Byron Nelson High School is a public high school located in Trophy Club, Texas about 20 miles (32 km) north of Fort Worth, Texas, in Denton County and opened in August 2009 for the 09–10 school year. It is the second high school in the Northwest Independent School District. The school cost $86.5 million dollars to build. It is approximately 504,000 square feet (46,800 m2), with a 32,000-square-foot (3,000 m2) courtyard in the middle. The academic wing seats a 700-seat cafeteria with a mall-style food court serving layout. It is built along the property of the Army Corps of Engineers, along the edge of where Denton Creek flows into Lake Grapevine at the lake's southwestern corner. In 2013, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency. In 2019, Byron Nelson High School earned an "A" according to TEA's school accountability rating system.Byron Nelson, which competes as a UIL class 6A school, has been a 4-year campus since the 2011–2012 academic year. The campus features environmentally-conscious design elements such as low-energy light fixtures, a landscape designed to conserve water, and the incorporation of recycled building materials sourced from local suppliers. Students have access to a variety of restaurants, including Grille Works, Asian/Italian Restaurant, and a Mexican Restaurant. The school housed a coffeeshop called Java City until its closing for the 2020-21 school year.

With a 2020 population of 10,537, it is the 236th largest city in Texas and the 2991st largest city in the United States. Roanoke is currently growing at a rate of 3.77% annually and its population has increased by 76.74% since the most recent census, which recorded a population of 5,962 in 2010. A small part of the city extends into Tarrant. The city was originally founded after competition with Elizabethtown, located just off Highway 114. Settlers from Elizabethtown eventually moved to Roanoke permanently, and Elizabethtown currently resides as a ghost town. The main east–west road through town, State Highway 114 Business, is named "Byron Nelson Boulevard" in honor of the golfer who resided in the community. Roanoke is home to many restaurants (as such, its official slogan is "The Unique Dining Capital of Texas"), as well as a hotel that bank robbers Bonnie and Clyde resided in during the 1930s. The Northwest Regional Airport is located 2 miles (3 km) north of the city center.

The school is part of the Carroll Independent School District, serving the majority of the city of Southlake, Texas and portions of northwest Grapevine, far northern Colleyville and eastern Westlake. The building is located at 1501 W. Southlake Blvd at the intersection of S. Peytonville Avenue and Southlake Blvd.

Northwest Regional Airport (FAA LID: 52F) is a privately owned, public use airport 3 nautical miles (5.6 km) northwest of Roanoke, in Denton County, Texas, United States.The airport is used solely for general aviation purposes. There is a landing fee for non-based aircraft and non-based flight school aircraft must obtain written prior permission. The airfield was previously called Aero Valley Airport until around 1988.

The school educates students in the majority of the city of Keller, western Southlake, northwestern Colleyville, northern North Richland Hills, and most of Westlake, including the Vaquero development. It has been recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School for the 1999-2000 school year. As of 2011, Keller High School is rated "recognized" by the Texas Education Agency and is part of one of the largest districts in Texas to have an overall recognized rating. Liberty's mascot is the Warrior. In 2021 the school made headlines when it announced the hiring of former Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten as its head football coach. Two years later it would hire another notable athlete, three-time Olympic gold medalist Jeremy Wariner, as its track and field coach.Established in 1983, Liberty moved to its current location in Argyle in 2005. It was formerly located in Denton, Texas.

Keller is a city in Tarrant County, Texas, United States, in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. According to the 2020 census, the city's population is 45,776, making Keller the 80th most populated city in Texas. The most recent population estimate, as of July 1, 2021, is 45,397.In the early 1850s, settlers established Keller and the town became a stop on the Texas and Pacific Railway. The settlers settled around the wooded region in Keller because of Keller's proximity to the Trinity River water supply and abundant farmland. On November 16, 1955, Keller became incorporated. Keller is mostly residential, featuring more than 300 acres (120 ha) of developed land for 11 park sites and more than 26 miles of hiking and biking trails. The city prides itself as "Texas's Most Family Friendly City."
