Blennerhasset and Torpenhow (locally and ) is a civil parish in Cumbria, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 437, reducing to 423 at the 2011 Census. It includes the villages of Blennerhasset grid reference NY178415 and Torpenhow at NY202397 and the smaller settlement of Kirkland Guards at NY187401. It is located just outside the Lake District National Park. Baggrow railway station was immediately north of Blennerhasset. The local pronunciation of Torpenhow is trə-PEN-ə, rather than the more intuitive TOR-pen-how (). Blennerhasset is pronounced blen-RAY-sit () instead of BLEN-ər-hass-it () as would be expected outside of Cumbria. St Michael's Church, Torpenhow has a Norman chancel arch with a remarkable carving of interlocking human figures, and a painted wooden ceiling.

The parish includes the villages of Bothel and Threapland. The village of Bothel is south-east of the parish of Aspatria and Threapland is south of Aspatria and Carlisle is eighteen miles (29 km) North-east of the parish. It had a population of 483 in the 2011 census figures.

Harbybrow is a small settlement in the parish of Allhallows, Cumbria, England. Consisting of two inhabited dwellings - the old manor house and nearby mill - it is the smallest hamlet in the parish. The pele tower connected to the manor house was used to shelter animals during raids in the days of the border reivers. In recent years the mill has been restored by its current owners.

Allhallows Colliery railway station was in the former county of Cumberland, now Cumbria, England. It was a stop on the Bolton Loop (sometimes referred to as the "Mealsgate Loop") of the Maryport and Carlisle Railway. The station - almost certainly an unstaffed halt - was provided for miners at the colliery of the same name. No timetabled service ever called, nor is it certain what form the platform took, many such up and down the country were primitive in the extreme; in some cases users had to climb down from covered wagons or ancient coaches onto the trackside.

It is an ecclesiastical parish within the civil parish of Blindcrake. Nearby are the hamlets of Setmurthy, Sunderland and Redmain, and the village of Blindcrake. Isel is a rural community, with a church, a manorial Hall and several farms ranging from dairy to poultry, but lacking basic local facilities having no shop, public house or post office. It is mentioned in the English folk song "Horn of the Hunter." Isel Parish Church is dedicated to St Michael and the fabric is chiefly Norman. The church contains two pre-Norman carved stones, one of which is a fragment of a cross. Other buildings of interest are Isel Hall (with a pele tower), the ancient bridge of three arches (rebuilt in 1812) and the old vicarage.

Watchhill is a hamlet in the parish of Allhallows, Cumbria, England. The parish had 538 recorded residents in the 2001 census. Watchhill is sited near the highest point in the parish, most of the houses fronting the B5299 road from Caldbeck Common to Aspatria. It is so named because it once housed a beacon allowing residents to be alerted to raiders stealing cattle. In the days of the border reivers such warnings were vital, and allowed cattle and people to be protected in the nearby pele tower at Harbybrow.

Baggrow is a small village situated north of the Lake District National Park in the English county of Cumbria, historically within Cumberland. In many parts of the village views of England's 4th highest peak Skiddaw, standing 931 metres (3053 ft) above sea level, can be seen to the south east, some 9.5 mi (15 km) away.
