The Robert A. Mott Athletics Center (formerly Mott Gym) is a 3,032-seat, indoor multi-purpose arena on the campus of California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California.

California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (California Polytechnic State University, Cal Poly or Cal Poly San Luis Obispo,) is a public university in San Luis Obispo County, adjacent to the city of San Luis Obispo. It is the oldest of three polytechnics in the California State University system. The university is organized into six colleges offering 65 bachelor's and 39 master's degrees. Cal Poly San Luis Obispo primarily focuses on undergraduate education and as of fall 2020, Cal Poly had 21,447 undergraduate and 840 graduate students. The academic focus is on combining technical and professional curriculums with the arts and humanities. Most of the university's athletic teams participate in the Big West Conference. Cal Poly is eligible to be designated as an Asian American Native American Pacific Islander serving institution (AANAPISI).

The Powerhouse is a historic building located on the campus of California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California. Built from 1909 to 1910, it is the oldest building still standing at Cal Poly. The design of the building was long mis-attributed to William H. Weeks, who had designed the original Cal Poly power house at the northern end of campus. However, the architectural plans for the 1909 building were created by the State of California Department of Engineering, under State Engineer Nat Ellery.The building is designed in the Mission Revival style. The building originally served as a power plant run by students and two full-time supervisors; it also held Mechanics and Electrical Engineering classes. The Powerhouse stopped generating power in the 1940s and was replaced entirely and abandoned in 1955. In 1967, the building found a new use when the school's College of Architecture and Environmental Design decided to hold classes there. The college continued to hold classes in the building even after the construction of a new architecture building, and only stopped in 1990 when the school's administration ordered the building to be abandoned.The Powerhouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 30, 1993.

The Motel Inn (originally known as the Milestone Mo-Tel), located in San Luis Obispo, California, was the first motel in the world. It opened on December 12, 1925, and closed in 1991. The building is now the administrative building of the Apple Farm Inn hotel next door.

In 1904, the California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in San Luis Obispo opened its university library, which is now housed in a five-story on-campus building named in honor of President Emeritus Robert E. Kennedy. It holds about 320,000 books, 45,000 online journals, 750 print journals, and 340,000 eBooks. It is the largest library between Santa Cruz and Santa Barbara.

The California Polytechnic State University College of Architecture and Environmental Design (or CAED) is one of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo's six colleges. Cal Poly's CAED program has nearly 1,900 students and is one of the largest programs in the United States. The college offers bachelor's degrees in five departments, as well as two master's degree programs.

The Cal Poly San Luis Obispo College of Engineering is the engineering college of the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in San Luis Obispo, California. It has nearly 250 faculty members and more than 6,000 students enrolled in fourteen bachelor's and in eleven master's degree programs through nine engineering departments. Its facilities house more than 80 classrooms, laboratories and work spaces occupying more than 160,000 square feet. In the 2021 U.S. News & World Report's "America's Best Colleges" edition, the College of Engineering is ranked 8th out of 220 public and private undergraduate engineering schools in the U.S. where doctorates are not offered.

Mustang Memorial Field, formerly known as Mustang Stadium and then Alex G. Spanos Stadium, is an 11,075-seat multi-purpose stadium on the west coast of the United States, located on the campus of California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in San Luis Obispo, California. It is the home field of the Cal Poly Mustangs football and soccer teams. The stadium was renovated largely from funding via the late Alex Spanos, a Cal Poly alumnus, American billionaire real estate developer, founder of the A. G. Spanos Companies, and then-majority owner of the Chargers of the National Football League (NFL).

Robin Baggett Stadium is a baseball venue located on the campus of California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California, United States. It is home to the Cal Poly Mustangs baseball team, a member of the Division I Big West Conference. The stadium is named for Robin Baggett, a former baseball player at Cal Poly.
