Chinnasekkadu is a neighbourhood of Chennai in Chennai district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. Chinnasekkadu used to be a town panchayat in Thiruvallur district. In 2011, Chinnasekkadu town panchayat was merged with Chennai Corporation. Chinnasekkadu comes under ward 29 in Zone 3(Madhavaram) of Chennai Corporation.

Manali is an industrial and residential part of Chennai, India. It is a zone in Greater Chennai Corporation located in the northern part of Chennai district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. As of 2011, the neighborhood had a population of 35,248.

Varadharaja Perumal temple is a Vishnu temple located at Kaladipet in Thiruvottiyur. This temple is located near Thyagaraja Swamy temple, Thiruvottiyur. This temple was historically known as Padmapuram and is estimated to be 500 years old. Perundevi shrine is located left to that of the Lord. The shrines for Navagrahas are installed on a stage designed as lotus petal. Magizham tree is the Thala Virutcham of the temple and Vaikanasam is the pooja.

V. O. C. Nagar railway station is one of the railway station if the Chennai Central–Gummidipoondi section of the Chennai Suburban Railway. It was previously known as Tondiarpet Marshalling Yard railway station. It serves the neighbourhood of Tondiarpet, a suburb of Chennai, and is located 6 km north of Chennai Central railway station. It has an elevation of 5 m above sea level. The railway station is mostly used by railway employees since it is very close to many railway establishments. This station is mostly visited by rail fans for rail fanning since it has a big railway yard. Chennai Port Trust ground is close to this railway station. However, it lacks several basic amenities.

Thiruvottriyur Theradi (formerly known as Gowri Ashram Metro Station) is an elevated metro station on the North-South Corridor of the Line 1 Extension of the Blue Line of Chennai Metro in Chennai, India. This station will serve the neighbourhoods of Thiruvottriyur and other northern suburbs of Chennai. This station was inaugurated along with Wimco Nagar Depot Metro Station on March 14, 2022.

Tiruvottriyur (Thiruvottiyur or TVT) is a neighbourhood in North Chennai, administered by the Greater Chennai Corporation. It is part of the Tondiarpet division, located to the north of Chennai. It is one of the fifteen administrative zones in the Greater Chennai Corporation. The zone is called Zone 1 (Tiruvottriyur). Tiruvottriyur has industrial units, trading activity, and nearby fishing hamlets. The area is easily accessible by Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) buses from across the city and has a bus terminus. The area is also served by the Tiruvottiyur railway junction of the Chennai Suburban Railway Network. As of 2011, the neighbourhood had a population of 249,446.

Vaikkadu (Tamil: வைக்காடு), is an industrial area in Manali, North of Chennai, a metropolitan city in Tamil Nadu, India. Vaikkadu is known for Manali Roundana, place where Tiruvottiyur-Ponneri high road intersects with originating Jawaharlal Nehru Road (Inner Ring Road) and Manali High road. Madras Fertilizer Limited and Toshiba JSW Power Systems Pvt. Ltd are notable companies located within Vaikkadu in Manali Industrial belt. In October 2011, the erstwhile Manali municipality is merged with Greater Chennai Corporation and it came under the jurisdiction of Greater Chennai Corporation. Though Vaikkadu is annexed with Greater Chennai Corporation it is still remained as a part of Tiruvottiyur taluk in Tiruvallur district.

Kaladipet Metro station (formerly Thangal Metro station) is a Metro railway station on Line 1 Extension of the Chennai Metro. The station is one of the 26 stations along the Blue Line (Chennai Metro) of the Chennai Metro. The station will serve the neighbourhoods of Kaladipet and other northern suburbs of Chennai.

Thyagaraja Temple (also called as Vadivudai Amman Temple) is a Hindu temple dedicated to Hindu god Shiva. It is located in Tiruvottiyur in the northern part of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The temple is revered by the Tevaram hymns of Saiva nayanars, the 7th century Tamil saint poets and classified as Paadal Petra Sthalam. All the Three of Thevaram Moovar (Appar, Samandar and Sundarar) has rendered Thevaram songs in this temple. The temple is closely associated with the saint poet Sundarar and Pattinathar. The temple has been in vogue from the Pallava times of the 7th century and widely expanded by Chola kings during the 11th century. The temple has a seven tiered gateway tower, a tank, with the overall temple area covering 1 acre. The temple is administered by the Hindu Religious and Endowment Board of the Government of Tamil Nadu. The temple draws parallel with the Thygaraja temple in Tiruvarur as both the temples were expanded by Rajendra Chola I and both have the same dance poses of Shiva. The temple is one of the 51 Sakthi Peetams in the country.The temple is also one of the Sakthi triad in the region of Tondaimandalam, the other two being the Kodiyidai Amman Temple or Masilamaniswara Temple at Thirumullaivoyal and the Thiruvudai Amman Temple or Thirumanangeeswarar Temple at Minjur.

Pallikondeswara Temple(also Pradosha kshetram) is a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Shiva located in Surutupalle, a village in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, India. The presiding deity Pallikondeswara, unlike other Shiva temples, is sported in reclining posture lying on the lap of his consort Parvati. The temple house a three-tiered gateway tower known as gopurams. The temple has numerous shrines, with those of Valmeegeeswarar and Maragathambigai being the most prominent. The temple complex houses many halls and three precincts. The temple has six daily rituals at various times from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., and five yearly festivals on its calendar. The Aipassi Annabishekam is the major festival in the temple. The temple was built by Vijayanagara king Harihara Bukka Raya (1344-47). In modern times, the temple is maintained and administered by State Institute of Temple Administration (SITA) of the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Surutapalle is a village in Chittoor district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Nagalapuram mandal of Tirupati revenue division.
