The Herbfarm is an American restaurant serving Pacific Northwest cuisine and an early practitioner of local food. This is a philosophy that promotes the growing, enjoyment, and consumption of foods from a limited region. The Herbfarm is located outside Seattle, Washington, in the city of Woodinville. It was one of the first modern restaurants in America to focus solely on preparing regional foods from local sources. Other well-known practitioners include Alice Waters' Chez Panisse in Berkeley, California, the Sooke Harbour House in British Columbia, and Odessa Piper's L'Etoile in Madison, Wisconsin. Like those restaurants, it is a member of Slow Food, an international movement to preserve artisanal food. The Herbfarm began not as a restaurant but as an herbal nursery in 1974. In 1986, Ron Zimmerman joined the establishment along with his wife, Carrie Van Dyck. That year they converted a farm garage into a small restaurant and named it The Herbfarm. In January 1997, a fire destroyed the restaurant. Difficulties in securing building permits caused the Zimmermans to move in 1999 to the Hedges Wine Cellars in Issaquah, Washington. The Herbfarm opened in current Woodinville quarters in 2001. Jerry Traunfeld, winner of the 2000 James Beard Award for "Best American Chef: Northwest and Hawaii" was the executive chef from July 1990 to November 2007. He is the author of The Herbfarm Cookbook and The Herbal Kitchen: Cooking with Fragrance and Flavor. Traunfeld has appeared on Martha Stewart Living, Better Homes and Gardens, The Splendid Table, and other American television and radio programs. As of 2018, Chris Weber was the youngest chef, of any of America's 47 5-Diamond restaurants.

Hollywood Farm was a 206-acre dairy farm in the Sammamish Valley, approximately 25 miles northeast of Seattle. It was built in 1910 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. The property is now occupied by the Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery. The Craftsman house was a 1+1⁄2 story frame structure with a concrete foundation and full basement, approximately 75' by 60'. The property also included a carriage house, separate caretaker's residence, and greenhouses. Several acres surrounding the main residence were elaborately landscaped by the Olmsted Brothers firm.

Woodinville wine country is an area of Western Washington situated around the city of Woodinville, approximately 30 minutes to an hour driving time from downtown Seattle (depending on traffic). The area is home to more than 130 wineries and tasting rooms, including several of the state's notable wineries, such as Chateau Ste. Michelle, Columbia Winery, Novelty Hill Januik, Silver Lake, Matthews Winery, and Tenor Wines. While located within the Puget Sound AVA area, the majority of wineries in Woodinville wine country source their grapes from Eastern Washington American Viticultural Areas like Columbia Valley and Yakima Valley. In addition to making wine, several of the wineries in Woodinville wine country are open for tours and tastings, with Chateau Ste. Michelle also having a regular summer concert series at its amphitheater. Woodinville Village, currently under development, will showcase some of the smaller wineries in the area that are not normally open to the public.State Route 202 runs through the heart of Woodinville wine country.

Chateau Ste. Michelle is Washington State's oldest winery, located in Woodinville, Washington, near Seattle. It produces Chardonnay, Cabernet, Merlot, and Riesling, and has winemaking partnerships with two vintners: Col Solare is an alliance with Tuscany's Piero Antinori and Eroica Riesling is a partnership with the Mosel's Ernst Loosen. Chateau Ste. Michelle was selected as Wine Enthusiast magazine's 2004 American Winery of the Year. It was owned by Altria (formerly known as Phillip Morris), and then sold to the private equity firm Sycamore Partners in 2021.

DeLille Cellars is a winery in Woodinville, Washington, USA. The tasting room is located in the Hollywood District of Woodinville, at the former Redhook Brewery. DeLille Cellars specializes in wines using the Bordeaux grape varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. In 2000, DeLille won The New York Times Wine Today.com "Winery of the Year" award. It is one of Washington state's premier cult wines.DeLille Cellars is in the "Top 100" Guides of Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast for both red and white wine (D2, Signature Syrah, Chaleur Blanc), as well as being honored as Wine Enthusiast Wine Star - Top Five American Wineries. DeLille Cellars was one of the first five wineries in Washington State to receive Robert Parker’s 5-star/Outstanding rating. DeLille Cellars was recently named a Top 100 Winery in the World for two consecutive years (2017, 2018) by Wine and Spirits Magazine. In 2018, DeLille Cellars achieved the highest ever unmatched auction lot bid in the history of the Auction of Washington Wines.

Woodinville is a city in King County, Washington, United States. It is a part of the Seattle metropolitan area. There is also a much larger population with Woodinville mailing addresses in adjacent unincorporated areas of King (Cottage Lake) and Snohomish (Maltby) counties. Woodinville has waterfront parks on the Sammamish River, sweeping winery and brewery grounds, and densely wooded areas

Kamiakin Middle School is a middle school in Kirkland, Washington and is part of the Lake Washington School District. It was established in 1974, and accommodates 627 students as of the 2020–2021 school year. The school is named after Kamiakin, a chief of the Yakama Tribe in the 19th century and a leader of the American Indian side in the Yakima War.

Northshore Middle School is a public middle school in Bothell, Washington. Most students go to Inglemoor High School after graduating from NMS, as it is commonly referred to. The feeders schools are Arrowhead Elementary, Woodmoor Elementary, and Moorlands Elementary. The school hosts an AAP (Advanced Academics Program) for students whose assessment scores qualify them for the highly capable program.In 2017, Northshore Middle School was re branded and reworked from Northshore Junior High into Northshore Middle School, which made it a grade 6th to 8th school.

Sixty Acres Park is a large park in unincorporated King County, Washington, near the city of Redmond. It is located along the Sammamish River and Sammamish River Trail. The name "Sixty Acres Park" is somewhat of a misnomer, since the park has a total area of 94 acres (38 ha). However, it has a total of 60 acres (24 ha) of soccer fields. The park is divided into a north field and south field, which are separated by NE 116th Street. Sixty Acres is home to the largest soccer complex west of the Mississippi River.

Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWTech) is a public technical institute in Kirkland, Washington. LWTech is a member of the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges and offers bachelor's degrees, associate degrees, and professional certificates in more than 40 areas of study.In addition to regular enrollment, LWTech offers a Technical Academy, a full-time special purpose high school program giving qualifying students, ages 16 to 20, an opportunity to complete their high school diploma and to earn a two-year college technical degree at the same time. Other high school programs include, Running Start, Open Doors, Tech Prep, Adult High School Completion, and WANIC. In addition to high school diplomas, these students can also earn associate degrees.LWTech has one of the highest completion rates in the State of Washington.
