The Protestant Church of Plötzensee (German: Gemeindezentrum Plötzensee) is situated in Berlin-Charlottenburg-Nord and was inaugurated in 1970 as the second church building of the Protestant Congregation in North-Charlottenburg within the Evangelical Church of Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia. As it is located close to the former Plötzensee Prison, the church-building was designed as a memorial for the victims of National Socialism. The paintings Plötzenseer Totentanz (Plötzensee Danse Macabre) painted by the Viennese artist Alfred Hrdlicka are an important part of this church.

Charlottenburg-Nord (German pronunciation: [ʃaʁˈlɔtn̩bʊʁk nɔʁt], literally "Charlottenburg North") is a locality (Ortsteil) in the northern part of the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf borough of Berlin, Germany. It is chiefly composed of after-war housing estates, allotment gardens and commercial zones. The locality comprises the Großsiedlung Siemensstadt, part of the Berlin Modernism Housing Estates UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as Plötzensee Prison.

Jakob-Kaiser-Platz is a metro station on the Berlin U-Bahn line U7, located in the Charlottenburg-Nord district. It was opened on 1 October 1980 (architect R.G.Rümmler) with the line's extension from Richard-Wagner-Platz to Rohrdamm. The eponymous traffic circle located above the station is named after politician and Resistance fighter Jakob Kaiser (1888–1961). The next station going eastbound is Jungfernheide (change there for DB and S-Bahn)

Jungfernheide (German pronunciation: [ˌjʊŋfɐnˈhaɪ̯də] (listen)) is an area of forest and heathland located in Berlin in the present-day district of Charlottenburg-Nord, a locality of the borough of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. Formerly a large forested area, it was progressively reduced in size through development and military use. The recently closed Tegel Airport now divides the remainder, with Volkspark Jungfernheide (Jungfernheidepark) to the south, and a larger still-forested region between the airport and Lake Tegel. With the creation of Greater Berlin in 1920, Charlottenburg was joined with the former districts of Heerstraße and Jungfernheide to become the seventh district of Berlin.

Rocket Launch Site Berlin (Raketenflugplatz Berlin) was the launch site of the Space Club (Verein für Raumschiffahrt) in Berlin-Reinickendorf at 52°33' N and 13°18' E directly adjacent to the current site of the Airport Berlin-Tegel in an area that is now Cité Pasteur. It was inaugurated in September 1930, using the site and the buildings of a disused French ammunitions depot which Rudolf Nebel managed to rent from the Prussian war ministry. The Space Club used the four-square-kilometer area to develop and test two models of liquid fuel rockets, Mirak and Repulsor. Many of the rockets failed, but some reached altitudes of approximately 100 metres, and later, 4000 metres. On 30 September 1933, Rocket Launch Site Berlin closed under the pretext of an unpaid water bill. Subsequently, the Nazi-era military took over and classified the nascent research into rocket technology. According to Nebel, the tests of the rocket engines were audible as from as far away as Potsdamer Platz and over time attracted considerable attention from the press who dubbed the team of engineers The Fools of Tegel ("Die Narren von Tegel").

The Westhafen Canal, or Westhafenkanal in German, is a canal in Berlin, Germany. The 3.1-kilometre (1.9 mi) long canal connects with the Westhafen inland port and the Berlin-Spandau Ship Canal at its eastern end, and with the River Spree in Charlottenburg at its western end. It has no locks.Construction was begun in 1938, but was interrupted by the Second World War, and only completed between 1954 and 1956. The Westhafen Canal partially replaces the Charlottenburg Canal, which provided an earlier connection between the Berlin-Spandau Ship Canal and the River Spree. The section of the Charlottenburg Canal that paralleled the Westhafen Canal has since been abandoned, whilst the remaining section now provides a second link from the Westhafen Canal to the River Spree and to the Landwehr Canal at Spreekreuz.

Berlin Jungfernheide is a railway station located at Charlottenburg-Nord, in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district of Berlin, served by the S-Bahn lines and , the U-Bahn line and Regional-Express trains of the Deutsche Bahn. Its name literally translates into "maidens' heathland"; it was named after the Jungfernheide, a former large forest in the proximity of this station.

Obelisk 11 March (full title: 11 March, This could be a Day of Historical Importance) is a 1979 outdoor obelisk memorial by the Yugoslav conceptual artist Braco Dimitrijević. It is located in the north-eastern end of the Schloss Charlottenburg park in Berlin, where it can be viewed during daylight hours, year-round. No admission fee required. The obelisk is a commemoration of an arbitrary date, in fact the result of a chance meeting on a street in West Berlin, 1976. This "obelisk beyond history," as Dimitrijević has labeled it, is an early example of both a large-scale conceptual art work and an anti-monument. The project, initiated by the artist during a residency in Berlin in 1976, was completed in 1979 with the financial assistance of the Senate of Berlin, the Berlin Lottery Foundation, DAAD and the former Verwaltung der Staatlichen Schlösser und Gärten in West Berlin.

Halemweg is a station on the Berlin U-Bahn line U7, located in the Charlottenburg-Nord district. It was opened on 1 October 1980 (architect R.G.Rümmler) with the line's extension from Richard-Wagner-Platz to Rohrdamm. The eponymous neighborhood street is named after Resistance fighter Nikolaus von Halem, who was executed in Brandenburg-Görden Prison on 9 October 1944. The next station is Jakob-Kaiser-Platz.

Nikolaus Christoph von Halem (15 March 1905 – 9 October 1944) was a German lawyer, businessman, and resistance fighter against Nazism.

The Landgericht Berlin is a regional court in Berlin, divided into two divisions for civil and criminal cases. In the German court hierarchy, it is above the eleven local courts (Amtsgerichte) of the city and below the Kammergericht, which is the highest regional court of Berlin. The Landgericht Berlin is the largest Landgericht in Germany, with about 900 employees.

Mierendorffplatz is a station on the Berlin U-Bahn line in Charlottenburg. It was opened on 1 October 1980 with the line's extension from Richard-Wagner-Platz to Rohrdamm. The eponymous square is named after politician and Resistance fighter Carlo Mierendorff (1897–1943). Architect Rümmler designed this station walls like the pattern of a M as in Mierendorffplatz. The next station is Richard Wagner Platz.
