Luton Castle was a 12th-century castle in the town of Luton, in the county of Bedfordshire, England (grid reference TL09062082).

New Town is a district of Luton, just south east of the town centre, in Bedfordshire, England. It is roughly bounded by Castle Street and London Road to the west, Seymour Road to the east, New Town Street to the north, and Cutenhoe Road to the south.

Our Lady Help of Christians Church is a Roman Catholic Parish church in Luton, Bedfordshire. It was founded in 1845 and the present church was built in 1910. It is situated on the corner of Castle Street and Victoria Street, next to the A505 road, in the town centre. It was designed in the Gothic Revival style and is the first Roman Catholic church built in Luton after the Reformation.

Stockwood Discovery Centre, formerly known as Stockwood Craft Museum, is one of two free admission museums situated in Luton (the other is Wardown Park Museum). The museums in Luton are a part of a charitable trust, Luton Culture. The discovery centre displays collections of local social history, archaeology, geology and rural crafts. It also houses the biggest collection of horse-drawn carriages in Europe, the Mossman Collection. The external part of the Discovery Centre features extensive gardens. The Period Gardens, ranging from the Elizabethan Knot Garden to the Dig for Victory Garden, were created by Luton Council from the mid-1980s onwards. Redevelopment work in 2007 included the building of the Sensory Garden, World Garden and Medicinal Garden. It is one of the few places in the country where the work of acclaimed artist Ian Hamilton Finlay can be seen on permanent display. Improvement Garden is a classical garden in which Ian Hamilton Finlay sculptures are an integral part of the landscape.

BBC Three Counties Radio is the BBC's local radio station serving the counties of Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. It broadcasts on FM, DAB, digital TV and via BBC Sounds from studios at Grove Park in Dunstable. According to RAJAR, the station has a weekly audience of 125,000 listeners and a 5.8% share as of December 2023.

Chapel Langley is an inner city district of Luton, just south west of the town centre, in Bedfordshire, England. It is roughly bounded by Regent Street and Adelaide Street to the north, Wilsden Avenue and Bolingbroke Road to the south, Milton Road, Napier Road, and Grove Road to the west, and Castle Street and London Road to the east. Chapel Langley is one of the oldest areas of the now sprawling conurbation of Luton.On the edge of the town centre, the area contains 19th century terraced housing, churches and pubs, as well as some newer inter-war and post-war housing and flats.

St Christopher Iba Mar Diop College of Medicine was a medical training establishment in Luton, England, as a college within the University El Hadji Ibrahima Niasse of Dakar, Senegal. The Luton, England campus was closed in 2011.Degrees from this establishment have been listed as unacceptable by the General Medical Council in the United Kingdom and some state governments in the United States. The medical college is listed in the International Medical Education Directory (IMED). According to the IMED listing, the college was formerly named St. Christopher's College of Medicine, and diplomas prior to 2006 were awarded under that name rather than by the university.

The Mossman Carriage Collection is a museum housing a collection of horse-drawn vehicles in Stockwood Park, Luton, Bedfordshire. It is the largest collection of such vehicles in the United Kingdom, and includes original vehicles dating from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.

Stockwood Park is a large urban park in Luton, Bedfordshire, in the Farley Hill estate. With period formal gardens, leading crafts museums, Stockwood Park Rugby Club and extensive golfing facilities, it is about 100 hectares in area.

Luton ( ) is a town and unitary authority with borough status in Bedfordshire, England, with a population at the 2021 census of 225,262.The town is on the River Lea, 30 miles (50 km) north-west of London, 18 miles (29 km) north-west of Hertford, 20 miles (32 km) south of Bedford and 22.5 miles (36.2 km) south-east of Milton Keynes. The town's foundation dates to the sixth century as a Saxon settlement on the river, from which Luton derives its name. Luton is recorded in the Domesday Book as Loitone and Lintone. One of the largest churches in Bedfordshire, St Mary's Church, was built in the 12th century. They play at Kenilworth Road, their home since 1905; planning permission for a new larger stadium was approved in 2019. Luton International Carnival, the largest one-day carnival in Europe, is held on the day before the last Monday in May; the Saint Patrick's festival is held on the weekend nearest to Saint Patrick's Day as there is a large Irish community in Luton. The town also has a large Pakistani community which, along with the Irish, were attracted to employment at the Vauxhall car plant. Luton Hoo is an English country house, estate and Grade I listed building originally designed by Scottish architect Robert Adam but later transformed to the designs of Robert Smirke.

Luton Corporation Tramways served the town of Luton in Bedfordshire from 21 February 1908 until 16 April 1932.
