western end of the range descending from Piz Vadret, in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It overlooks the Engadin, between the towns of Samedan, St. Moritz and Pontresina. The mountain is within the municipality of Samedan. Muottas Muragl is accessible by a funicular railway, between Celerina and Pontresina, the Muottas-Muragl-Bahn, from the train stations Punt Muragl and Punt Muragl Staz, both served by the Rhaetian Railway. Muottas Muragl includes a hotel and a panoramic restaurant.

La Punt Chamues-ch (Romansh pronunciation: [lɐ ˈpʊnt tɕaˈmweːʃtɕ] ; Italian and official name until 1943: Ponte-Campovasto) is a municipality in the Maloja Region in the Swiss canton of Graubünden.

The Albula Pass (Romansh: Pass d'Alvra or , German: Albulapass) (el. 2312 m) is a Swiss mountain pass in the canton of Graubünden. It lies at the heart of the Albula Alps, on the watershed between the Albula, tributary of the Rhine and the Ova d'Alvra, tributary of the Inn. Overlooking the pass are the ranges of Piz Üertsch (north) and Crasta Mora (south).The Albula Pass is an important axis from central Graubünden to Engadin. It is traversed by a paved road from Thusis to La Punt, via Bergün. It is also traversed by the Albula Railway, although at a lower elevation through the Albula Tunnel (1,820 m), from Thusis to Bever, also via Bergün. On the summit of the pass is a hospice. East of the pass, on the Engadin side, is a lake named Albulasee (2,294 m) which is 4.2 ha large. West of the pass, at a further distance, is the larger Lai da Palpuogna, a popular stop on the Albula road. Punt Muragl railway station is a railway station in the municipality of Samedan, in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It is located on the Samedan–Pontresina line of the Rhaetian Railway.The station has a single through track and a single platform with a waiting shelter. An adjacent industrial premise has a private siding.A short distance from the station is the valley station of the Muottas-Muragl-Bahn, a funicular railway that ascends to the summit of Muottas Muragl. Punt Muragl Staz railway station, on the Bernina line of the Rhaetian Railway, is located on the other side of the river Flaz and accessible by a bridge.
