Gumboro Hundred is a hundred in Sussex County, Delaware, United States. Gumboro Hundred was formed in 1873 from Dagsboro Hundred.

The Burton–Blackstone–Carey Store is a historic commercial building at 103 State Street in Millsboro, Delaware. It is a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure with vernacular Greek Revival styling. Built c. 1840, it is Millsboro's oldest surviving commercial building. Originally located at the corner of Main and State Streets, it was moved a short distance down State Street in 1918 to make way for the construction of the (now adjacent) Delaware Trust building. The Burton–Blackstone–Carey Store has retained much original fabric, including original siding material, most of which is now preserved under more recent metal siding.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

Perry–Shockley House, also known as the Shockley House, was a historic home located at Millsboro, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in 1901, and was a 2+1⁄2-story, "T"-plan, wood frame dwelling with a hipped roof in the Queen Anne style. It had a two-story, gable roofed rear wing and one-story wraparound porch.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.The house was heavily damaged in a March 2014 fire and no longer exists.

Warren's Mill is a historic grist mill located near Millsboro, Sussex County, Delaware. The mill was built in 1910–18, and is a large two-story, large, rectangular, frame structure sheathed in clapboard and with a gambrel roof. It sits on a poured concrete foundation and has a concrete spillway. Also on the property is a contributing shed frame, with clapboard siding and a shingled gable roof.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

The Choptank River is a major tributary of the Chesapeake Bay and the largest river on the Delmarva Peninsula. It is located north of the Nanticoke River, and its mouth is located south of Eastern Bay. Cambridge, the county seat of Dorchester County, and Denton, the county seat of Caroline County, are located on its south shore. Its watershed area in Maryland is 1,004 square miles (2,600 km2), of which 224 square miles (580 km2) is open water, so it is 22% water. The predominant land use is agricultural with 418 square miles (1,080 km2), or 48% of the land area. The river is named after the native Choptank people.
