Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest

Mount Cilley is 2,227-foot (679 m) peak in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The wooded mountain is in the town of Woodstock, west of the Pemigewasset River and northeast of Elbow Pond. It was named for General Joseph Cilley.

Woodstock is a town in Grafton County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 1,434 at the 2020 census. Woodstock includes the village of North Woodstock, the commercial center. Its extensive land area is largely forested, and includes the Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest. Parts of the White Mountain National Forest are in the east and west. The Appalachian Trail crosses the town's northwest corner. Russell Pond Campground is in the east. West of North Woodstock is the Lost River Reservation.

Barney and Betty Hill were an American couple who claimed they were abducted by extraterrestrials in a rural portion of the state of New Hampshire from September 19 to 20, 1961. The incident came to be called the "Hill Abduction" and the "Zeta Reticuli Incident" because two ufologists connected the star map shown to Betty Hill with the Zeta Reticuli system. Their story was adapted into the best-selling 1966 book The Interrupted Journey and the 1975 television film The UFO Incident. Most of Betty Hill's notes, tapes, and other items have been placed in the permanent collection at the University of New Hampshire, her alma mater. In July 2011, the New Hampshire Division of Historical Resources marked the site of the alleged craft's first approach with a historical marker. The Hills' story was widely publicized in books and movies.

The Lost River is a 4.0-mile-long (6.4 km) stream in the White Mountains of New Hampshire in the United States. It is a tributary of Moosilauke Brook, part of the Pemigewasset River watershed leading to the Merrimack River.The Lost River begins on the eastern slopes of Mount Moosilauke below the peak of Mount Jim and above Kinsman Notch, one of the major passes through the White Mountains. As it flows through the notch, it passes through Lost River Gorge, an area where enormous boulders falling off the flanking walls of the notch at the close of the last Ice Age have covered the river, creating a network of boulder caves. The gorge is owned by the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests and is operated as a tourist attraction, with trails and ladders accessing many of the caves. The river flows southeast from Kinsman Notch to Jackman Brook, where the two streams form Moosilauke Brook, which continues northeast through the granite gorge of Agassiz Basin and joins the Pemigewasset River in the village of North Woodstock. New Hampshire Route 112 follows the Lost River from Kinsman Notch to Moosilauke Brook.

Moosilauke Brook is a 3.2-mile-long (5.1 km) stream in the White Mountains of New Hampshire in the United States. It is the downstream continuation of the Lost River and is a tributary of the Pemigewasset River, part of the Merrimack River watershed.Moosilauke Brook begins in the eastern part of Kinsman Notch, where the Lost River, flowing out of the center of the notch, joins Jackman Brook entering from the south. Moosilauke Brook runs northeast, passing through the granite gorge of Agassiz Basin and joining the Pemigewasset River in the village of North Woodstock. New Hampshire Route 112 follows Moosilauke Brook for its entire course.

The East Branch of the Pemigewasset River is a 15.8-mile-long (25.4 km) river located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire in the United States. It is a tributary of the Pemigewasset River, part of the Merrimack River watershed. The East Branch is a longer and larger river than the river that it flows into, but it is named a branch of the main stem because its source lies deep in the Pemigewasset Wilderness of the White Mountains, while the main Pemigewasset River flows directly from Franconia Notch, a major pass through the mountains. The East Branch begins in the locality known as Stillwater, in a wide valley north of Mount Carrigain and Mount Hancock, where several large brooks converge. The river flows west and southwest through the heart of the Pemigewasset Wilderness, picking up tributaries such as the North Fork of the Pemigewasset and Franconia Branch before reaching, at the Lincoln Woods Visitor Center, the Kancamagus Highway stretch of New Hampshire Route 112. Now into developed areas, the East Branch meets the Hancock Branch coming from the southeast and flows past the Loon Mountain ski area to the village of Lincoln, New Hampshire. The river crosses into Woodstock and ends at the Pemigewasset River just downstream from the Interstate 93 highway bridges.

North Woodstock is a census-designated place (CDP) and the primary village in the town of Woodstock in Grafton County, New Hampshire, United States. It had a population of 739 at the 2020 census.

The Norman and Marion Perry House is a historic house at 352 Ellsworth Hill Road in Campton, New Hampshire. The house was built in 1960 to a design by Hugh Stubbins, and is a residential embodiment of Modernist architecture. The property was landscaped by Leon Pearson, and has views of the surrounding mountain landscape. The house is currently a privately owned residence. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012, and the New Hampshire State Register of Historic Places in 2011.

Lin-Wood Public School in Lincoln, New Hampshire is a public primary and secondary school located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, serving the communities of Lincoln and Woodstock (hence the name Lin-Wood, from Lincoln and Woodstock). The school is operated by the Lincoln Woodstock Cooperative School District, the only "single school" SAU (School Administrative Unit) in the state. The school has students from kindergarten through 12th grade in its elementary, middle and high schools, which are located on one campus. Grades K-5 are housed in a building first opened for the 1991–92 school year, while grades 6–12 attend classes in a building originally built in 1963 to house the first cooperative Linwood High School (SAU 68).

Clark's Bears, named Clark's Trading Post until 2019, is a visitor attraction in Lincoln, New Hampshire, United States, in the White Mountains. It is known for its trained bears and for the White Mountain Central Railroad, a 30-minute, 2.5-mile (4.0 km) steam-powered train ride. The attraction is located along U.S. Route 3, one mile (1.6 km) north of the village of North Woodstock and 9 miles (14 km) south of Franconia Notch.
