Callantsoog (West Frisian: Kallantsouge) is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Schagen, and lies about 18 km south of Den Helder. Callantsoog was a separate municipality until 1990, when it was merged with Zijpe.

Sint Maartensvlotbrug is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Schagen, and lies about 15 km northwest of Heerhugowaard. The village is named after a vlotbrug constructed near the village of Sint Maartensbrug. Originally it was a wooden bridge built between 1820 and 1821. In 1959, it was replaced by a steel pontoon bridge operated by an electro motor. The village was first mentioned between 1839 and 1859.

Schagerbrug is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is part of the municipality of Schagen, and was the main town of the former municipality of Zijpe. It lies about 2 km northwest of the town of Schagen.

Zijpe (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈzɛipə] (listen)) is a former municipality in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. In 2013, Zijpe and Harenkarspel merged into Schagen.

Petten is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Schagen, and lies about 15 km northwest of Alkmaar, on the North Sea. The population is ca. 1900. Petten's economy is based on agriculture (bulb cultivation), and tourism. A particular type sand can be found on the beach of Petten, of sanded quartz with granite. Since 1997 a plan has been developed for a marina with 600 places; called Marina Petten. Somewhat to the south of Petten, the dunes have been eroded, as a result of which a dike had to be built, the Hondsbossche and Pettemer zeewering.

Valkkoog (West Frisian: Falkekoeghe) is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Schagen, and lies about 12 km north of Heerhugowaard. The village was first mentioned in 1318 as Valkencoech, and means "(settlement on) land near water of the Valke (person)". Valkkoog was constructed on four terps (artificial hills) which date from around 1170. The monks of Egmond Abbey have later built a dike around the village. The church dates from the early 16th century, and is nowadays used for cultural activities. The church was rebuilt in 1839, and the tower was replaced in 1865. During World War II, more than 40 bunkers were built near the village by the Germans of which six still remain.

Burgervlotbrug is a hamlet in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Schagen, and lies about 15 km north of Alkmaar. Burgervlotbrug is considered part of Burgerbrug. It has place name signs.The village is named after a floating bridge ("vlotbrug" in Dutch) in the Noordhollandsch Kanaal. The bridge is still in operation. There is a little Mennonite church from 1869 which is nowadays a residential home.

Sint Maarten (West Frisian: Simmer) is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Schagen, and lies about 15 km north of Alkmaar. The village was first mentioned in 1289 as Niwelant. The current name is a reference to Martin of Tours. Sint Maarten developed in the 13th century along the West-Frisian sea dike. A church was built in 1462, but was destroyed in 1799. In 1875, a new church was built and demolished in 1960.Sint Maarten was home to 246 people in 1840. It was a separate municipality until 1990, when it was merged with Harenkarspel. Harenkarspel merged with Schagen in 2013.
