Clemens House—Columbia Brewery District is a historic district in St. Louis, Missouri. Bounded by Maiden Lane, Cass Ave., Twenty-first, Helen, and Howard Sts., the district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. A boundary increase, roughly bounded by St. Louis Ave., N. Florissant Ave., Maiden Lane, and N. Twenty-first and N. Twentieth Sts. was added in 1986. The district includes single dwellings, at least one religious structure and manufacturing facilities. Architectural styles include Mid 19th Century Revival, Late 19th And 20th Century Revivals, Romanesque and Late Victorian.

St. Stanislaus Kostka Church is an independent Catholic church located in the city of St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Formerly a parish belonging to the Catholic Church, it was established in 1880 to serve the Polish community in the Archdiocese of St. Louis. It is considered to be the best example of the opulent Polish Cathedral style of architecture west of the Mississippi River. The church is notable for a highly publicized dispute over control of the parish and its assets between the church's lay board of directors and the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of St. Louis. In December 2005, Archbishop Raymond Leo Burke declared the parish's board members and its priest, Marek Bozek, excommunicated and announced his intention to disband the parish with the likelihood that the premises would be sold. The parish responded by holding a Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve attended by 1,500 to 2,000 people. The church and the archdiocese settled their legal dispute in 2013. The parish continues to be maintained and managed by its parishioners as a not-for-profit corporation, calling itself "Catholic", but unaffiliated with the Roman Catholic Church.

The St. Louis Fire Department (STLFD or STL City Fire) provides emergency medical services, fire cause determination, fire prevention, fire suppression, hazardous materials mitigation, and rescue services to the city of St. Louis, Missouri. The department is also the second oldest professional and fully paid fire department in the United States. The STLFD is responsible for 69.0 square miles (179 km2) and has a population of approximately 294,890 with a daytime population of over 2 million.The Fire Department Division is a division of the St. Louis Public Safety Department. The St. Louis Fire Department is led by the Fire Commissioner, currently Dennis M. Jenkerson. The Fire Commissioner and Chief is appointed by the Director of Public Safety and each bureau is commanded by a Deputy Fire Chief, who oversees the department's bureaus. Administrative Services, Fire Prevention, Operations, Support Services, Emergency Medical Services are the major operational units in the St. Louis Fire Department.

Union Grounds, also known as Union Base Ball Park, was a baseball grounds in St. Louis, Missouri. It was home to the St. Louis Maroons of the Union Association during the 1884 season and the Maroons entry in the National League in 1885 and 1886. Both the Union Association and the St. Louis Maroons were the brainchild of Henry Lucas, and local newspapers often called the venue "the Lucas Park" or just "Lucas Park". The ballpark was bounded by Jefferson Avenue (west, first base); Howard Street (north, third base); 25th Street (east, left field); and Cass Avenue (south, right field). Mullanphy Street now cuts through what was once right and center fields.

Lucas Avenue Industrial Historic District is a manufacturing facility bounded by Washington, Delmar, 20th & 21 Streets, St. Louis, Missouri. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. A boundary increase, roughly bounded by Locust St., Delmar, and 19th and 20th Sts. was added in 2007. Included in the boundary increase are a warehouse, a manufacturing facility and a communications facility.

St. Louis is located at 38°38′53″N 90°12′44″W.The city is built primarily on bluffs and terraces that rise 100–200 feet (30–61 m) above the western banks of the Mississippi River, just south of the Missouri-Mississippi confluence. Much of the area is a fertile and gently rolling prairie that features low hills and broad, shallow valleys. Both the Mississippi River and the Missouri River have cut large valleys with wide flood plains. Limestone and dolomite of the Mississippian epoch underlies the area and much of the city is a karst area, with numerous sinkholes and caves, although most of the caves have been sealed shut; many springs are visible along the riverfront. Significant deposits of coal, brick clay, and millerite ore were once mined in the city, and the predominant surface rock, the St. Louis Limestone, is used as dimension stone and rubble for construction. The St. Louis Geologic fault is exposed along the bluffs and was the source of several historic minor earthquakes; it is part of the St. Louis Anticline which has some petroleum and natural gas deposits outside of the city. St. Louis is also just north of the New Madrid Seismic Zone which in 1811–12 produced a series of earthquakes that are the largest known in the contiguous United States. Seismologists estimate 90% probability of a magnitude 6.0 earthquake by 2040 and 7-10% probability of a magnitude 8.0, such tremors could create significant damage across a large region of the central U.S. including St. Louis. Near the southern boundary of the City of St. Louis (separating it from St. Louis County) is the River des Peres, virtually the only river or stream within the city limits that is not entirely underground. Most of River des Peres was either channelized or put underground in the 1920s and early 1930s. The lower section of the river was the site of some of the worst flooding of the Great Flood of 1993. Near the central, western boundary of the city is Forest Park, site of the 1904 World's fair, the Louisiana Purchase Exposition of 1904, and the 1904 Summer Olympics, the first Olympic Games held in North America. At the time, St. Louis was the fourth most populous city in the United States. The Missouri River forms the northern border of St. Louis County, exclusive of a few areas where the river has changed its course. The Meramec River forms most of its southern border. To the east is the City and the Mississippi River. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 171.3 km² (66.2 mi²). 160.4 km² (61.9 mi²) of it is land and 11.0 km² (4.2 mi² or 6.39%) of it is water.

The Wrought Iron Range Company Building is a Tudor Revival style building in St. Louis, Missouri that was built in 1926. The Wrought Iron Range Company was founded by Henry Harrison Culver and his brothers Walter and Licius. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.It was designed in 1925 by St. Louis architect by Albert Knell. It is a two-story steel frame and brick building with a stuccoed and half-timbered second story. It has a hipped roof with a series of cross gables and brick piers that simulate chimneys.

The Willys–Overland Building is a former automobile dealership and distribution building for the Willys-Overland Company in St. Louis, Missouri located at 2300 Locust Street. The building was the home of the company's main dealership and distributor in St. Louis from its completion in February 1917 until 1932, and upon its opening, it hosted the first indoor St. Louis Auto Show.The building's exterior is a six-story brick facade with large windows on all sides and minimal ornamentation. Originally, the building had a showroom on its first floor, while upper floors included storage space and auto assembly rooms, connected by large freight elevators. The building also contained a body paint shop and a repair shop on its upper floors; to support the weight of the automobiles and shops, the floors are nearly one foot thick poured concrete.At the time of its construction, it was the largest automobile dealership and distribution center in St. Louis. As a result of its size, the organizers of the St. Louis Auto Show negotiated to rent the building for their annual show, which since 1907 had been held outdoors at Forest Park Highlands. By 1927, the company had expanded such that its used car dealership moved to an adjacent building and the company was operating a dozen dealerships in the area, but the building remained the corporations regional headquarters through 1932.However, the Great Depression brought economic hardship to the company, and in 1932, the building was vacated; it remained vacant through 1935, when it was sold to the American Fixture and Manufacturing Company. In 1963, it again was sold, and since that time various small businesses occupied the first floor with little activity on its upper floors. In 1999, the building was nominated and accepted to the National Register of Historic Places, and it underwent renovations by SJI Companies. In 2005, the building received another renovation, costing $12 million, and it was renamed the NSI Building. It currently is for sale for $17 million.

Carr Square is a neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. The Downtown neighborhood is bounded by Cass Avenue on the North, Carr Street on the South, North Tucker Boulevard and North 13th Street on the East, and North Jefferson on the West.

The Scott Joplin House State Historic Site is located at 2658 Delmar Boulevard in St. Louis, Missouri. It preserves the Scott Joplin Residence, the home of composer Scott Joplin from 1901 to 1903. The house and its surroundings are maintained by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources as a state historic site. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places and designated a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 1976.

The Berry Motor Car Service Building, at 2220 Washington Ave in St. Louis, Missouri, was built in 1937. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010. The listing included two contributing buildings.The one-story building served as an automobile service facility for the Berry Motor Car Company (also known as the Halsey-Packard Building) at 2201-2211 Locust Street (also listed on the National Register). It was designed by architect Otto Krieg and built by contractor John W. Morrison.

The Weber Implement and Automobile Company Building, at 1815 Locust St. in St. Louis, Missouri, was built in 1919. It was designed by architect Preston J. Bradshaw. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.It is a three-story Classical Revival-style building.It has also been known as Tire Mart Inc..
