NLand Surf Park is an inland surfing destination near Austin, Texas, located ten minutes from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport at 4836 East Highway 71, Del Valle, Texas 78617. The park offers surfing sessions, lessons, clinics, or group surfing for first-time, beginner, intermediate, and advanced surfers. In addition to the 14-acre surf lagoon and surrounding land, the park includes a surf shop and a restaurant (Blue Prairie), and a craft brewery (NLand Brewing Company).NLand's surf lagoon is the largest man-made surf lagoon in North America. Founder Doug Coors partnered with Spanish engineering firm Wavegarden to design and build the lagoon, which offers six-foot-high waves as well as gentler waves for surfing and bodyboarding. NLand's waves provide rides of up to 35 seconds and surfers have the opportunity to catch a new wave every two minutes.On January 8, 2019, the World Surf League purchased NLand.

Gigafactory Texas (also known as Giga Texas, Giga Austin, or Gigafactory 5) is an automotive manufacturing facility in Austin, Texas built by Tesla, Inc. Construction began in July 2020, limited production of Model Y began before the end of 2021, and initial deliveries of vehicles built at the factory took place at an opening party called “Cyber Rodeo” on April 7, 2022.The factory produces Model Y cars for the Eastern United States and is also planned to be the main factory for the Cybertruck and the company's next-generation vehicle. It also serves as the site of Tesla's corporate headquarters. Tesla employs over 20,000 people at the factory and expects to eventually have a staff of 60,000 as production ramps up. It is the country's second biggest factory by size as well as the second-largest building by volume in the world after the Boeing Everett Factory.

Del Valle ( del VAL-ee) is an airport-defined edge city of Austin and part of the Austin–Round Rock–San Marcos Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is founded upon the 19th-century Santiago Del Valle leagues, the largest granted land parcel in Travis County.It is an unincorporated area in southeastern Travis County, Texas, United States. It has no local government of its own and no official boundaries. However, Austin has annexed portions, including the site of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in 1990. After that, most recently in 2013, the city added more Del Valle territory to the east (8 to 13 miles southeast of downtown Austin). Recent industrial developments include those by Tesla, which has received significant tax relief from Del Valle Independent School District, rated at $60 million.The 2010 census estimated a population of 300. Del Valle is located 7 miles (11 km) southeast of Downtown Austin on Texas State Highway 71 and is near the Colorado River. It is located at (30.21, -97.65) with an elevation of 482 feet. Del Valle has a Three-level diamond interchange that includes frontage roads at-grade with interchange. A flyover ramp was added to allow eastbound SH 71 traffic to join SH 130 north.

Moore's Crossing Historic District is a community located in rural Travis County nine miles southeast of Austin, Texas near the Austin–Bergstrom International Airport. The location was used as a low-water crossing of Onion Creek as early as the 1840s but did not receive its current name until the early 1900s, when John B. Moore built a store in the area. Moore's Crossing was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 16, 1996

Wat Buddhananachat is a Buddhist Temple located about 20 miles southeast of Downtown, on Linden Rd. in Del Valle, Texas. This Buddhist temple was established in April, 1986 (incorporated on August 4, 1986) as a nonprofit organization to serve as a center for religious and cultural activities for Theravadic Buddhist belonging to different ethnic communities in central Texas.

Moore's Crossing is an unincorporated community in Travis County, in the U.S. state of Texas. According to the Handbook of Texas, the community had a population of 25 in 2000. It is located within the Greater Austin metropolitan area.

The Germania Insurance Amphitheater (originally the Tower Amphitheater, then Austin360 Amphitheater) called for sponsorship reasons, is an outdoor amphitheatre that is part of the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) located in Austin, Texas, USA. The venue opened in November 2012 with a capacity of 14,000. There are 6,700 fixed reserved seats. Another 1,700 seats can be configured on the stage-front floor or alternately configured for standing room for 2,300. The remaining general admission spots are on a sloping grass area behind the reserved seats. The Amphitheater won the Best New Major Concert Venue Award by Pollstar in 2013. It has been recognized as a Modern Steel Construction in 2015 by the American Institute of Steel Construction winning the 2015 IDEAS2 Awards.

Circuit of the Americas (COTA) is a Grade 1 FIA-specification 3.426-mile (5.514 km) motor racing track and facilities located in Austin, Texas, in the United States. The facility is home to the Formula One United States Grand Prix, NASCAR's Texas Grand Prix, and the Motorcycle Grand Prix of the Americas, a round in MotoGP and the FIA World Endurance Championship with the Lone Star Le Mans. It previously hosted the Australian V8 Supercars, the Americas Rallycross Championship, the American Le Mans Series, the Rolex Sports Car Series, the IMSA SportsCar Championship and the IndyCar Classic. The circuit and Grand Prix were first proposed in the middle of 2010. The circuit was the first in the United States to be purpose-built for Formula One. The layout was conceived by promoter Tavo Hellmund and 1993 Motorcycle World Champion Kevin Schwantz with the assistance of German architect and circuit designer Hermann Tilke, who has also designed the Sepang, Shanghai, Yas Marina, Istanbul, Bahrain, Yeongam, and Buddh circuits, as well as the reprofiling of the Hockenheimring and Fuji Speedway.

Austin–Bergstrom International Airport, or ABIA (IATA: AUS, ICAO: KAUS, FAA LID: AUS, formerly BSM), is a Class C international airport in Austin, Texas, United States, serving the Greater Austin metropolitan area. Located about 5 miles (8 km) southeast of downtown Austin, it covers 4,242 acres (1,717 ha) and has two runways and three helipads.It is on the site of what was Bergstrom Air Force Base, named after Captain John August Earl Bergstrom, an officer who was the first person from Austin to be killed in World War II. The base was decommissioned in the early 1990s, and the land reverted to the city, which used it to replace Robert Mueller Municipal Airport as Austin's main airport in 1999. The airport is the third busiest in Texas, after Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston–Intercontinental. As of 2018, there are 510 arrivals and departures on the typical weekday to 76 destinations in North America and Europe.

KLBJ (590 AM) is a commercial radio station in Austin, Texas, airing a news/talk radio format. It is owned by Sinclair Telecable Inc. (not related to television broadcaster Sinclair Broadcast Group) and operated under the name Waterloo Media. It was once owned by the family of President Lyndon Baines Johnson, and still carries his initials in its call letters. It is Central Texas' primary entry point station for the Emergency Alert System. The station has studios and offices along Interstate 35 in Austin. Its transmitter site is located near the Colorado River, off Platt Lane, in Travis County. KLBJ operates with 5,000 watts by day. At night, to avoid interfering with other stations on AM 590 it reduces power to 1,000 watts and uses a directional antenna. It also simulcasts its programming on FM translator station K259AJ at 99.7 MHz.

Live Oak Brewing Company located in Austin, Texas, is a locally owned and operated brewery. The brewery produces four year-round beers as well as nearly 20 more seasonal (or limited release) beers. Live Oak beers are available on draft across Texas at bars and restaurants. In 2016, Live Oak began canning their beers for retail sale at grocery, liquor, and convenience stores across the state. While Live Oak uses industry standard step mashing for most of their beers, they use a more difficult and rarely used old world style of mashing known as decoction mashing for a few of their beers, most notably the Live Oak Pilz and the Oaktoberfest. Live Oak uses large, horizontal dairy tanks as fermenting vessels instead of the more traditional cylindroconical fermenters. From 1997 to 2015, the brewery was run out of rented industrial space on East 5th Street in central Austin. In December 2015, the company relocated to a new brewery and taproom facility built on 20 acres (81,000 m2) of undeveloped land on the Colorado river just north of the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Construction of the new facility took 11 months. The Live Oak Brewing Company Taproom & Biergarten is family-friendly and open to the public, home of The Black Forest food truck, group events, public brewery tours, beer release parties, art markets, trivia nights, beer and food events, Rolling Roadshows, and more. In 2018, Chip and head-brewer, Dusan Kwiatkowski, traveled to Grodzisk Wielkopolski, Poland, to learn more about the beer-making traditions of the Grodziskie style beer. Together with Browar Grodzisk a collaboration beer was born, Grodziskie Imperialne, with stronger notes of oak smoke and bitterness exceeding the Grodzisk standards.In 2019, Live Oak Brewing took home a bronze medal from The Great American Beer Festival for their Hefeweizen.
