Cape D'Aguilar

Cape D'Aguilar Marine Reserve (Chinese: 鶴咀海岸保護區) is the only Marine Reserve (distinct from Marine Parks) in Hong Kong. It is located at the far south-east corner of Hong Kong Island and covers an area of just 20 hectares, mainly between Kau Pei Chau and the rocky coastline. It was designated in July 1996 under the Marine Parks Ordinance to protect the rocky shores and the subtidal habitats in the area. Cape D'Aguilar Marine Reserve is managed by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) with on-site assistance from the Swire Institute of Marine Science, a research faculty of the University of Hong Kong.

Kau Pei Chau is an uninhabited islet located off the coast of Hong Kong Island, about 50 metres off the tip of Cape D'Aguilar. Administratively, it is part of Southern District. Kau Pei Chau has a length of 1.34 kilometres (0.83 mi). It is located directly south of the Cape D’Aguilar Marine Reserve.

Tai Tau Chau is an island in the Southern District, Hong Kong. Geographically, it is located in the southern Hong Kong Island. It connected to the Shek O Headland by a footbridge and a gravelbar (tombolo) under it. The island itself is uninhabited.

Shek O Beach is a gazetted beach located facing Island Bay in Shek O, Southern District, Hong Kong. The beach has barbecue pits and is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Government. The beach is about 230 metres long and is rated as Grade 1 by the Environmental Protection Department for its water quality.

Shek O is an area of the south-eastern part of Hong Kong Island, in Hong Kong. It can refers to Shek O village or Shek O Peninsula or Shek O Headland. Administratively, they are part of Southern District.

Rocky Bay Beach is a gazetted beach located behind Shek O Beach in Shek O, Southern District, Hong Kong. The beach is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Government. The beach did not get its grading and it is currently not open for swimming as no lifeguard facilities are available.

D'Aguilar Peninsula (Chinese: 鶴咀半島) is located in southeastern Hong Kong Island, in the Southern District of Hong Kong. It is named after Major-General Sir George Charles d'Aguilar. Cape D'Aguilar is located in the southeastern part of D'Aguilar Peninsula. It is worth noting that Hok Tsui (Chinese: 鶴咀) actually refers to a different cape to the southwest of the peninsula.

Beaufort Island is a member of the Po Toi group of islands in Hong Kong. Its size is about 120 ha (300 acres) while its highest point is 270 m (890 ft) above sea level. The channel next to Beaufort Island called Lo Chau Mun, or Beaufort Channel, is the deepest part of Hong Kong at 66 m (217 ft) below sea level.

Tai Tam Bay (Chinese: 大潭灣) is a bay in the Tai Tam area, in the southeastern part of Hong Kong Island, in the Southern District of Hong Kong.

The Dragon's Back (Chinese: 龍脊) is a mountain ridge in southeastern Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong that passes through Shek O Peak. It lies within the Shek O Country Park. In 2019, the Dragon's Back Trail was selected by CNN as one of the world's 23 best trails. Dragon's Back is part of Stage 8 of the Hong Kong Trail.

Shek O Country Park is a rural marine park located on Shek O, Southern District, Hong Kong and facing the South China Sea. The 701-hectare park opened on 21 September 1979. Urban hiking is extremely popular here, there are three exceptional hiking trails, one of which Time Magazine Asia declared the best urban hiking trail in Asia, the Dragon's Back.The spider species Uroballus carlei was discovered at this park.

Po Toi (commonly Chinese: 蒲台島, originally Chinese: 蒲苔島) is the main island of the Po Toi Islands and the southernmost island of Hong Kong, with an area of 3.69 km².
