Denver Airport is a commuter rail station on the A Line in Denver, Colorado, serving Denver International Airport. The A Line begins at the airport and travels west to Union Station in Downtown Denver in about 27 minutes via six intermediate stops. Trains run about every 15 minutes.

Denver International Airport (IATA: DEN, ICAO: KDEN, FAA LID: DEN), locally known as DIA, is an international airport in the Western United States, primarily serving metropolitan Denver, Colorado, as well as the greater Front Range Urban Corridor. At 33,531 acres (52.4 sq mi; 135.7 km2), it is the largest airport in the Western Hemisphere by land area and the second largest on Earth, behind King Fahd International Airport. Runway 16R/34L, with a length of 16,000 feet (3.03 mi; 4.88 km), is the longest public use runway in North America and the seventh longest on Earth. The airport is 25 miles (40 km) driving distance northeast of Downtown Denver, 19 miles (31 km) farther than the former Stapleton International Airport, the facility DEN replaced: the airport land was originally part of Adams County until the construction of the airport in 1995, and is primarily located in between Commerce City and Aurora with the connecting strip of neighborhoods (on the route of Peña Blvd) being the only connection with the rest of the city of Denver. Many airport-related services, such as hotels and restaurants, are located within Denver city limits.Opened in 1995, DEN currently serves 25 different airlines offering non-stop service to over 215 destinations throughout the Americas, Europe, and Asia; it was the fourth airport in the U.S. to exceed 200 destinations. The airport is a major hub for United Airlines and is the largest operating base for both Frontier Airlines and Southwest Airlines. With over 35,000 employees, the airport is the largest employer in Colorado. The airport is located on the western edge of the Great Plains and within sight of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. In both 2021 and 2022, DEN was the third busiest airport in the world as well as the third busiest airport in the United States by passenger traffic; DEN has been among the top 20 busiest airports in the world every year since 2000.

Continental Airlines Flight 1404 was a Continental Airlines flight from Denver International Airport in Denver, Colorado, to George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas. On the evening of December 20, 2008, the flight crashed while taking off from Denver, resulting in two critical injuries, 36 noncritical injuries, and a hull loss of the Boeing 737-524 aircraft.

The Beierle Farm near Watkins, Colorado was started in 1890. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992 but was later delisted.It was farmed by Ray Beierle and family. He farmed there from 1929 to 1938, moved to a farm near Erie (about 30 miles away), then returned in 1945. The family remained at the Beierle Farm until 1990.It included Late 19th and Early 20th Century American Movements architecture. It was also known as Arter Farm, as Knapff Farm, and as Hill Farm. The NRHP listing included four contributing buildings, three contributing structures and one contributing site on 3 acres (1.2 ha).It was delisted from the National Register on November 7, 2007 after demolition.

Arrivo Corporation was a startup company in Los Angeles, California, that developed maglev rail. Arrivo initially attempted to commercialize a hyperloop, but abandoned the effort in November 2017 in favor of established transit technologies. In November 2017, Arrivo proposed a plan for a 200 mph (322 km/h) maglev system in Colorado that would transport automobiles to and from Denver International Airport.On December 14, 2018, Arrivo reportedly shut down due to being unable to secure Series A funding.

Aetna Estates is an unincorporated community and a census-designated place (CDP) located in and governed by Arapahoe County, Colorado, United States. The CDP is a part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population of the Aetna Estates CDP was 1,496 at the United States Census 2020. The unincorporated community is surrounded by Aurora and lies in ZIP Code 80018.

61st & Peña station (sometimes stylized as 61st•Peña) is a Regional Transportation District (RTD) commuter rail station on the A Line in Denver, Colorado. The station, accessible from Tower Road is located along Peña Boulevard, the sixth eastbound station from Union Station in Downtown Denver and first westbound from Denver Airport. It is about 28 minutes from Union Station and nine minutes from Denver Airport. 61st Avenue provides access from Tower Road to the station. 61st & Peña station has a Denver International Airport owned 800-stall private park-and-ride lot not managed by RTD; it is not served by TheRide bus routes, unlike other A Line stations.The station, originally named "Peña Boulevard Station", was not originally in the public-private partnership construction and funding plans for the A Line. The station was a late addition to the A line project. 61st & Peña station opened on April 22, 2016, along with the rest of the A Line.The area surrounding the station is planned to be developed into a mixed-use, transit-oriented development called “Peña Station,” with offices and housing, part of a proposed airport city surrounding Denver International Airport. Nearby developments may include up to 2,500 residential units, 1,500 hotel rooms, 500,000 square feet (46,000 m2) of retail space, and 1 to 1.5 million square feet (93,000 to 139,000 m2) of offices.

Colorado's 6th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of Colorado. Located in central Colorado, the district encompasses much of the eastern part of the Denver metropolitan area, including all of Aurora, as well as portions of the southern (Centennial and Littleton) and northern metro area (Brighton and Henderson). The district is currently represented by Democrat Jason Crow. The district was created in 1983 as a result of the redistricting cycle after the 1980 census, and was originally a classic suburban Republican bastion; this was once the safest seat for Colorado Republicans outside of Colorado Springs. However, changing demographics in the Front Range, especially in Arapahoe County which went from a traditional conservative suburban/exurban stronghold to a densely populated, ethnically and culturally diverse Democratic-leaning inner suburban county, has made suburban Denver much friendlier to Democrats. The 2010 redistricting shifted the more rural, GOP-dominated sections of the district to the nearby 4th and added heavily populated and Democratic parts of Aurora, turning the 6th district into a Democratic-leaning swing district. However, Republicans are still competitive downballot, and the Democratic strength was limited to western Arapahoe County for much of its history, as the components of Douglas County and Adams County in the 6th were still Republican leaning: this changed in 2020, as Joe Biden and Representative Jason Crow won all county areas in the district. After 2020 redistricting, the 6th became a purely inner suburban district anchored in western Arapahoe County, although small parts of Jefferson, Douglas, and Adams Counties were included as well to completely take in the cities of Littleton and Aurora.

Barr Lake State Park is a Colorado state park established in 1977 in Adams County near Brighton, Colorado, USA. The 2,715-acre (10.99 km2) park has 12 miles (19 km) of trails, including an 8.8-mile (14.2 km) trail that circles Barr Lake. Fishing and boating are allowed in the northern half of the park. The southern half is a wildlife refuge, with several wildlife viewing stations and a nature center. Numerous bald eagles spend the winter at Barr Lake and one pair nests every year. The park is popular with birders; over 350 species have been observed. The headquarters of the Bird Conservancy of the Rockies is inside the park on the northwest side of the lake. Barr Lake is fed by the Burlington Ditch, which is diverted from the South Platte River. The namesake Barr Lake derives its name from one Mr. Barr, a railroad official.

40th Ave & Airport Blvd–Gateway Park station (sometimes stylized as 40th Ave & Airport Blvd•Gateway Park) is a Regional Transportation District (RTD) commuter rail station on the A Line in Aurora, Colorado. The station is the fifth eastbound station from Union Station in Downtown Denver and second westbound from Denver International Airport. It is about 23 minutes from Union Station and 14 minutes from Denver Airport. 40th Ave & Airport Blvd–Gateway Park station is also served by several bus routes and was integrated into a preexisting 1,079-space park-and-ride lot at the station site.The station opened on April 22, 2016, along with the rest of the A Line.
