The German School of Guayaquil (Spanish: Colegio Alemán Humboldt Guayaquil, German: Deutsche Schule Guayaquil) is a multilingual school in Guayaquil, Ecuador. It was founded in 1957 by Renate Lemke to meet the necessities of the German immigrants in the city. It is one of 117 German schools abroad and one of the three German schools in Ecuador. It belongs to the International Baccalaureate Organization and offers the Diploma Program.

The Estadio Monumental Banco Pichincha is a football stadium located in the parish of Tarqui in northern Guayaquil, Ecuador. An aerial lift or cable car currently under construction will connect the stadium with the "Aerovia" Julian Coronel station in downtown Guayaquil, which service is scheduled to start in the second half of August 2021. The stadium is the home to Ecuadorian football club Barcelona SC. It has a capacity of 59,283, which makes it the largest stadium in Ecuador.

The Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL) is a public university located in Guayaquil, Guayas Province in Ecuador. ESPOL has five faculties or schools, fifteen research centers, and several associated centers providing twenty-six undergraduate and ten master's degrees.

Centro Comercial Albán Borja is a shopping mall located in Guayaquil, Ecuador. It was inaugurated on 10 March 1983, and its named after Colonel Agustín Albán Borja of the navy; its architecture is based on hexagonal shapes which makes many of the people who visit the shopping center become disoriented, due to the shape of a 8 with seven points makes the food court triangular in shape. With a construction area of 72,000 m2, capacity for 800 vehicles, 130 commercial premises, it is, together with the Policentro, the first two shopping centers in the city of the 80s. The establishment also functions as an administrative shopping center, with an average of approximately between 15,000 and 20,000 daily visitors for judicial and banking services, business procedures and the purchase of groceries. Its influx increased due to the arrival of the prosecutor's flagrante delicto unit and the office for users of the Municipal Transit Authority (ATM). In 2017, the shopping center was remodeled for the first time after 34 years of operation, including LED lighting, flooring, and replacement of the wooden deck at a cost of $400,000.

Velero Bridge, also known as "El Velero", (Spanish: Puente del Velero) is a bridge in Guayaquil, Ecuador. One of the prominent landmarks of the city, especially when lit up at night, it was inaugurated on July 27, 2005. It forms part of the route of the Guayaquil Marathon.

The Presley Norton Museum (Museo Presley Norton) is a museum in Guayaquil, Ecuador which houses a collection of archaeological artifacts, including pottery and figurines made by the original settlers of Ecuador. It occasionally hosts film screenings and live music. The museum has approximately 8,000 artifacts, some dating as far back as 3000 B.C.The museum is in the Villa Rosa Herlinda mansion, once owned by Ismael Pérez Pazmiño, the founder of El Universo newspaper. The museum is named in honor of the Ecuadorian archaeologist Presley Norton Yoder (1932-1993).

The University of Guayaquil (Spanish: Universidad de Guayaquil), known colloquially as the Estatal (i.e., "the State [University]"), is a public university in Guayaquil, Guayas Province, Ecuador. Estatal was founded in 1883. It is the oldest university in the city of Guayaquil and has the largest student body (over 80,000 students). It operates six extension universities throughout the country.

The State University Santa Elena Peninsula (Spanish: Universidad Estatal Península de Santa Elena, - literal translation: State University Santa Elena Peninsula, UPSE), is a public university located in the canton freedom of the province of Santa Elena in the Republic of Ecuador, is the first autonomous center of teaching and which has the largest student population in the area. Currently the UPSE is accredited in the System of Higher Education, ranking in category C, according to the assessment made by the Board of Evaluation, Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education (CEAACES)
