The Susquehanna Conduit or Big Inch project is a 108" water supply line built in the early 1960s, connecting the Deer Creek Pumping Station in Harford County, Maryland to Baltimore City. This pipeline runs about 38 miles, parallel to Interstate 95, from the Susquehanna River to the Montibello Pumping Station in Baltimore City.

Darlington Historic District is a national historic district at Darlington, Harford County, Maryland, United States. It includes approximately 100 small-scale structures in the village of Darlington. They include four churches including the Darlington United Methodist Church and the Deer Creek Friends Meetinghouse, a dozen shops and stores, barns/garages, meathouses, chicken houses, and other outbuildings, a lodge hall, a grammar school, a cemetery, and three working farms. They date particularly from the late 19th century through the early 20th century.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The primary building material is stone taken from local quarries and used to construct houses, mills, schoolhouses, and churches. Also constructed of stone are many dependencies including springhouses, stables, tenant houses, meathouses, ice houses, and barns. The district's contributing standing structures date from the mid 18th century to the 1940s, and mostly built in vernacular styles. The valley contains approximately 350 separate historic properties.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

Harford County Airport (FAA LID: 0W3) is a public airport located in the unincorporated community of Churchville, in Harford County, Maryland, United States. Harford County Airport is a general aviation (GA) airport in northern Maryland that serves primarily recreational pilots. There used to be three runways at Harford, two turf/grass runways 01/19 and 14/32, as well as one paved/asphalt runway 10/28. As part of a major expansion project, in September of 2018, the turf runway 14/32 was permanently closed to make room for a paved parking area and new hangars. At the same time, runway 01/19 was closed to be paved and extended from 2000 feet to 2856 feet. In April of 2020, the new runway 01/19 opened to traffic. The airport has a large sailplane/glider contingent and hosts some commercial flying activities, mainly sightseeing and flight training.

Deer Creek Friends Meetinghouse is a historic Friends meeting house located at Darlington, Harford County, Maryland. It is a one-story fieldstone structure, six bays long on the south, four bays on the north, and three bays wide. It was constructed in 1784 to replace a building of 1737 and renovated in 1888. The interior is divided into two spaces by an original paneled partition and the benches are original, with 10 benches in each room and an aisle down the center. The property also includes a five-stall horse shed and a cemetery with burials dating from 1775 to 1930.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

It is a two-story, five-bay brick federal style dwelling on a low stone foundation. Also on the property is a small one-story rubble stone smokehouse.Winsted was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
