Shouldham is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It covers an area of 16.04 km2 (6.19 sq mi) and had a population of 608 in 246 households at the 2001 census, the population reducing slightly to 605 at the 2011 census. It also contains a church (pictured) and a primary school (St Martins at Shouldham). The villages name means 'homestead/village with an obligation'. Shouldham is a parish of the Kings Lynn and West Norfolk district council, which is responsible for the most local services. Norfolk County Council is responsible for roads, some schools, and social services. For Westminster elections the parish forms part of the South West Norfolk constituency, represented by Liz Truss.

Blackborough Priory was a Benedictine monastic house in Norfolk, England, about 5 miles or 8 km south east of King's Lynn. The Ordnance Survey map shows the remains of fishponds nearby, which may have been for the use of the monastery.

Blackborough End Pit is a 13.2-hectare (33-acre) geological Site of Special Scientific Interest south-east of King's Lynn in Norfolk. It is a Geological Conservation Review site.This site is important as a demonstration of erosion during the Lower Cretaceous. The Carstone Formation, which dates to the Albian around 110 million years ago, rests unconformably on the Leziate Beds, which date to the Valanginian, over 130 million years ago, and the normally intervening Dersingham Beds are missing.The site is private land with no public access.

Setchey SSSI is a 33.4-hectare (83-acre) geological Site of Special Scientific Interest south of King's Lynn in Norfolk. It is a Geological Conservation Review site.This site throws light on sea level changes in the Holocene, the period since the end of the last ice age, 11,700 years ago. It is part of a network of Fenland sites which allows correlation across the area.The site is private land with no public access.

The villages name means 'Pole farm/settlement on an island', perhaps denoting a trackway or an enclosed settlement. The parish church of St James, Runcton Holme, is a Grade I listed building. Watlington is a village, civil parish and electoral ward in the English county of Norfolk. It is in the district of King's Lynn and West Norfolk. The villages name means 'farm/settlement of Hwaetel's/Wacol's people' or perhaps, 'farm/settlement at Wateling (= Wattle/thatching place)'.It is situated some 1.2 mi (1.9 km) from the east bank of the River Great Ouse, 7.5 mi (12.1 km) south of the town of King's Lynn and 37 mi (60 km) west of the city of Norwich.The village is directly served by Watlington railway station (on the Fen Line between Cambridge and King's Lynn) which is situated 0.62 mi (1.00 km) from the centre of the village. Amenities in the village include a public house, Post Office and medical centre with pharmacy. There is also a sports and social club, village hall and church to the north east of the village. A small nature reserve named 'Watatunga' opened to visitors in July 2020, offering guided buggy tours amongst '170 acres of woodland, grassland and lakes'. This occupies a vast area directly situated between Watlington and the nearby A10 trunk road.
