Kenmore is a city in King County, Washington, United States, along the northernmost shore of Lake Washington. It is a suburban commuter town at the mouth of the Sammamish River, 12 miles (19 km) northeast of downtown Seattle and 2 miles (3.2 km) west of Bothell. The population was 20,460 at the 2010 census. Kenmore Air Harbor is the largest seaplane-only passenger facility of its kind in the United States.Kenmore is connected to nearby areas by State Route 522 and the Burke-Gilman Trail, which both run east–west along the lakeshore. The city limits stretch north to the Snohomish County line and south to a border with Kirkland south of Saint Edward State Park and Bastyr University. Kenmore's official flower is the dahlia, bird the great blue heron, and evergreen the rhododendron.

The GTE Northwest Classic was a professional golf tournament in the Seattle area on the Senior PGA Tour. Played for ten seasons, from 1986 through 1995, its inaugural event was at Sahalee Country Club (now in Sammamish) and the last nine were at Inglewood Golf Club in Kenmore. The title sponsor was GTE Northwest, a local telephone operating company headquartered in Everett. Bruce Crampton was the only multiple winner, with victories at both venues; the only playoff was in 1994, won by Simon Hobday with a birdie on the third extra hole to defeat Jim Albus. The purse for the final edition in 1995 was $600,000, with a winner's share of $90,000, which was at the low end of the scale. The sponsors opted not to renew for 1996 and the event was discontinued.The senior tour returned to the Seattle area in 2005 with the Boeing Classic at TPC Snoqualmie Ridge in Snoqualmie.

Inglewood Golf Club is a private golf club in the northwest United States in Kenmore, Washington. Founded 104 years ago in 1919 and opened for play in July 1921, it is located at the north end of Lake Washington, northeast of Seattle. Inglewood was designed by A. Vernon "Mac" Macan, a leading golf course architect of the time. Born in Dublin, Ireland, in 1882, Macan was a highly educated man, attending Shrewsbury and studying law at Trinity College. In 1908, Macan emigrated to Canada, and was the architect for many golf courses in British Columbia and the northwestern U.S., including Royal Colwood, Broadmoor, Fircrest, Columbia Edgewater, Hillcrest, and Colwood National. Tour events held at Inglewood include the PGA Tour's Seattle Open (1936, 1963, 1965), and the GTE Northwest Classic (1987–1995) on the senior tour.

The Sammamish River (also known as Sammamish Slough) flows through north King County, Washington for about 14 miles (23 km), draining Lake Sammamish into Lake Washington. Along its course, the Sammamish River flows through Redmond, Woodinville, Bothell, and Kenmore. The river is named after the native people who once lived along its entire length.

Bothell High School is located in Bothell, Washington, United States, and is one of four high schools in the Northshore School District. Approximately 1,500 students in grades 9 through 12 attend the school, which is a member of the KingCo 4A athletic conference. The high school has alternated between in-person and online classes and has also had to close temporarily due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As of January 2022, Bothell high school classes are all online.

Inglemoor High School is a public high school located in Kenmore, Washington, United States. It is one of the largest high schools in the state of Washington and has an average of 30 students per teacher. As of 2017, the student population was approximately 1,600 students in grades 9–12. Starting from the 2017 school year, the school accommodates 9th grade as well. Inglemoor's feeder schools are Kenmore Middle School and Northshore Middle School, and Arrowhead, Kenmore, Lockwood, Moorlands, Shelton View, and Woodmoor Elementary Schools. In addition, Inglemoor accepts waivers due to the popularity of its International Baccalaureate program.

Saint Edward Seminary (sometimes Saint Edward's Seminary) was an institution for developing Catholic priests in the US state of Washington. Dedicated to Saint Edward the Confessor and located in Kenmore, it operated for 46 years before closing in 1976. The seminary and most of its grounds now constitute Saint Edward State Park. The seminary was located on a 366 acres (148 ha; 0.572 sq mi) property purchased in the late 1920s. Building plans were scaled back in 1929 due to the Great Depression. In 1931, the seminary opened as a minor seminary; it became a major (college level) seminary in 1935. In 1958, Saint Thomas the Apostle Seminary opened as a major seminary on 50 acres of the site and St. Edward continued as a minor seminary. The Catholic Archdiocese of Seattle closed St. Edward in 1976 and sold it to the State of Washington in 1977. It became Saint Edward State Park in 1978. After St. Thomas closed, Bastyr University leased and later bought that campus. The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission entered into an agreement with Daniels Realty Development to completely restore the historic Seminary building. The grand opening of the new Lodge at Saint Edward Park as a hotel, spa and restaurant was May 7, 2021.

Bastyr University is a private alternative medicine university with campuses in Kenmore, Washington, and San Diego, California. Programs include naturopathy, acupuncture, Traditional Asian medicine, nutrition, herbal medicine, ayurvedic medicine, psychology, and midwifery. Some of Bastyr's programs teach and research topics that are considered pseudoscience, quackery, and fake by the scientific and medical communities. Quackwatch, a group against health fraud, put Bastyr University on its list of "questionable organizations" as a school which is "accredited but not recommended".Bastyr University and similar naturopathic programs are not accredited as medical schools but as special programs that are overseen by a naturopathic council which is not required to be scientific. Bastyr's naturopathic program has been accused by critics of misrepresenting its medical rigor and its ability to train primary care clinicians.

Saint Edward State Park is a 316-acre (128 ha)-park in Kenmore, Washington and Kirkland, Washington. It is part of the Washington State Park System. Before becoming a Catholic seminary and later a state park, the area was logged in the 19th century and again in the 1920s. A series of trails runs through the park for bicyclists and hikers. The forest canopy is primarily made up of the Coast Douglas-fir, Western Redcedar, Bigleaf Maple, Pacific Madrone and Western Hemlock. Its dense carpet includes many varieties of fern (mainly Western Sword Fern), shrub and moss. It is flanked on the west by an undeveloped beach on Lake Washington. The park surrounds the Saint Thomas Center, which houses Bastyr University.

Pop Keeney Stadium is an outdoor stadium in Bothell, Washington, a suburb northeast of Seattle. It hosts high school football games and graduation ceremonies for the four traditional high schools of the Northshore School District: Bothell, Inglemoor, North Creek, and Woodinville. Pop Keeney has also hosted both mens lacrosse games as well as state soccer playoffs for both boys and girls. The stadium is named after Harold 'Pop' Keeney, Bothell's first football coach, and a member of one of Bothell's pioneer families.In 2008, several Bothell high school alumni began raising money for a new replay-capable scoreboard. Donations arrived from all around the country, raising $160,000 altogether. The scoreboard was installed in 2009 as only the second of its kind in the state.The Northshore 2010 Capital Projects Bond included a project to renovate the stadium, including updates to lighting, stands, and other facilities.In 2016, the McMenamins restaurant/hotel/brewery complex opened in the buildings of the W. A. Anderson School next to Pop Keeney Stadium. It is now a common pre-game tailgate location for many fans attending games at the stadium. In 2019, the Seattle Seahawks announced they would hold one special practice at Pop Keeney on August 3. The practice included performances by the Seahawks Dancers and Blue Thunder drum line as well as photo opportunities with team mascots Blitz and Boom.

The Sammamish River Trail is a 10.1-mile (16.3 km) bike path and recreational trail in King County, Washington that runs along the Sammamish River from Blythe Park in Bothell to Marymoor Park in Redmond as part of the “Locks to Lakes Corridor.” It connects to the Burke-Gilman Trail at its north western end, and to the Redmond Central Connector at its south eastern end.The trail is paved for bicycle, inline-skate and pedestrian use and is paralleled for most of its length by an unpaved equestrian trail. It passes near the Chateau Ste. Michelle, Columbia and Silver Lake wineries in Woodinville, as well as the former site of the Redhook Ale brewery, which is now leased by DeLille Cellars, Sparkman Cellars and Teatro ZinZanni.The trail has a very slight grade for its entire length. Other trails connecting with the Sammamish River Trail include the Burke-Gilman Trail, Redmond Central Connector, East Lake Sammamish Trail, Tolt Pipeline Trail and Puget Power trail.

The Harry Vanderbilt Wurdemann House, also known as the Wurdemann House, is a private home in Lake Forest Park, Washington. Built in 1914 and listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1990, it was one of the first houses in Lake Forest Park.
