The Bure Valley Path is a 9-mile (14 km) long walking trail and cycling trail in Norfolk, England. It runs alongside the Bure Valley Railway, a heritage railway from Wroxham to Aylsham.

Buxton Mill, is located on the River Bure about 0.5 miles (0.80 km) east of the village of Buxton, Norfolk, and is in the hamlet of Lamas, Norfolk. A watermill was recorded here in the Domesday Book. The present mill is thought to date from 1754 and was built by William Pepper, a merchant living in Buxton.

For the purposes of local government, the parish falls within the district of North Norfolk. Skeyton lies 4 miles (6.4 km) east of the market town of Aylsham, 13.5 miles (21.7 km) south of Cromer, 13.4 miles (21.6 km) north of Norwich and 129 miles (208 km) north-east of London. The nearest railway station is at North Walsham for the Bittern Line which runs between Sheringham, Cromer and Norwich. The nearest airport is Norwich International Airport.

Burgh and Tuttington is a civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It covers an area of 6.70 km2 (2.59 sq mi) and had a population of 255 in 115 households at the 2001 census, increasing to a population of 322 in 140 households at the 2011 Census. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of Broadland. The parish includes Burgh next Aylsham and Tuttington. Burgh next Aylsham has a grade I listed church dedicated to Mary, which features a notable fifteenth-century baptismal font. The church was restored in the late nineteenth century by Richard Phipson. Tuttington church of SS Peter and Paul is a grade II* listed building.

Buxton with Lamas is a civil parish in Broadland in the English county of Norfolk. It comprises the villages of Buxton lying to the west of the River Bure and Lamas on the eastern side of the river. At this point the River Bure is crossed by the Bure Valley Railway on a 105-foot (32 m) long girder bridge. Buxton has a halt on the railway. The former railway station on the Great Eastern Railway was called Buxton Lamas prior to closure of the line. For local government purposes, the two villages jointly elect Buxton with Lamas Parish Council, and fall within the area covered by Broadland District Council and Norfolk County Council. The civil parish had a population (including Little Hautbois) of 1,685 at the 2001 census, falling marginally to 1,684 at the 2011 census. A rather grand white water mill also crosses between Buxton and Lamas.

Tuttington is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Burgh and Tuttington, in the Broadland district, in the county of Norfolk, England. The village is 11.1 miles south of Cromer, 15 miles north of Norwich and 129 miles north-east of London. The village lies 3 miles east of the nearby town of Aylsham. The villages name probably means, 'farm/settlement connected with Tutta' or perhaps, 'farm/settlement of Tutta's people'.The nearest railway station is at North Walsham for the Bittern Line which runs between Sheringham, Cromer and Norwich. The nearest airport is Norwich International Airport. Its church, St Peter and St Paul, is one of 124 existing round-tower churches in Norfolk. Opposite the church, there is a Dutch gabled building that used to be the village shop and post office, which closed in May 1987. Next door to that there used to be a pub called The Ship. It has been said that as the village is several miles from the sea or any navigable waterways, this name could be a corruption of The Sheep as the pub may have been a welcome watering hole for drovers.

Stratton Strawless is a village in the county of Norfolk and district of Broadland. The civil parish covers 714 acres (289 ha) and has a population of 495, increasing to a population of 580 in the 2011 Census. Located close and to the east of the A140 road and being 4.5 miles (7.2 km) south of the market town of Aylsham and some 7 miles (11 km) north of Norwich. Much of the parish has been given over to the growing of arable crops, but there are substantial amounts of mixed woodland to be found.
