Creswell is a city in the Willamette Valley of Lane County, Oregon, United States, located 13 miles (21 km) south of Eugene, Oregon. The population at the 2010 census was 5,031.

KPNW (1120 kHz) is an AM radio station broadcasting a news/talk format. Licensed to Eugene, Oregon, United States, the station serves the Eugene-Springfield area, and calls itself "Newsradio 1120 and 93.7". The station is owned by Bicoastal Media and features a local morning show on weekdays followed by nationally syndicated programs from Compass Media Networks, Genesis Communications Network, Premiere Networks, Radio America, and Westwood One. KPNW carries Fox News at the beginning of each hour. The station, along with Portland's KOPB-FM, is Oregon's primary entry point for the Emergency Alert System. The transmitter for KPNW is located on Southern Hideaway Hills Road. In order to protect the Class A station on 1120 AM, KMOX in St. Louis, KPNW uses a directional antenna full time to cover the Western parts of Oregon in daytime and much of the West Coast at night.

Emerald Valley Golf Club is a public golf course located in Creswell, Oregon in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. The Emerald Valley course was the first regulation-length public golf course in the Eugene metropolitan area. The course runs along the west bank of the Coast Fork of the Willamette River.

Cloverdale is an unincorporated community in Lane County, Oregon, United States. It is approximately 3 miles (5 km) northeast of Creswell on Oregon Route 222.Cloverdale was the site of one of the first sawmills in Lane County, built in 1851. A gristmill was added in 1852. A townsite was laid out at Cloverdale in 1855, but the plat was later canceled. Cloverdale was considered a "thing of the past" as early as 1884. At one time Cloverdale had a store, and a school, and a blacksmith forge. The former Cloverdale Methodist Episcopal Church now serves as a wedding chapel. The church was built in 1904, and later served Baptist and Mennonite congregations and then as a community hall. The building was purchased by the McKinlay family in 1999 and restored. The school building, constructed in 1911, is also still standing.

Walker is an unincorporated community in Lane County, Oregon, United States. It is located about 4 miles (6 km) north of Cottage Grove on Oregon Route 99, near the Coast Fork Willamette River.A station with the name "Walkers" was established on the Siskiyou Line of the Southern Pacific Railroad in 1881. Walker post office was established in 1891 by Francis Smith, who bought some property from area pioneer Mrs. J. F. Walker and named the office for her, though the locale was being called Walker at least ten years earlier. The name of the station was named to match the post office in 1898. The office was discontinued in 1925.As of 1990, the former Walker schoolhouse was being used as a shed and shop. Walker Union Church was built in 1895, and has a church cemetery.

Gettings Creek is a tributary of the Coast Fork Willamette River in Lane County, in the U.S. state of Oregon. Flowing generally west from near Prune Hill, it turns sharply north as it nears Interstate 5 (I-5). It enters the larger stream near Walker, between Cottage Grove to the south and Creswell to the north. The I-5 rest area called Gettings Creek lies next to the creek.The creek and a tributary, North Fork Gettings Creek, were named for Samuel A. Gettings, an early settler. Gettings lived near the creek in 1888.

The Cascades Raptor Center is a nature center and wildlife hospital in Eugene, Oregon that specializes in raptor rehabilitation. As of November 2020, permanent inhabitants of the center include 37 individual birds from 21 species.
