Gumboro Hundred is a hundred in Sussex County, Delaware, United States. Gumboro Hundred was formed in 1873 from Dagsboro Hundred.

Indian River Hundred is a hundred in Sussex County, Delaware, United States. Indian River Hundred was formed in 1706 from Lewes & Rehoboth Hundred. Its primary community is now Angola on Delaware Route 24, but maritime transportation dominated during the colonial and early federal era. Thus settlers as early as 1794 built a nearby chapel St. George's (now off Delaware Route 5) to serve their spiritual needs and as a community gathering place. By 1821 they paid to share a pastor with St. Peter's Church in Lewes, Delaware, as well as Old Christ Church (Laurel, Delaware), Prince George's Chapel in Dagsboro, Delaware and St. Pauls' Church in Georgetown, Delaware. By the late 20th century, fishing and farming had declined but tourism had increased, so the parish was linked to All Saints' Church in Rehoboth Beach.

Perry–Shockley House, also known as the Shockley House, was a historic home located at Millsboro, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in 1901, and was a 2+1⁄2-story, "T"-plan, wood frame dwelling with a hipped roof in the Queen Anne style. It had a two-story, gable roofed rear wing and one-story wraparound porch.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.The house was heavily damaged in a March 2014 fire and no longer exists.

Warren's Mill is a historic grist mill located near Millsboro, Sussex County, Delaware. The mill was built in 1910–18, and is a large two-story, large, rectangular, frame structure sheathed in clapboard and with a gambrel roof. It sits on a poured concrete foundation and has a concrete spillway. Also on the property is a contributing shed frame, with clapboard siding and a shingled gable roof.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

The Choptank River is a major tributary of the Chesapeake Bay and the largest river on the Delmarva Peninsula. It is located north of the Nanticoke River, and its mouth is located south of Eastern Bay. Its watershed area in Maryland is 1,004 square miles (2,600 km2), of which 224 square miles (580 km2) is open water, so it is 22% water. The predominant land use is agricultural with 418 square miles (1,080 km2), or 48% of the land area. The river is named after the native Choptank people.
