Whistling Woods International is a film, communication and creative arts institute located in Mumbai, India. Founded in 2006 by Subhash Ghai. The institute is promoted by the Indian Filmmaker Subhash Ghai, Mukta Arts and Film City Mumbai. In July 2014, The Hollywood Reporter named Whistling Woods International on its list of "The best film schools in the world". The school was first ranked among the top 10 film schools by The Hollywood Reporter in 2010. Programmes offered at Whistling Woods International vary in duration from 1 year to 4 years. Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR) is an advanced research and educational institution in Mumbai. India. Aarey Forest (also known as Aarey Milk Colony and Aarey Colony) is a rich urban forest which is within the eco sensitive zone of Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP). It is classified as mixed moist deciduous type forest. It acts as a buffer between SGNP and the city, being one of the few green spaces (spread over 2000 acres) left in Mumbai. On 3 September 2020, the Maharashtra government declared one fifth of the Aarey Colony, an area of approximately 600 acres, as a reserved forest.The forest is a neighbourhood situated in Goregaon (East), a suburb of the city of Mumbai, India. It was established in 1949 to revolutionize the processing and marketing of dairy products in the city.

Wagheshwari Temple is one of the famous temples of Mumbai situated near Gokuldham Colony in Goregaon East. It is dedicated to Hindu Goddess Bhagwati. The deity is also known as Wagheshwari Mata who is supposed to be the 4th avatar or incarnation of Goddess Saraswati.The entrance of the temple is decorated with huge sculptures of elephants. An important tradition in this temple is the sindoor ceremony where married women apply red powder on each other's foreheads. Sindoor is considered a sacred symbol of marriage for Hindu women, and thus the ceremony holds an important place in the lives of these women.

Isle of Bombay was one of the Seven Islands of Bombay, an archipelago of islands that were, in the eighteenth century, connected to form the area of the modern city of Bombay in India. The island was the main harbour and the Base of the British from where the city expanded.The island stretched from Malabar Hill on the west to Dongri in the East where it formed a natural harbour. To its north at the Malabar hill end lay the Island of Worli, while the Island of Mazgaon lay across a creek from the Dongri end. The island of Colaba and the Old Woman's Island lay to the south of Bombay isle.In the eighteenth century, the isle was merged with its neighbouring landmasses of Worli (in 1784 by the building of the Hornby Vellard) and with Colaba Island via the construction of the Colaba Causeway in 1838.

National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), formerly National Institute for Training in Industrial Engineering, is a graduate business school under Ministry of HRD, Government of India located in Powai near Vihar Lake in Mumbai, and was ranked 12th among B-Schools of India as per NIRF 2020 rankings.

Vihar Lake (Pronunciation: [ʋiɦaːɾ]) is located near Vihar village on the Mithi River within the precincts of the Borivali National Park, also called the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, in North Mumbai. When built in 1860 (construction started in 1856), it was considered as the largest lake in Mumbai in the Salsette group of islands. It is hemmed between the Tulsi Lake and the Powai Lake (shown in map). It partly meets the drinking water needs of the Mumbai region. It supplies only 3% of the Mumbai city's water requirement, after filtration at Bhandup where the large water filtration plant is located.
