East Cleveland is a census-designated place (CDP) and community in Bradley County, Tennessee, United States. It is located directly east of the city limits of Cleveland, and is also considered one of the major divisions of the city. The population was 1,725 at the 2020 census. It is included in the Cleveland Metropolitan Statistical Area.

College Hill School was a segregated public school for African American students established in 1883 in Cleveland, Bradley County, Tennessee, United States. An historical marker commemorates the school's history. It was also known as College Hill High School.

The Pentecostal Theological Seminary is a private Christian seminary in Cleveland, Tennessee. While part of the educational ministry of the Church of God, the school accepts students of other denominations, particularly those interested in its emphasis on Wesleyan/Holiness theology and Pentecostal spirituality. It has trained ministers since 1975. The school offers the M.Div, M.T.S., and M.A, degrees with concentrations in Church Ministries, Discipleship and Christian Formation, Theological studies and Counseling. Some courses and degrees are offered online. It also offers the D.Min. degree for ministerial leaders seeking to expand their study.

Bradley County is a county located in the southeastern portion of the U.S. state of Tennessee. As of the 2020 census, the population was 108,620, making it the thirteenth most populous county in Tennessee. Its county seat is Cleveland. It is named for Colonel Edward Bradley of Shelby County, Tennessee, who was colonel of Hale's Regiment in the American Revolution and the 15th Regiment of the Tennessee Volunteers in the War of 1812. Bradley County is included in the Cleveland, Tennessee Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is also included in the Chattanooga-Cleveland-Dalton, TN-GA-AL Combined Statistical Area.

Lee University is a private Christian university in Cleveland, Tennessee. It was originally the Church of God Bible Training School, a small Bible institute founded in 1918 with twelve students and one teacher, Nora I. Chambers. The school grew and became Lee College, with a Bible college and junior college on its current site, in 1948. Twenty years later, Lee received accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools as a four-year liberal arts college. In 1997, Lee became a university; it now offers master's degrees as well as undergraduate degrees.The university is divided into six colleges and schools: the College of Arts & Sciences, the Helen DeVos College of Education, the School of Business, the School of Music, the School of Nursing, and the School of Religion. The university also offers online degrees through the Division of Adult Learning. The university is named for F.J. Lee, its second president.

WCLE (1570 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station broadcasting a News Talk Information format. Licensed to Cleveland, Tennessee, the station is owned by Hartline, LLC. The station also broadcasts on two FM translators, W267BI 101.3 MHz and W256DQ 99.1 MHz, both with a power of 250 watts. On September 1, 2019, the format of WCLE was changed from talk to Regional Mexican. It eventually switched back to talk. WCLE is a sister station to WCLE-FM, with which it shares a studio.

The Ocoee Street Historic District is a historic district and neighborhood located in downtown Cleveland, Tennessee along U.S. Route 11 that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) on December 13, 1995. It is located adjacent to the Centenary Avenue Historic District consists of many homes individually listed on the NRHP.

It is the principal city of the Cleveland metropolitan area, Tennessee (consisting of Bradley and neighboring Polk County), which is included in the Chattanooga–Cleveland–Dalton, TN–GA–AL Combined Statistical Area. First Presbyterian Church is a historic church at 433 Ocoee Street NW in Cleveland, Tennessee. The First Presbyterian congregation is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and the Presbytery of East Tennessee.

The Centenary Avenue is one of the oldest historic districts in Cleveland, Tennessee. It is bounded by Eighteenth, Harle, Thirteenth and Ocoee Streets, is located adjacent to the Ocoee Street Historic District, and is regarded as one of the widest streets in Cleveland. The homes there were built from 1850-1949. Added to the city's historic registry in 1993, the private residences on Centenary Avenue are built in Tudor Revival, Bungalow/Craftsman and Colonial Revival architectural styles.

St. Luke's Episcopal Church is a historic church at Ocoee and Central Streets, NW in Cleveland, Tennessee, United States. It is one of the city's oldest buildings and the second oldest church building in Cleveland. The Gothic Revival-style church building was built in 1873. It was dedicated to the memory of a 7-year-old girl, Nina Craigmiles, who died on October 18, 1871, when the buggy she was riding in was hit by a railroad switch engine.The church building features stained glass windows, wooden arches with intricate carvings, and a 3-story bell tower that contains a bell that is rung nine times after the opening voluntary at the beginning of each service, three peals each in honour of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost. In addition to the bell, an electric carillon that plays the Westminster Chimes on the quarter hours. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Craigmiles Hall is a historic building in Cleveland, Tennessee, U.S.. It was built as an opera house in 1877–1878. Its construction was commissioned by Walter Craigmiles, who grew up in the P.M. Craigmiles House. It remained in the Craigmiles family until 1896.In 1896, the building was purchased by J.E. Johnston and a group of investors that included J.T. Johnston, W.P. Lang, May Brown, J.A. Steed, and S.M. Johnston. The property was acquired in 1909 by John and Isa Steed, who added a drugstore to the first floor. A.B. Jones and Vastine Stickley bought Craigmiles Hall in 1948. The building was sold again in 1973 to the Uptown Corporation. Attorney Richard Banks purchased Craigmiles Hall in 1979. The building has been owned by businessman Allan Jones since 1993. The building was designed in the Second Empire architectural style. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since November 25, 1980.
