Frognall is a small village in the South Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated just north-east of Deeping St James , to which it is almost conjoined, and on the Spalding Road, the B1525, which becomes the A1175 road on its route northwards from The Deepings to Spalding. It is within the civil and ecclesiastical parish of Deeping St James. The village public houses used to be The Goat and the Rose Inn. The Rose Inn closed down in 2013.

Deeping Rangers Football Club is a football club based in Market Deeping, Lincolnshire, England. They were established in 1964 and originally played at Maxey Road until 1982, but did not move to Outgang Road until 1985; the move was due to a rent dispute with the landowner. The Deepings (grid reference TF150094) are a series of settlements close to the River Welland near the borders of southern Lincolnshire and north western Cambridgeshire in eastern England. Peterborough is about 8 miles to the south, Spalding about 10 miles to the north east and Stamford about 8 miles to the west. The area is very low-lying, and gave The Deepings their name (a Saxon name translatable as either 'deep places' or 'deep lands'). The villages are mentioned in the Domesday Book. Deeping Fen lies to the North, and the drainage of it was an important part of seventeenth and eighteenth century land reclamation. It is now the responsibility of the Welland and Deepings Internal Drainage Board.

Hop Pole is a hamlet in the South Holland district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated between Deeping St James and Deeping St Nicholas, and on the A1175 Littleworth Drove road. No separate population statistic is available for Hop Pole. The best available report is for the whole Deeping St Nicholas civil parish with a total of 1323 people within 505 dwellings. There are approximately 40 homes in Hop Pole, around 105 people pro-rata. Hop Pole falls within the drainage area of the Welland and Deepings Internal Drainage Board. Hop Pole had three pubs: The Oat Sheaf Inn (closed 1957 and since demolished), The Blue Bell Inn (closed 2012 and now a motorhome stop-over site) and the Hop Pole Inn (closed in 1928 following the death of its long-serving landlord, Charles Stainsby).

St James Deeping is a former railway station which served the village of Deeping St James and town of Market Deeping in Lincolnshire, England. It was on the Lincolnshire Loop Line between Lincoln and Peterborough via Boston and Spalding. It was also on the Peterborough-Lincoln Line which connected Peterborough to Lincoln, avoiding Boston, via Spalding and is still an active mainline through the station site.
