El Clot

El Camp de l'Arpa del Clot (name designated in 2006) is one of the ten neighborhoods of Barcelona which compose the district of Sant Martí, Catalonia (Spain). It was annexed by Barcelona in the year 1897. It is situated in the upper part of this district and before it was named Camp de l'Arca.

Encants is a Barcelona Metro station in the Eixample district of Barcelona, served by L2. It opened in 1997. It is located under carrer de València between carrer del Dos de Maig and carrer de la Independència, and is accessible from both sides of the intersection of carrer de València and Dos de de Maig. The station is named after the nearby Encants Vells and Encants Nous, two markets.

Passengers can commute here to Barcelona Metro station Clot. Like its metro counterpart, the station is completely underground, under Carrer d'Aragó and Avinguda Meridiana.

Navas is a Barcelona Metro station located in the Sant Andreu district of Barcelona, served by L1. It opened in 1953. The name refers to carrer Navas de Tolosa, and the station was originally called Navas de Tolosa until it adopted its current name in 1982. Like the rest of stations in this section of L1, Navas is located under Avinguda Meridiana, and can be accessed from the street of the same name and from carrer de Biscaia. On 21 February 2007 a deaf ONCE lottery seller was murdered in the station by being pushed on to the railtrack.

Named for the Hospital de Sant Pau World Heritage Site which it serves, the station is located underneath Carrer de la Indústria in the Eixample, between Carrer Cartagena and Carrer Dos de Maig. It was opened in 1970. Its previous name, before 2009, was Hospital de Sant Pau. The separate-platform station has a ticket hall on either end, each with one access, on Carrer Cartagena and Carrer Dos de Maig/Indústria.

Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈplasə ðə ləz ˈɣlɔɾiəs kətəˈlanəs]), most often shortened to Glòries, is a large square in Barcelona, first designed by Ildefons Cerdà to serve as the city centre in his original urban plan (Pla Cerdà), but nowadays relegated to quite a secondary position. It is located in the Sant Martí district, bordering Eixample, at the junction of three of the city's most important thoroughfares: Avinguda Diagonal, Avinguda Meridiana and Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes. Currently it serves largely as a roundabout of elevated highways. However, beginning in the early 2000s, and as of 2007, revamping project for Glòries has started, which is aimed to give the square a new role in Barcelona and revitalize the northern districts of the city, under the name 22@. These plans supplement other large-scale plans in Sagrera and the Fòrum area. The first installment of this project was the construction of the controversial Torre Agbar skyscraper.

Glòries is a station in the Barcelona Metro network, at the boundary between the Eixample and Sant Martí districts of Barcelona. It is served by TMB line L1. The station is named after the nearby Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes. It was opened in 1951, when Line 1 was extended from Marina to Clot. It can be accessed from Carrer d'Àlaba and Glòries. It is currently being adapted for disabled people. It will be connected to a future train station in the square, which will include access to L8. It is also an important tram station, being the terminus of Trambesòs tram routes T4 and T5.

The former Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau (Catalan pronunciation: [uspiˈtal də lə ˈsantə ˈkɾɛw i ˈsam ˈpaw], English: Hospital of the Holy Cross and Saint Paul) in the neighborhood of El Guinardó, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, is a complex built between 1901 and 1930. It is one of the most prominent works of the Catalan modernisme architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner. The complex was listed as a Conjunto Histórico in 1978. Together with Palau de la Música Catalana, it is declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998.Being composed of 12 pavilions connected through long underground galleries within its large green space, Sant Pau is the largest complex built in Art Nouveau style. It was a fully functioning hospital until June 2009, when the new hospital opened next to it, before undergoing restoration for use as a museum and cultural center, which opened in 2014. Besides being an important historical and architectural masterpiece, the building also offers workspaces for high-profile social organizations such as WHO, Banco Farmacéutico, Barcelona Health Hub, EMEA, UN-HABITAT and more. The cultural center also has an historical archive in which the records and documents of remarkable occurrences related to the hospital and the city can be found. The archives are open for visiting and offers information to users and researchers with the information and reprographics service, in addition to a reading room.

The Old Hospital de la Santa Creu is a 15th-to-18th-century building complex in Barcelona, which formerly served as a hospital and hospice and currently is the home of the National Library of Catalonia, the Institute for Catalan Studies, the former College of Surgeons, and an art school. It has been declared a Historic and Artistic Landmark of National Interest.
