The Hope Webbing Company Mill is a historic textile mill at 999-1005 Main Street in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The three brick buildings on this 7-acre (2.8 ha) are the surviving elements of what was once a larger complex, extending across Esten Avenue. The oldest portion of the main mill and the boiler house were built in 1889, with the mill growing by numerous additions through 1914. The preparing building was built in 1902 and enlarged in 1913. The Hope Webbing Company was established in 1883, and used these premises to manufacture narrow fabrics (less than 6 inches (15 cm) in width) using many different types of fibers, including cotton, jute, wool, and silk. The company occupied all or part of the premises until 1994, when it moved its remaining production to Cumberland.The mill was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

The Miriam Hospital is a private, not-for-profit hospital at 164 Summit Avenue in Providence, in the U.S. state of Rhode Island. It is a major teaching affiliate of the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Northup Avenue Yard (also known as Northrup Avenue Yard) is a rail yard located in Providence and Pawtucket, Rhode Island, in the United States. The location has been the site of a rail yard since at least 1899. It was significantly expanded by the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad between 1918 and 1921 and made into a hump yard. The hump was removed around 1970, after Penn Central Transportation Company took over the New Haven in 1969. Under Penn Central, the yard was downsized and the hump removed. Conrail superseded Penn Central in 1976 and sold off the yard to the Providence and Worcester Railroad in 1982. In the early 1980s, Amtrak established facilities at the yard to support its maintenance of way operations along the Northeast Corridor. A layover facility for MBTA Commuter Rail was constructed at the yard in 2006.

Hope is a neighborhood on the northern border of Providence, Rhode Island. To the west, it is bounded by North Main Street, the North Burial Ground, and Interstate 95, while Rochambeau Ave, Hope Street, and the Providence-Pawtucket city line roughly delineate its boundaries to the south, east, and north respectively. Hope is sometimes referred to as "Summit", named for the street that runs through the middle of the neighborhood. Though "Hope" is officially recognized, residents and the local neighborhood organization more often use "Summit".

The Summit Historic District is a residential historic district in northeastern Providence, Rhode Island. It is bounded on the east by Summit Avenue, the south by Rochambeau Avenue, the west by Camp Street, and the north by Memorial Road and Creston Way. It contains 155 houses, most of which were built between 1918 and 1938. The area was annexed by Providence in 1874 and platted out of farmland in 1916, and represents a typical suburban development of the period. Most of these houses are set on lots between 4,500 and 5,500 square feet in size, although there are some double lots. Single family homes predominate, with a number of two- and three-family houses present. Architecturally the houses are heterogeneous, with styles ranging from the late Queen Anne to the Colonial and Tudor Revivals. The only significant non-residential structure in the district is Temple Beth Shalom at 120 Rochambeau Avenue, which does not contribute to its significance.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

The Foster–Payne House is a historic house at 25 Belmont Street in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Built in 1878, the two-story multi-gabled house is distinguished by its clapboarded and exterior woodwork and opulent parlors in the interior. The property also has a matching carriagehouse with gable roof and cupola. The house was originally constructed and owned by Theodore Waters Foster, but it was sold to George W. Payne in 1882. The Foster–Payne House is architecturally significant as a well-designed and well-preserved late 19th century suburban residence. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Festival Ballet Providence is a ballet company located in Providence, Rhode Island, United States. Festival Ballet performs at Providence Performing Arts Center, Veterans Memorial Auditorium (Providence, Rhode Island), and their own Black Box Theatre.

The Jeremiah Dexter House is a historic colonial house in Providence, Rhode Island. It is a 1+1⁄2-story gambrel-roofed wood-frame structure, built in 1754 for printer Jeremiah Dexter on farm land that was originally granted to his ancestor Gregory Dexter, a friend and printer for Roger Williams. It is five bays wide, with a large central chimney typical of the period, and is one of the few surviving colonial-era farmhouses in the city. The Dexter farm is further notable as the site where French Army troops were stationed upon their return from Virginia in 1782, during the American Revolutionary War. The paved parking lot which surrounds the house on two sides is believed to contain archaeological remains of the French camp.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Hope Street is a major two lane bidirectional street running about three miles north to south on the East Side of Providence, Rhode Island. The street serves as a main artery serving most of the East Side district and connects the East Side to Pawtucket at the north, where it continues as East Avenue. It intersects with other important streets on the East Side including Blackstone Boulevard, Waterman Street, Angell Street, Thayer Street, and Wickenden Street. Unlike many major city arteries, Hope Street is predominantly residential, and most of the local stores and offices are located on other streets that branch off. Small areas, like the Hope Street Village, house local business and restaurants. Hope Street also runs through the eastern side of Brown University's campus. Hope High School (Rhode Island) is located on the street. Almost all of Hope Street is serviced by RIPTA's route 42, which provides transit services between Pawtucket and Downtown Providence.

The Susan S. and Edward J. Cutler House is a historic house in Providence, Rhode Island. It is an L-shaped 1+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure, with a gabled roof and a single-story porch and vestibule in the crook of the L. The front facade has a rectangular projecting bay, with panels below the windows, and a bracketed hip roof. The front and side gables both feature Stick style decorative woodwork. The entry porch roof is bracketed, matching the front bay, and has a jigsawn balustrade. The interior features late Victorian woodwork, plasterwork and original hardware. The house was built in 1880, probably from plans in a published pattern book, and was the first to be built in a relatively new subdivision on Providence's north side. It is a well-preserved example of a "picturesque cottage", a style popularized by a number of 19th-century architects.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

The Rochambeau Library— A Community Library of Providence is an historic public library building at 708 Hope Street in Providence, Rhode Island. It is a single-story brick structure with limestone trim, designed by Wallis E. Howe and built in 1930. It has a symmetrical main facade, with the entrance in the center, sheltered by a porch supported by fluted Corinthian columns. The flanking bays are pavilions with gable fronts. A modern two-level addition with a glass front has been made to the north side of the building. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

Art's Auto is a historic former service station at 5–7 Lonsdale Avenue in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. It is a single-story brick structure with a flat roof and a series of towers capped by pointed roofs. It was erected as an automotive service station in 1927–28 for Arthur Normand at a time when gasoline producers competed, in part, by the shape and style of their service stations. This station is one of two stations known to survive from this period in the state. Its front facade has a dramatic presentation, with square towers topped by pyramidal roofs at the corners, and a projecting round bay in the center topped by a conical roof, with windows arrayed around the bay and on its flanks. The building is currently used as an office for Anchor Financial. Art's Auto was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
