The Stockwood Park Academy is a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in Rotheram Avenue Luton, Bedfordshire, England and is part of The Shared Learning Trust, a multi-academy trust in Luton and Central Bedfordshire. The school converted to academy status on 1 September 2007, and was renamed Barnfield South Academy as part of the Barnfield Federation. In March 2011, the school moved to a new £30 million building situated on the old playing field of the former Rotheram High School site, equipped with ICT facilities, including a 300-seat theatre. Stockwood Park is a large urban park in Luton, Bedfordshire, in the Farley Hill estate. With period formal gardens, leading crafts museums, Stockwood Park Rugby Club and extensive golfing facilities, it is about 100 hectares in area.

Dallow is an inner area of Luton about a half mile (0.8 km) west of the town centre and a ward of the Borough of Luton, in the ceremonial county of Bedfordshire, England. The extended area along Dallow Road is roughly bounded by Hatters Way to the north, Ashburnham Road to the south, the M1 to the west and Brantwood Road to the east.

Woodside is a hamlet located in the Central Bedfordshire district of Bedfordshire, England. Located at the junction of Woodside Road and Grove Road, Woodside stands 546 feet above sea level. The underlying geology is a Chalk Group known as Lewes Nodular Chalk Formation and Seaford Chalk Formation which was deposited between 84 and 94 million years ago in the Cretaceous Period. The superficial geology is clay with flints, deposited in the Quaternary and Neogene Periods.It is probable that the settlement was established in the early Middle Ages through clearing the northern end of Caddington Wood by squatters seeking land outside Caddington Manor (hence the name "Woodside" and its linear shape). Most of the settlement stands on higher ground between two parallel valleys. The squatter development of Woodside continued into the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.A Baptist Church was established in the settlement in 1862, while St Andrew's Anglican Church was established in Woodside as the "Slip End Mission Church" in 1878.Today, Woodside forms part of the Slip End civil parish (where the 2011 Civil Parish population was included), and is located directly southwest of the M1 motorway. The motorway acts as the border between Woodside and the large town of Luton.

Stockwood Discovery Centre, formerly known as Stockwood Craft Museum, is one of two free admission museums situated in Luton (the other is Wardown Park Museum). The museums in Luton are a part of a charitable trust, Luton Culture. The discovery centre displays collections of local social history, archaeology, geology and rural crafts. It also houses the biggest collection of horse-drawn carriages in Europe, the Mossman Collection. The external part of the Discovery Centre features extensive gardens. The Period Gardens, ranging from the Elizabethan Knot Garden to the Dig for Victory Garden, were created by Luton Council from the mid-1980s onwards. Redevelopment work in 2007 included the building of the Sensory Garden, World Garden and Medicinal Garden. It is one of the few places in the country where the work of acclaimed artist Ian Hamilton Finlay can be seen on permanent display. Improvement Garden is a classical garden in which Ian Hamilton Finlay sculptures are an integral part of the landscape.

Chapel Langley is an inner city district of Luton, just south west of the town centre, in Bedfordshire, England. It is roughly bounded by Regent Street and Adelaide Street to the north, Wilsden Avenue and Bolingbroke Road to the south, Milton Road, Napier Road, and Grove Road to the west, and Castle Street and London Road to the east. Chapel Langley is one of the oldest areas of the now sprawling conurbation of Luton.On the edge of the town centre, the area contains 19th century terraced housing, churches and pubs, as well as some newer inter-war and post-war housing and flats.

Kenilworth Road, known affectionately as The Kenny, and The Old Girl, is an association football stadium in Bury Park, Luton, Bedfordshire, England. It has been the home ground of Luton Town since 1905. The stadium has also hosted women's and youth international matches, including the second leg of the 1984 European Competition for Women's Football final. The 11,500 all-seater stadium is situated in the district of Bury Park, one mile (1.6 km) west of the centre of Luton. It is named after the road which runs along one end of it, though its official address is 1 Maple Road. Kenilworth Road hosted football in the Southern League until 1920, then in the Football League until 2009, when Luton were relegated to the Conference Premier. It has hosted Football League matches once more since 2014. With Luton Town's promotion to the Premier League in 2023, the first Premier League game at Kenilworth Road was against West Ham United in September 2023. Floodlights were fitted in 1953, and the ground became all-seated in 1991. The record attendance of 30,069 was set in 1959, in an FA Cup sixth round replay against Blackpool. The ground is known for the unusual entrance to the Oak Road End, and the five-season ban on away supporters that Luton Town imposed following a riot by visiting fans in 1985.

Dunstable Road, also known as Bury Park, was a football ground in Luton, England. It was the home ground of Luton Town between 1897 and 1905.

Bury Park is an area of Luton, Bedfordshire, England. It is located 1 mile north west of the town centre on the A505 road to Dunstable. The area is roughly bounded by Claremont Road and Highfield Road to the north, Telford Way to the south, Hatters Way to the west, and the Midland Main Line to the east. Since the mid-1970s a large Muslim community have settled. Bury Park has a large commercial area specialising in fruit, vegetables, tech shops and all cultural clothing. There is a significant number of restaurants in the area, particularly serving Halal food. Kenilworth Road, the home of Luton Town F.C. is also located here.

The Mossman Carriage Collection is a museum housing a collection of horse-drawn vehicles in Stockwood Park, Luton, Bedfordshire. It is the largest collection of such vehicles in the United Kingdom, and includes original vehicles dating from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.

St Mary's Hospital was created from a workhouse situated on Dunstable Road in Luton. Several of the original buildings still exist today. Following the introduction of the National Health Service in 1948 the site became St Mary's Hospital and the central block of the main building is now a care home for elderly people. It is a Grade II listed building.

South is the name for a ward in the southern part of Luton, in the Luton district, in the ceremonial county of Bedfordshire, England. The ward includes New Town, Park Town, Chapel Langley, Capability Green and most of Luton town centre. Junction 10 of the M1 is just outside the ward. Both Luton Airport Parkway and Luton railway station are located within the ward. London Luton Airport is close by.
