Goregaon Assembly constituency is one of the 288 Vidhan Sabha (legislative assembly) constituencies in Maharashtra state in western India.

Isle of Bombay was one of the Seven Islands of Bombay, an archipelago of islands that were, in the eighteenth century, connected to form the area of the modern city of Bombay in India. The island was the main harbour and the Base of the British from where the city expanded.The island stretched from Malabar Hill on the west to Dongri in the East where it formed a natural harbour. To its north at the Malabar hill end lay the Island of Worli, while the Island of Mazgaon lay across a creek from the Dongri end. The island of Colaba and the Old Woman's Island lay to the south of Bombay isle.In the eighteenth century, the isle was merged with its neighbouring landmasses of Worli (in 1784 by the building of the Hornby Vellard) and with Colaba Island via the construction of the Colaba Causeway in 1838.

Film City or Dadasaheb Phalke Chitra Nagari is an integrated film studio complex situated near Sanjay Gandhi National Park in Goregaon East, Mumbai in India. It has several recording rooms, gardens, lakes, theatres and grounds that serve as the venue of many Bollywood and Marathi films. It was built in 1977 by the state government to provide facilities and concessions to the film industry. The plan for Film City was prepared and executed under the guidance of V. Shantaram. It was renamed Dadasaheb Phalke Chitra Nagari in 2001 in memory of India's first producer-director-screenwriter Dadasaheb Phalke, who is considered as father of the Indian film industry. It has been the shooting location for almost all Bollywood films. It has many types of location available for shooting including permanent sets of a temple, prison, court, lake, mountains, fountains, villages, picnic spots, gardens and a man-made waterfall. Film City spans more than 520 acres in the suburbs of Mumbai and has approximately 42 outdoor shooting locations and 16 studios.

Aarey JVLR is an At-Grade terminal metro station on the north–south corridor of the Aqua Line 3 of Mumbai Metro in Mumbai, India. This metro station was inaugurated on October 5, 2024, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, followed by the commencement of the metro service from October 7, 2024.

The Mahakali Caves, also Kondivite Caves, are a group of 19 rock-cut monuments built between 1st century BCE and 6th century CE.This Buddhist monastery is located in the eastern suburb of Andheri in the city of Mumbai (Bombay) in western India. The monument consists of two groups of rock-cut caves – 4 caves more to the north-west and 15 caves more to the south-east. Most caves are viharas and cells for monks, but Cave 9 of the south-eastern group is chaitya. Caves in the northwest have been created mainly in the 4th – 5th century, while the south-eastern group is older. The monument contains also rock-cut cisterns and remnants of other structures. Caves are carved out of a solid black basalt rock,(volcanic trap breccias, prone to weathering). The largest cave at Kondivite (Cave 9) has seven depictions of the Buddha and figures from Buddhist mythology but all are mutilated.It is located near the junction between the Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road and SEEPZ. The road that connects these monuments to Andheri Kurla Road is named Mahakali Caves Road after it. The caves are located on a hill that overlooks the Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road and the SEEPZ++ area. A Direct bus run by the BEST links the caves with Andheri station. The caves were in danger of being encroached upon, but now it is steel fenced on the roadside and walled on the hillside.
