Marshall Creek was a town in Denton County, Texas, United States, with a population of 431 at the 2000 census.

Trophy Club is an affluent suburb of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex in the U.S. state of Texas. When established in the 1970s, it was one of the earliest premier planned communities in Texas, built around the only golf course designed by Ben Hogan. It is located west of the DFW Airport and south of the western edge of Grapevine Lake, spanning the county line separating Denton and Tarrant along State Highway 114. The population was 13,688 in 2020.

Roanoke is currently growing at a rate of 3.77% annually and its population has increased by 76.74% since the most recent census, which recorded a population of 5,962 in 2010. A small part of the city extends into Tarrant. The city was originally founded after competition with Elizabethtown, located just off Highway 114. Settlers from Elizabethtown eventually moved to Roanoke permanently, and Elizabethtown currently resides as a ghost town. The main east–west road through town, State Highway 114 Business, is named "Byron Nelson Boulevard" in honor of the golfer who resided in the community. Roanoke is home to many restaurants (as such, its official slogan is "The Unique Dining Capital of Texas"), as well as a hotel that bank robbers Bonnie and Clyde resided in during the 1930s. The Northwest Regional Airport is located 2 miles (3 km) north of the city center.

There is a landing fee for non-based aircraft and non-based flight school aircraft must obtain written prior permission. The airfield was previously called Aero Valley Airport until around 1988.

Liberty Christian School is a private, college preparatory, Christian school located in Argyle, Texas. Liberty offers Christ-centered education from Preschool (age 3) through Grade 12, and provides state championship programs in academics, fine arts, and athletics.Liberty Christian is part of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS). Liberty's mascot is the Warrior. In 2021 the school made headlines when it announced the hiring of former Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten as its head football coach. Two years later it would hire another notable athlete, three-time Olympic gold medalist Jeremy Wariner, as its track and field coach.Established in 1983, Liberty moved to its current location in Argyle in 2005. The town derived its original name from the adjacent Elizabeth Creek. The creek starts in northeast Roanoke and ends near Rhome, Haslet, and Avondale. The town is one of at least four ghost towns in Denton County, which includes Drop, Stony, and Alton. It is one of many ghost towns in Texas.

Carroll Senior High School (commonly known as Southlake Carroll) is a public secondary school in Southlake, Texas, serving students in grades 11 and 12. The school is part of the Carroll Independent School District, serving the majority of the city of Southlake, Texas and portions of northwest Grapevine, far northern Colleyville and eastern Westlake. The building is located at 1501 W. Southlake Blvd at the intersection of S. Peytonville Avenue and Southlake Blvd.

Texas Motor Speedway is a speedway located in the northernmost portion of Fort Worth, Texas in Denton County. The reconfigured track measures 1.500 mi (2.414 km) with banked 20° in turns 1 and 2 and banked 24° in turns 3 and 4. Texas Motor Speedway is a quad-oval design, where the front straightaway juts outward slightly. The track layout is similar to Atlanta Motor Speedway and Charlotte Motor Speedway. The track is owned by Speedway Motorsports, Inc. Nicknamed “The Great American Speedway“ the racetrack facility is one of the largest motorsports venues in the world capable of hosting crowds in excess of 200,000 spectators.
