Augsburg Airport (IATA: AGB, ICAO: EDMA) is a regional airport in Affing, 7 km (4.3 mi) northeast of the city of Augsburg, the third largest city in the German state of Bavaria. It is used for business and general aviation with very little passenger airline traffic.

The lake is mainly used as a bathing lake, but portions are used for fish farming. The local Health Office is responsible for monitoring water quality.

Affing House (German: Schloss Affing) is a stately home in Affing, Bavaria, Germany that has its origins in an early moated castle. It was the seat of a hofmark, a Bavarian feudal estate. After the old castle was destroyed, the schloss was built in 1682. It was burned down in 1927, but was rebuilt following the original design as closely as possible.

Affing is a municipality near (10 kilometres (6.2 mi)) Augsburg in Aichach-Friedberg district, in Swabia - Bavaria, southern Germany. The municipality covers an area of 44.85 square kilometres (17.32 sq mi). Of the total population of 5,140, 2,591 are male, 2,248 are female, and 301 are of indeterminate status (Dec 31, 2003). The population density of the community is 115 inhabitants per square kilometre (300/sq mi). Districts (villages) of the municipality Affing: Affing with Iglbach, Anwalting, Aulzhausen, Bergen, Frechholzhausen, Gebenhofen, Haunswies, Katzenthal, Miedering, Mühlhausen, Pfaffenzell. In May 2015 a tornado devastated Affing, causing severe damage.

Augsburg Hochzoll is a district in the east of the city of Augsburg. Hochzoll is bordered on its west by the Lech river, whose waters also feed the Kuhsee (Cow lake) to the south of Hochzoll. To the east, Hochzoll shares its city border with Friedberg West, a district of the town of Friedberg.
